  • post a custom event to trigger the listener

    Hi all:

    My project read resultset of a database table and a while loop I put the records in a cache one by one. I registered a listener with the cache, and when an insertion event occurs, the listener #entryInserted record the news record in a log file. Everything works very well.

    Now at the end of the while loop, I would like to post (send or fire) an event on measurement (including information like the total count) to the listener to say things, "that's all!" and the listener must react accordingly.

    Can we do with the APIs of consistency? If so, how?

    Thank you

  • Unable to start listener Apex

    Hi Udo,

    I think I have a similar problem to this {: identifier of the thread = 2257622}
    I was trying to map a domain name to an APEX application, but I live to the top--> I tried to solve the problem, but I couldn't--> I've uninstalled it Glassfish.
    When I tried to re - install, I got this Msg (launch Java TM 2 Runtime Environment) and then he disappeared, and the installation stopped.

    Then I installed the Java EE SDK from
    http://GlassFish.Java.NET/public/downloadsindex.html#top
    I have deployed the listener, and when tried to run it, I got this Msg * "State HTTP 503 - requested the http://localhost url: 8080/apex/is currently unavailable.*.
    If I go to http://localhost: 8080, he said: "your server is running...". »
    If I go to http://localhost: 8080/apex/listenerConfigure, I get the configuration page, but when I click on Apply, I get the same error:
    * HTTP Status 503 - url requested http://localhost: 8080/apex/apex is currently unavailable.*
    In the State of the configuration page, it is said, "listener of the APEX is not configured."

    I tried to redeploy the listener again, and when I click on the launch, I get no response (no new page / tab opens)

    I spent hours searching and trying to solve. your help is very appreciated...

    Kind regards

    Hi Fateh,

    are you sure of your GlassFish now uses JDK 7 you have installed? Check the server.log of your GlassFish domain to see what JAVA_HOME it actually uses. You should find something like

    INFO: JVM invocation command line:
    C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_26\bin\java.exe

    (of course, it'll be a jdk1.7.0_03 or something similar in your case).

    If I go to http://localhost: 8080/apex/listenerConfigure , I get the configuration page, but when I click on Apply, I get the same error:
    HTTP status 503 - url requested http://localhost: 8080/apex/apex is currently unavailable.

    You should see an error in the newspaper of the Auditors of the APEX (or maybe server.log as well). If it is not a question of JDK, it could also be a problem with file permissions or driver JDBC that prevents APEX listener to record (or application) configuration. In the log, you should definitely see where APEX listener retrieves the apex-config. XML in. Make sure it is readable and accessible writeable for the user, or set config.dir to point to a location that is and put apex - config.xml in this directory to Active Directory.
    Do you run your GlassFish with Admin rights?

    Why 2 instances? It's stand alone db and I expect to see a single instance for my db service.

    READY status comes from the instance by registering for the listener.
    The UNKNOWN status comes from the list of sid entry in listener.ora. It is the UNKNOWN status because there is no guarantee that there is one instance it. The listener has recorded the entry because it was configured to do so, but he does not confirm there is actually such a forum there. See http://edstevensdba.wordpress.com/2011/03/19/ora-12514/.

  • Connected HP printers missing

    I've had printers serval of installation with connected HP and ePrint to print from Chromebooks, all tested and working. Today, they're all gone. I had 3 printers with one account and another impression with a completely separate account. The two accounts show no printer. Is there a power outage any right now? Why would they be here last week, but not this week?

    Some news: I called the support in Germany. After a transfer and listen to records of jingles, I spoke with a very competent woman from HIM. She confirmed the current problems with HP eprint-service. According to her, the technicians are working on a solution and the problem should be solved in the night (here it is 18:15), so I hope that the service is running again in the next 12 hours.

  • How to add the listenter in a folder

    Hello friends,

    Please help me out by telling how can I add a file listener in any folder in flex.

    whenever a file is added to this file, I can get any event, which tells me that on the file,

    Exactly, I want to add the listener to record image in playbook to get information if it adds a new file.

