  I don't know if I should report it as a bug, but first I want to ask around to make sure I don't do something wrong.
  
  I noticed that no matter what attribute you put in this area (under the column attributes), when APEX generates your tabular presentation it not include the attribute you entered.
  
  For example, I create a simple tabular presentation using the wizard and then I entered 'Attributes of elements' of one of the column (which was a textfield): style = "color: red;"
  
  This piece of code was not the case to be found in any of the source of the page.
  
  Can someone confirm this problem? Or maybe it has already been reported?

  This list template uses CSS Sprite technique, with the class attributes control what icon from those available in the sprite image. It is essentially the same technique described for Shakeeb buttons: Here you put the name of the class required in field 2 of the attributes defined by the user of the entry in the list.

  I use Jdev 11.1.1.6.
  My VO is based on entities. I have 3 domains in this VO as F1, F2, F3
  3 fields are required.
  F1 has Combo Lov-based model implemented. List attribute LOV lookupId returned to F1 and the attribute List lookupDesc at F2.
  F2 is mandatory and can be changed. Idea is that the default text returned by lov and then user can update the description.
  
  Scenario 1: does not work >
  During execution, in mode, create when I try to select a value for this lov combo, it triggers the validation of required field for F2 (only for F2 and F3 not) and does not display the list of values. I can't do to show the list to enter some data in F2.

  Try to remove F2 partialTrigger (a partialTriggers = 'F1 id'),
  and join valueChangeListener on F1, in which you can refresh partially F2 (in code)

  Okay, that was pretty close.
  I think that the #1 problem was that the jquery.jOrgChart.js seem to have been downloaded form a Web page and he saved the HTML tags and other things. So I deleted and re-uploaded version purified upward.

  While you have the id = "org" in your SQL for the div I proposed was not necessary.

  I moved the $("#org").jOrgChart (); to "Run when the Page loads" as suggested earlier.

  Oh and added and extra color style so that the text is readable.

• ORDER BY using for the column that is not in a select list of selection?

  I have a selection list on an APEX at the apex.oracle.com page, and I would like to order by the value of the UnitOrder column.
  The SQL is:

  SELECT DISTINCT foodunit.name AS display_value, foodunit.foodunitid AS return_value
  FROM foodunit, food
  WHERE foodunit.foodid = :P18_FOODID
  ORDER BY foodunit.unitorder ASC;

  Of course, this code does not work. And since it's a selection list, I can't just add foodunit.unitorder to the SELECT statement. In addition, I can not get rid of the SEPARATE, because then for some reason, it tends to view an infinite amount of the same line...
  Order by UnitOrder is that all units that start with gram, mg, ml, kg,... etc., will be shown on top of the selection list. All other units of food will be shown on the second place and so on.
  The UnitOrder column contains 1 or 2 as the value. 1 is the value for all lines which should be displayed at the top of the list of selection, 2 is the value for the rest.
  
  So, what I want, it's all the lines in which the UnitOrder is 1, are displayed on top of the selection list. Usually only 2 list items get displayed in the list of selection at a time, depending on what food item a user has selected. The selection list is then refined to certain lines that match the foodid etc etc...
  
  If someone has an idea, I would be very happy to hear about it.

  I don't see a join between the tables of your foodunit and food. That would solve your problem of "endless amount"?

  I need to create jQueryUI accordion region based on the list of the APEX / model list. The list will be loaded with the SQL query that contains information of list of level:

  I created the list using < h3 > the main entrance level element template and < a > elements of level 2 data.

  Unfortunately, this does not work very well. It seems that the APEX does not print sublist after excerpts from lines < div > but handles sublist elements correctly. In the end, my links are not wrapped with < div > and jQuery UI does not know how to handle the HTML code. It takes only first elements sublist and creates the accordion content.

  I found a way to solve this problem. Again, I made a list template in which I entered in < / div > < tag div > during entry of the main list but this solution works only if I'm sure that each main entry has child elements.
  
  My question is: why the APEX does not print tags sublist < div >. I must say that this model works well if I use a static list. It seems to me that APEX does not know how to handle parenting using the dynamic SQL list.

• AJAX Select function lists

  Is someone can you please help me understand where mistaken?
  
  I have 2 regions on page 1. Region 1 is supposed to have 2 drop-down list lists (values IE cascading in the second menu dropdown Drop list HJ are dependent on the value selected in the first lov Ajax select HJ). Region 2 will be a report.
  
  I have tried to create lovs in cascade AJAX based on for example. condition at the request of CARL so that region 2 is not refreshed whenever I select a value in the drop-down list below

• Set the width of the characters in the selection list

  I have a selection list on my apex page. Here is a list of dynamic selection generated from a sql query. Does anyone know how to set the maximum length in characters of the list item, as some of my entries are huge and the selection list takes the width of my page.

  You would do this with the LOV query. Here is an example:
