• Programs appearing in Launchpad, which I have not installed?

  I have a new Macbook and Launchpad just checked and there are programs that I didn't download and install on the Macbook, I have them can I have downloaded on another Mac a long time ago. Programs somehow get copied to the Launchpad to one Mac to another? Are some of the programs showing Google Play Music, Box, AirDroid, I certainly have not downloaded on the Mac.

  Someone sent me a photo that has been copied from visualslideshow running on another computer.  I downloaded he considered what it is and saved it not knowing it wasn't a normal jpeg file.

  Now every time I turned off my computer, after the screen that says "of programmes - need to close ' etc, the image flashes on my screen and then the computer shuts down."  I tried to freeze the image so I could try to stop the program, but the best I could do was read "visualslideshow" in the lower right of the image.

  I did the following:

  1 remove the photo

  2 search programs for visualslideshow - has not found any reference to visualslideshow

  3 looked into services.msc services and msconfig,-has not found anything

  4. watched in the the Task Manager - applications and process - has not found anything

  5. virus software - ran no virus

  6 looked at Windows media player - no slide show or photo

  7 google everything I could think of

  8 went to visualslideshow.com and looked for a way to delete a photo/slide show running without the software installed - nothing

  9 tried to do a restore of the system twice but the restore will fail.

  I can't get the image to display any other time - only pop during the closing down.

  Anyone know what may be the problem and how do I remove this file permanently?

  I solved the problem.

  The picture was in these two folders:

  ~appdata\roaming\Microsoft\windows Photo Viewer

  and

  ~appdata\roaming\Microsoft\windows\themes

  Delete the picture and everything is back to normal.   (not sure how and why they got there).

  Files did not have the name of the original file, so were not not in one of the searches I did.

  I'm a noob, but get the hand of it. Here's my question: I started with about 20 video files (2 h of images). All the files, I created about 60 "subitems" carefully conducted in a bin. Then I doubled all the 60 clips one by one. However, I accidentally deleted one of these clips in the middle (and cannot cancel because it was some time ago) and I don't know which clip is has.

  What I want to do is to select the tray with the subitems to 60 and identify the one that (perhaps more than one actually) have NOT been inserted in my sequence. Is it possible to do? Similar to Excel when you select a formula and it indicates what cells was in charge, could I select my sequence and it tells me that the clips are 'in charge '? Any other suggestions?

  There is a "Use of video" column in the project window.  This should show you that it isn't currently in your sequence as well.

• Error message about Lightroom mobile (which I have not or use)

  I bought the version regular stand-alone Lightroom and use it without any cloud thing. Suddenly, I get an error message that says "mobile trial Lightroom has expired. I do not use it, the "feature" is suspended (cannot be disabled), but the annoying error message is still displayed.

  How to completely remove this message?

  In the upper left corner of the main window close the model name, there should be a drop down menu that has "sync with LR Mobile" as the first option. From there, you should be able to disable it.

  Recently used programs list, does not list the recently used programs, is not sort my most frequently used. Installation of a windows 7 Home premium.

  When a program is installed first it is listed, even if I used havnt. After I click on it, it deletes itself recently used programs and never hit list again even if I click on the icon of the button start again and again.

  Maybe it's not a menu "recently used", it is a menu "frequently used".  I saw the user of Microsoft interface Style rules and a few articles on MSDN explain the subtle differences, before... so I think that Windows is not calculate frequent that fast, or the taskbar.  If you want to display on the list, you must open it in menu start (the long way).   If you double-click the Home button, the recently used applications will be displayed. The most recent will be on the top and closed to the home screen.
