Does anyone know where I can choose an OEM, helmet for my Jade S liquid as it was in the box? The connector on the one I have seems to be broken and I can't get audio in one ear but I was very pleased with the quality and comfort of headphones and the sound, and I would rather not buy a set of another brand.

    Thank you

You could call the Acer UK store

Unless the Acer store has extras, I doubt if you will find any headset OEM to sell.

I looked for OEM and got 100 different types.

I'm sure that Acer does not do so, there must be the same ones from there. Take a picture of the earphune and try to match or simply find a good pair that are comfortable.

  • Liquid Jade S - update, download ask SD card...

    Hello.

I have an Acer Liquid Jade S with two SIM cards installed if no SD card space.

Yesterday received notification on an Acer system update, when I try to download, it tells me that there is no SD card installed and I need to install a...

The internal memory is almost 8GB so no problem of space here. In addition, in the storage menu, I don't have that option of phone storage, obviously because there is no sd card, that is chosen, since is the only option.

Someone knows something about this issue, no work around?

    Thank you!

not a problem, works as expected.

OTA needs a microSD card updates install, cannot use the internal memory to do so for reasons of "security".

If the only way to update is to have an inserted microSD card.

  • Update 5.0 Android Z Jade liquid

    Hi guys,.

I just bought a Z Jade liquid (S57) which came with Android 4.4.4 and I admit that I am new to the Android world...

However, I have read that Acer will be (or should be already...) support Android 5.0 update but I can't find anything in the official site and or on the broader internet.

Does anyone know if the update will be supported by an official package of Acer? If so, when? If not, any advice on how to update the OS myself?

    Thanks for any help!

update will happen via OTA (over the air update), so you will receive a notification that an update is available.

for the moment, there is no release date announced.

  • Acer Liquid Jade acting strange

    Hello world

I recently did an accidental reset on my liquid Jade, and I started my phone in demo mode. It's really annoying and I tried to delete the video demonstration, or something, but still sayd demo Mode at the bottom left, so I tried to do a Hard Reset startup again, but I got in this strange Japanese/Chinese or whatever the language of the screen, with color bars. I am little freaked right now and I can't figure out how to stop it again, right now im hiding in the back of my office and let it run out of power.

I really hope that someone can help me, I'm kind of terrified by what she could do right now

    -Eva

Thanks a lot for your help, but I solved the problem in a different way, I found "Backup and Reset" in the settings, and I ran a factory reset from there. Luckily, I was smart enough to store my photos and contacts on the SD card.

I'm glad there are people like you who are so kind to help others, it is appreciated a lot

  • Unstable GPS on ACER Liquid Jade S [icoyote]

    Hello

I recently bought an ACER Liquid Jade S. I use it with two sim cards.

The problem is that the GPS seems to be very laggy. When you use the sailing of Acer, the phone seems to lose its position some time. The position is really not accurate at all.

However, the icoyote application is not usable at all. Speed acknowledged is not accurate at all.  And the signal is lost at high speed.

Can someone help me with this matter? Is there a solution to my problem?

    Thank you

    OK, just tested and...

    (1) acer Nav worked smoothly, no problems even at 130 km/h

    (2) Google navigator worked smoothly, no problems even at 130 km/h

    (3) icoyote... the worst app I've tried. he loses parts of language, false warnings and GPS works at random, but it's an application error, given that the coverage was good.

Note that I had no GPS signal map icoyote but clicking on the GPS icon and check signal on icoyote, GPS has 4-6 satellite and the speed has been recognized, go to the main screen, no speed and no signal.

so, in the end, your device probably has some questions about GPS but icoyote done even worse.

  • Auto switching mode WIFI / 3G with Jade liquid

I'm looking for a way to leave the wlan, always active and give it a priority over 3 g - data, but still be able to use a data connection - 3 g active when out and about, and the phone did not find a wlan signal known.

Currently the only way to get a connection to the 3g - data is to disable the wlan functionality.

Problem with this is that if I forgot to come back when I get home my precious 300 MB/month of data is quickly exhausted as the non-active home wlan.

How to prioritize wlan but who have still a 3g data usable when no known wlan is connected?

Thanks for the tip! I don't know if I understood how to make it work properly... I'll mess around with it until I did.

    Thanks again.

  • multi-angle view z liquid jade s57 camera mode (what should be done, how to use it)

    Hello

I brought Acer and nobody seem to be able to explain to me what is the view from multiple angles in the camera.

