  1 give the item you want to link to an id html highlighting and adding a unique name (no spaces or special characters) in the area of identification in the property inspector.   New Sony Vaio - Windows 7 native - streaming music stutters in the first tab when you click the links in the other tabs in the same browser

  I'm streaming Pandora in A tab in my new browser IE 8 on my new Sony Vaio Windows 7 machine.  Whenever I click on a link in another tab, there is a slight stutter in the Pandora streaming.  Is there a way to fix this?

  Assuming that the integrated graphics controller is OK, try the following:

  Launch a command (as a Runas administrator) window and enter the following commands in it:

  powercfg-h off

  powercfg/change-standby-timeout-ac 1440

  The first command turns off "Feature of putting into hibernation"

  The second command replaces the timeout stansby 24 hours when the system is connected to AC power.

  (The number is in minutes).

  Well, I know that the issue is long-term... believe me, it's a long, but as they say, the devil is in the details. Anywho, the question is, my grandfather has a HP laptop, which for two years has been able to run through a Linksys switch to his router and connect its printers to his laptop. About two months ago it suddenly doesn't work like that. Now, it works fine if it plugs directly into the router/Ethernet. My uncle suggested that the switch was bad, but after testing the same port, cable and all, the switch worked well for him.
