Thank you

Hi graydorian,

Welcome to the support community!
Could you please try to change the DNS address used on the BlackBerry smartphone, and then try to add the e-mail again account?
Go to: settings > network connections > Wi-Fi. At the bottom of the screen, tap the icon of saved .  Select the saved network. Scroll down and deselect Auto obtain IPand fill in the required manually.

Let me know if this helps.

    Hey hinjeyan,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

Currently you are unable to set up notifications for different e-mail accounts on the BlackBerry Z10.  There is no estimated time when this feature will return.

  • BlackBerry Z10 problem creation account Exchange ActiveSync on Z10

    Hi all

I'm trying to set up my e-mail account on a Z10 using Exchange ActiveSync. Setting up the same account on a Samsung Galaxy S3 works perfectly well.

When I use the normal installation procedure, I enter my e-mail address and password and get back this:

Expected, delimiter: line 1 122 (122 char) column

If I pass by "Advanced", the error message is the same, except for the number 194 instead of 122.

The account in question is an Office 365 E3, and I would avoid using BBCS (if it works even with OS 10 devices; there are conflicting reports on the net).

I asked the carrier, I got the phone, and they said they couldn't help because it wasn't their e-mail account. I asked Microsoft and they told me they couldn't help because it was a problem of BlackBerry. I asked BlackBerry, and they have not yet responded.

    Can anyone help?

(By the way, why is there an error message from a JSON reader in the standard library of Python concerned with creating a Exchange account? Because that's when the message comes. Microsoft is not known for their enthusiastic embrace of JSON, they love with XML).

Problem solved. I consider the problem with security and limit myself to the waves of suggestions, but since that alone would suffice to guess the problem, why bother?

The error occurred because my password contained double a quotation mark character. Somewhere in the account of the Z10 configuration procedure, something assembles a JSON structure, among other things, the password entered by the user. This password is placed in a quoted string, but the quotes inside it are not escaped. When the structure is passed to the next step, it is not parsed, and the error occurs.

I wonder why I seem to be the first user to have this problem.

TL; Dr: have no quote characters in your password.

  • Set UP AN E-MAIL ACCOUNT: On the yahoo site I can't find any information on the type of incoming or outgoing server

I can't find any information about the type of server type server incoming or outgoing so that I can set up an e-mail account to windows on the yahoo site.

Here are instructions to configure Yahoo in Windows Mail in Vista: http://www.freeemailtutorials.com/vistaWindowsMail/setupYahooMailInWindowsMail.php.  It includes the server settings you requested.  I don't know if they are the same with other e-mail programs, but that's what comes with Vista and you're in a Forum of Vista so I took my best shot at the choice of this particular option to present.

There are many other tutorials and articles on how to set up the account depending on what e-mail program you are using and what type of Yahoo email account you have.  Go to http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=Amc3Rw9f2u0uuHTa9.YBe0SbvZx4?fr=yfp-t-701-s&toggle=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF8&p=yahoo%20email%20settings%20for%20windows%20mail and enter your question as "for Windows Live Mail, the e-mail settings" or "for Outlook 2007, the settings of e-mail"or what you use.»  Check the results, and then search for tutorials on the option that you use.  Again, whether or not you can do depends on the type of account Yahoo Mail you have (some are not available with the free version).  I can't any more detailed data without setting up an account of myself (and I don't want one).  I can't help you further with your search because you did not provide the e-mail program, you are using or the version of Vista you are using.

I hope this helps.  If you need more information, give me more information.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Q10 Q10 - How di I select which e-mail accounts are visible in the "Hub".

I'm slowly getting used for the "news" of Q10 (I still think as most of them as bugs) and find how it works around them, I'm stuck on the hub.

It seems to me that a good way to deal with this constant problem of what is shown/saved/reviewed etc would be to set up multiple e-mail accounts (still don't understand why a postal address dictates how messages are handled, but that's another topic)

The problem I am facing in, is that I can not understand how to change the settings of the hub to choose which e-mail addresses are indicated in the hub, and which ones I have go to separately (ir not shown in the hub)

Actually, what I did is set up multiple addresses such as [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], etc, and I just want to see abc1 and housed in the hub abc3... you get the idea.

Thanks in advance for your help.

It is possible to define which accounts appear in the hub.

Go to the hub and press the 3 points in the lower right. And then tap Settings. Then choose the Management Hub. Enable/disable accounts that you want to make visible/invisible.

This is not a fault BLackberry, when you send an email to the same address, the e-mail appears in the sent and Inbox on the Z10, it also gets sent to the computer.