When I press the photo button there is a green line ranging from the left to the right, I guess so I can move around the object im taking a picture, but I don't know m.

Only one officer of acer told me take several picture and it will merge them into one, no it's not.

What is the multi-angle notice, how I use it and what is its role?

From what I've seen online of other phone its supposed to do a 3d like this image when you turn the screen on the left, you see the left of the object, the same goes for when you turn the phone to the right. But I tried to take a picture while moving the camera 180 degrees around the object and its actually not not something special.

    Thank you for helping me.

    Yes correct.

I was able to use a picture of multi-angle using Acer abPhoto, select the picture of multi-angle, press the icon of the cube at the bottom on the left, then move your finger on the touch screen left or right, and it will move.

  • Upgrading processors in Phoenix

I just have a question regarding my HPE 1120t Phoenix (I love by the way).  Mine is equipped with an i7 3770 - a MSI GTX 670 Power Edition (which I have added of course).  I also upgraded the RAM 4 x 4 DIMMs of 1600 MHz Crucial Ballistix memory and it has a 160 GB Intel SSD 320 as boot drive with Win 7 Prem (and a Hitachi 1 TB drive HARD 7200 RPM for storage). I have also set up and drive BD - ROM HP liquid cooling.  I am very happy with my computer and have not had any problems requiring any serious repairs/adjustments.  Not at all.  It is quite fast and is perhaps one of the best pre-built OEM you can get, if this isn't the best.  HP has a system of very good quality here, although their marketing department sucks, because nobody seems to know something on this platform and its released for more than a year.

My question is this: I recently exchanged for an i7 of used but in perfect condition 3770 k in the box for a Dell XPS 7100 not working platform (he had a good Phenom II x 6 1090 t. and a good GTX 560 Ti and PSU - but the mobo of fries and the case has been damaged).

So, as I'll put here looking at this box with an i7 3770 k in there on my desk the other day, I thought why not just drag the i7 3770 k in Pegatron Z75 of my Phoenix motherboard replacing the k no 3770?  I would get an immediate bump of 100 MHz in speed.  Nothing huge but mind you, but some.  In addition, the limited overclocking HP allows.

Since I was still under warranty I won't change the CPU if it could invalidate (t - he?) "I can't say through all this gibberish).  But after the expiration of the warranty, then why not?  I know how np (I've built a few devices drilling from scratch), and while I'm there I could remove the old paste and add a few new TIM MX - 4.

But would this process work without adjustments or BIOS update or hot flushes?  Because they are virtually useful the same processor, so I think that no adjustment would be necessary.  The Phoenix is available with a i7 3770 k now and I see by the specifications, the model with the "k" version uses my 2AD5 Z75 Pegatron same mobo, but I cannot find any mention of what version of BIOS is (my BIOS is version 7.09 dated Date 14/03/12).  Of course, there must be some type of UEFI which I have now for the HP OC' limited ing allows version k.  So I think that I should update the BIOS (which often causes problems).

Please HP experts, a few tips on this would be appreciated.  I'm not sorry, if I'm not (because it's a great platform already) and I can still sell the i7 3770 k, but I'm unwilling to try now if his permit, or if my warranty is up, if it is not allowed now.

Thanks - any tips/contribution is appreciated.

Please see this HP support document entitled 'settings BIOS for the mother Formosa'. Based on this document, I would say that the computer already has a compatible BIOS, UEFI. UEFI should not be necessary to support the processor 'K '.

    Please send Bravo

  • Dell Studio XPS 9100: Case fan care? Cooler CPU upgrade options?

I want to upgrade the case fans in my XPS 9100, but I've seen much contradictory info in the actual specifications regarding size: are these 92 mm or 120 mm?

In addition, it is an i7 960: is there a compatible upgrade for the CPU cooler? I don't want or need to COO liquid: want to let it cool a bit. Basic time are constantly around 52 C.

I think that on all processors in the LGA 1366 socket, the hoses are the same.  On the 9000, I used the cooler DBX - B on 4 different processors in the LGA 1366 socket.  Any socket LGA 1366 cooler should operate, regardless of the CPU.

The DBX - B can be installed to direct the air in 1 of the 4 directions, depending on how it is mounted.  I have mine pointing upward, to the power supply.  (Note fan blows air in the direction of the fins in aluminium).  Idea is to keep the heat away from the other components of the motherboard and direct it to two fans at the rear (one being in the power supply), which are tailpipes.