    Thank you

    The suggestion of John (I think that is correct: no way integrated for this), the as3corelib library has a FileMonitor already, class that does what it describes.  You can extend to do something similar with a polling call to getDirectoryListing (or, preferably, the asynchronous version of that) to keep track of the directory.

  • Any java API to delete an e-mail account

    I am also looking for some API to remove him leads of the device e-mail account. I'm not able to find this API. I think I might delete the service book entry. However I have not found this API as well. So just wonder if it of possible or not. It would be appreciated any confirmation.

    No, this is not possible.

  • Registration of static data base for the management

    Hi all

    In my test environment, there is a configuration of simple network to a database when there is a single instance and a single listener,
    I recorded several services, by static database registration, accommotade several needs of my company. As, the services "sales.xxxx.com" intended to the Sales Department, "financial.xxxx.com" for the financial dapartemn... And on the customer side of the tnsnames.ora file are configured to find the correspondent of the service

    I think that in this form we can have several types of query management are coming in the listener.

    I have two questions:
    (1) can we stop and start a service registered by the registration of static database?
    (2) is to correct the approach described above?
    (3) if the approach is wrong, what is the best approach to manage the type of request in the listener?

    Thank you

    I don't know what is "static database registration" for you, for me it is including the SID in listener.ora.
    By doing this, you can save a database in listener.ora only once.
    Dynamic name service registration, each database can register with the listener as soon as it starts.
    Services can be disabled (depending on the version and you do not disclose what version you use), using the dbms_service package in the database.
    And Yes, these services will appear in tnsnames.ora and if you conceptually link to an application, you can stop the application without closing the database.

    However, registration of static data (in listener.ora) has nothing to do with it.

    OK, here is the demo that I promised

    First of all, let's take a look on my tnsnames.ora for reference. Note the entries for larry and moe differ only in the way specified SERVICE_NAME

    [oracle@vmlnx01 admin]$ cat tnsnames.ora
    # tnsnames.ora Network Configuration File: /ora00/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/network/admin/tnsnames.ora

          (SERVICE_NAME = vlnxora1.mydomain)
        )
      )

    moe =
      (DESCRIPTION =

        (CONNECT_DATA =
          (SERVICE_NAME = vlnxora1)
        )
      )

    Now we will connect to the database and look at the init key parms. Note the value of db_domain sucks and service_name is simple.

    [oracle@vmlnx01 admin]$ sqlplus / as sysdba

  • FMS will not save video h.264 flash player 11?

    Hello

    I use the beta version of fp11 of stream videos live h.264 between two machines. I also record this live interaction. However, it seems that FMS does not understand how to record h.264 video? My set for the netstream looks like:

    _netStream = new NetStream (_netConnection);

    _netStream.client = customClient;

    var h264Settings:H264VideoStreamSettings = new H264VideoStreamSettings();

    h264Settings.setProfileLevel (H264Profile.BASELINE, H264Level.LEVEL_2);

    _netStream.videoStreamSettings = h264Settings;

    The video has an audio stream, but no video stream. Is there some specific profile required for FMS understand how to keep the h.264? Or, is this simply a feature that is yet to be implemented?

    Thank you

    Ben

    Hello

    Thanks for trying to FMS and H264 streaming.

    You are not able to save the file or not able to broadcast at all?

    You must use the netstream.record () API to start recording on the server from the client and you can also use stream.record () to check on the server side.

    H264 is compatible with FMS and it can be listened and recorded as well. Use mp4 / f4v file format (giving the prefix and the extension for streaming and recording), to use the content of the H264.

    Hope the helps of information. Thank you!

  • Cannot listen to an audio track of several registered through the recording of the cycle... ?

    I'm a new logic/Mac user, so I think I'm missing something obvious.