  • BlackBerry Z10 cannot add the iCloud IMAP e-mail. Weird error message.

    Hello

Just, I've got my mobile business phone, a BlackBerry Z10 and wanted to add my iCloud service in the personal workspace. The contacts and the synchronization of calendar just fine, but when you add the mail I get this error message:

    "order: b 'CAPABILITY'-online socket error:-too much reading 0.

Also when you try to add the e-mail as an IMAP account standard account, enter all parameters according to Apple, I always get the error message once he wants to "save and check your settings. I also tried different combinations of ports (587, 25), smtp, SSL and StarTLS. Using the user name with or without the @me.com. Use @icloud.com instead @me.com,... etc. etc. Always get this error message.

Then I though perhaps administrators blocked this feature, however I was able to add my personal gmail account, which would have been the case if they would block private emails.

    Any help much appreciated!

    Thank you, Christoph

I have solved the problem now.

It is not logical to me, but it works.

Rather than take the path normal through the settings, accounts, add imap, etc.

    I did this:

    1. slide to the left to open the hub

    2. press the button 'More' at the bottom right

    3. tap on settings

    4. type e-mail accounts

    5. tap on add account

    6. tap on advanced

    7. tap on IMAP

Then follow the normal steps by filling out the form.

I know that (I think) is in the same place to complete the form only when you go through the steps described in the knowledge base article.

Still, I can't explain why, but it worked for me. Using the same exact references.

    Thanks for your support tho!

  • Impossibility of blackBerry Smartphones to set up an e-mail account

    Hello

As I received my BB, I started the e-mail application. The BB has proposed an update to this app and I agreed.

I myself remember, during the update process, I was proposed to replace the email app by an app 'setup_email... '. "or something like that.

Now, I can't put any e-mail account as the terminal of bugs when I try to open the e-mail set in place the function.

Then the screen is blocked and I have to close the terminal with the power button.

I tried to update the whole OS from 5 to 6.0.0.576 with BB Desktop Manager, but the problem remains.

For your information, and if it helps, I just see the configuration of the e-mail (6.11.0419.0755) application is located after the games in the list of applications of the BB Desktop Manager.

  • Windows 10 check 'Remember password' cannot be controlled when you set up an e-mail account. Works on Windows 7

I had to set up a new e-mail account during the migration of Windows 10. For some reason, Thunderbird stop working so I had to start from scratch. In doing so, I uninstalled Thunderbird and reinstalled using TB 38.2.0. The box to remember my password could not be verified. I deleted the account and the new account e-mail selected to the box. It won't let me check it out.

I'm sorry, there is no simple way to switch from one profile to another.

First make a backup of C:\Users\*user name * \AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles. Create all the accounts in the new profile. Now close TB, go to profiles (see above path), then in the old profile. Now (and not move) copy the directories 'ImapMail', 'Mail' and 'News' in the new profile. It may be you have not all directories, according to accounts. Start TB with the new profile and check if everything is back you need.

Passwords are not copied, and you must enter now when is already done before.

  • How to combine features of Thunderbird each access to different sets of multiple e-mail accounts on 2 old computers in a configuration of Thunderbird on my new computer?

The laptop to access my personal email accounts (4 different ones) and my company email accounts (2 different ones). The old office can access my email accounts personal and emails from my wife (2 accounts for her). I now have a new desktop computer and I would like access to all the accounts of a single Thunderbird. It would be extremely difficult to start a new Thunderbird and enter all account information for all of these multiple accounts of a new beginning and re-upload all emails. I know that I can save the Thunderbird profiles separately and restore them to separate the case of Thunderbird on two distinct users, but it's a pain to change username every time one of us needs to see a different e-mail account. If multiple accounts cannot be restored in an instance of Thunderbird new monkey, is there a way to set up two instances of Thunderbird on a single office and restore backup of a computer in a Thunderbird and the other in the second? Thank you.

Menu (alt + T) OK, tools > options > Security > passwords > saved passwords and by clicking on the button show the password appears what you forgot.

I think that the closer you get to what you want is two profiles...

If you change a shortcut for the following arguments according to the target

    -ProfileManager -no-remote

Thunderbird will run twice on your computer (so it can be opened in each profile) and ask which profile every time it starts. If you use the argument Pei [profile Name] then Thunderbird will begin with the indicated profile (required several shortcuts).

My goal of looks like this

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Daily\thunderbird.exe" -ProfileManager -no-remote
