  We have some reports of chart of 6i Oracle who are not against the 11g Server Application, so we plan to do it again and I don't understand where to start with, to get an estimate of the work to be done.
  
  First of all, can I use the data visualization components or ADF Oracle BI beans 10.1.2.x (ADF DVT - this seems to be available in JDeveloper 11 g) with Database 11g?
  
  Secondly, what part (such as applications) from the current reports 6i can I use in their development by using BI Bean, whereas the versions above of the BI beans.
  
  If someone has worked on the BI beans / ADF DVT before, please give me your suggestions.

  Hello Sona,
  BI beans is built in in the report generator.

  1 - have a data model will the paper layout
  2 - See the graphic on the left icon
  3 - click on it and then draw a section in the page layout and the wizard appears
  4 - follow the steps in the wizard, and you will get a chart.

  I'm not aware of your invoice volumes.

  If the daily volume is low, if it is going to be the user of your company to record invoice AP of the external system for Oracle, you can opt for the type WebADI as More4Apps tools. A simple option will download the data ina excel format and M4a can validate & import invoices into oracle with a single click.

  If you want an automated way, you can even try as an ETL to load the interfaces and plan Payables import / invoice Auto import 2 - 3 times a day.

  What I want is to run an oracle application forms that we have developed in the past, but I don't have 'Oracle Forms and Reports 10' and I think that the OAS which comes with the BI tools is not enough to run the application forms. Is it? It's supossed that perhaps the server Oracle Forms and reports part is included in the oracle developer suite, but I can't. Do I need a CD full of OAS facility? can I have this version of Oracle Forms and reports

  I spread an AM in one of the standard Oracle applications Page. After its replacement by the new AM, a LOV in the standard page no longer works.

  1. you can move this code to the controller.

  2. While doing the extension must also worry about the maintainability of the code.

  3. If you do not add this to the CO, create a new AM, specify this AM to a region on your page, now it will become nested AM.

  The responsibility of the system administrator, query the report in the definitions of concurrent programs and check the enable Trace. Run the program. A trace file will be put on your $ORACLE_HOME/admin/udump directory. TKProf this trace file and open the generated output.

  I use Theme 13 (inheritance) and make a copy of the report area. Published, but could not find an equivalent section of this screenshot of the apex 3.1.

  This suggests that you look at the definition of region page, or even simply the definition of region model. What you need here is a copy of the report model.

  1. go in Home > Application Builder > Application > shared components > models.

  2. Select theme 13 theme filter, the Filter Type reports and click OK.

  3. create a copy of the Standard report model by using the icon copy in the list.

  4. Select the new report template and edit it as shown in the thread linked to above, paying special attention to the content of the second post. (It is of generic column template definition page that contains the section in the screenshot).

  Publish your SCORM SCORM Cloud and test if it will show you the results you want.  If so, then your problem is with your LMS.  If this is not your problem may be due to something in the settings of your current project.  Eliminate one thing at a time.

  I work with APEX 4.1. Oracle 11.
  
  I have a simple and classic report with 4 columns (username, role, reading, updating). The columns of the reading and the update are select list with values of 'Yes', 'no '.
  
  Report looks like this:
  
  User role name read the update
  JSmith Admin Yes Yes
  LJones Dev yes no
  
  
  My requirement is that when the user selects Yes the update select list, the value of the associated column in the reading should change Yes as well for this particular user name. Change must occur after Yes is selected in the list select update.
  
  Im not very strong with javascript, but for testing purposes I applied: onchange = "alert ('hi'); "in the update column. When I make a change to the update select list, the alert returns to its position.
  
  Can anyone suggest how I can implement the change to the value of associated reading of Yes if the selected update value is Yes, for this particular line.

  Welcome to Oracle Forms!  Out of curiosity, what do you mean by 'new '?  You are a student or new to an organization that uses Oracle Forms?  Or just play with Oracle Forms to learn something new?

  Let me start by saying that many of your questions designtime can answer by searching in the help of the constructor of the form library.  It's accessible, like most of the other products in the Builder menu > help.

  Regarding your question, ENTER QUERY mode, as the term implies, is when it is in a State where it is accept input for the execution of a query.  When in this mode, there are various restrictions.  Yet once, it will find more details in the Builder Help.  In this case, search help for these two subjects, "SYSTEM." MODE'and "built-ins comments that are not allowed in the input query Mode".  There are many other pages that contain information about the ENTER_QUERY method, but these two should help you get started.

  Normal mode, as its name implies, is when it is in a State of 'normal '.  Basically to do nothing in particular, but also not in ENTER QUERY mode.  In this State, you can move the shape, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, documents, etc..