    I use Logic Pro X I used the cycle recording recording a few songs - but changed the following setting:

    -went to folder, duplication of Audio recordings, create titles selected and Mute under record Cycle

    -J' recorded audio takes 4-5, which was all placed in the new circuits controlled by a single potentiometer

    -When I listen to these songs at the same time, I only heard one of them at a time. If I cut one of the tracks, they all get muted. If I solo, they all get to have.

    Why don't I hear a track at a time? I want to double to the top of my voice recording, but seem not to be able to...?

    Please help, thanks!

    -Mike

    You know a little more sense, to understand what is happening.

    The "short": answer

    • In logic, a track (the way horizontal track that records your regions) and a channel strip (which is responsible for the delivery of audio) are two separate components.
    • You can create several tracks which are all assigned to the same channel strip.
    • All of these buttons Mute , Solo buttons, sliders to Volume and Pan buttons are technically identical, a representation of the coontrols of this single Channel Strip. So pressing a button Mute or Solo allows all other buttons on the pieces.
    • This is the program installation you created with the recordings option overlapping 'create tracks.
    • You must create new tracks (assigned to their own Channel Strip) or reassign these tracks and copy regions.
    • In your case, select records that overlap "create a folder to" and then choose "unpack new tracks" in the Comp Menu.

    You might get the idea that there is some learning/reading to do to be able to use logic, regardless of what you do.

    Hope that helps

  • Y510p DELAY everything while listening to my recorder taken entry

    Hi, I have a Lenovo Y510p, i7-4700MQ, 8.1 Windows x 64, 8 GB of RAM, Intel Wireless-N 7260... My goal is to record my guitar in Audacity. Really simple, uh?... that's what I thought.

    Well, I have first to separate all the input devices:

    If I get this in my recording devices:

    The "Mic / to the front panel" is activated when I connect my guitar to the Jack (of course, I connect it through the amp, with distortions and effects).

    The "Microphone" option is for the build-in microphone, next to the webcam.

    Well, I turn on the 'Listen to this device' option in the control panel of the 'before' Mic (taken), so when I record my guitar, I can listen.

    So, I plug in my guitar, and as it should be, I start listening to it via my laptop speakers. Everything is OK except for one thing, there is DELAY!

    In my old laptop 8 years it is low-end, I can do this without any delay, but my new Lenovo powerful, I was late... WTH?

    I read that old laptops are capable of "hardware playthrough" the sound you record, but in new, you can only use the option "listen to this device", which is "software playthrough" and that the delay with it.
    So, what is the point of hardware playthrough unable?
    I can't not material speed it up?
    How in the hell is my old laptop better save my guitar than this portable multimedia high-end $1000?

    Solved!

    Just go to the speakers properties, then LEVEL tab and there is an option for hardware playthrough, so you can listen to what you save without delay.

  • How to read the contents of the attachments to the record listener?

    Hi all

    We have a blackberry user interface application that implements FolderListener. The messagesAdded(FolderEvent e) public void in the record listener method is called whenever a new message arrives on the device.

    Now, there are some emails that will also spare.

    Can someone tell me how to read the contents of the attachment?

    I can read correctly the content of the body of the email.

    Our code to handle the arrival of e-mail for your reference is mentioned below.

    public class MyUIApplication extends UiApplication implements FolderListener
    {
        public void messagesAdded(FolderEvent e) {
            Message orginalMessage = e.getMessage();

            Folder messageFolder = orginalMessage.getFolder();

            if (e.getMessage().isInbound() == true) {

                String sender = orginalMessage.getFrom().toString();
                String subject = orginalMessage.getSubject();
                String body = orginalMessage.getBodyText();

                String attachmentContent = ""// Read atachment content here?

                // some more code
            }
        }
    }

    Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    There is no way to prevent a menu item to be added to an AttachmentHandler.  When a user clicks your menu item will be called the run method.

    If you have registered an AttachmentHandler for your type of attachment and the prefix the file name of the attachment with x-rimdevice, you would be able to access its contents of in a FolderListener.
