ListFindItem with StartingPosition out of reach: BUG

Hello

The index returned by ListFindItem is BAD when:

• StartingPosition = 0 (this is a wrong value: StartingPosition must be > = 1).
• The search value is equal to the LAST item inserted in the list:

The following code example shows the bug in the TEST_D:

int main (int argc, char *argv[])
{
ssize_t     startingPosition = 0;
size_t      index = 0;
int         val = 0;

ListType myList = NULL;

myList = ListCreate (sizeof(int));

val = 1;
ListInsertItem (myList, &val, END_OF_LIST);

val = 2;
ListInsertItem (myList, &val, END_OF_LIST);

val = 3;
ListInsertItem (myList, &val, END_OF_LIST);

// TEST_A: OK
startingPosition = 1;
val = 1;
index = ListFindItem (myList, &val, startingPosition, IntCompare);
// index = 1 --> OK

// TEST_B: OK
startingPosition = 10; // WRONG value: startingPosition is over the number of items.
val = 1;
index = ListFindItem (myList, &val, startingPosition, IntCompare);
// index = 0 --> OK because startingPosition is out of range (>3)

// TEST_C: OK
startingPosition = 0; // WRONG value: startingPosition must be >= 1
val = 1;
index = ListFindItem (myList, &val, startingPosition, IntCompare);
// index = 0 --> OK because startingPosition is out of range (<1)

// TEST_D: NOT OK
startingPosition = 0; // WRONG value: startingPosition must be >= 1
val = 3; // value of the LAST ITEM inserted in the List
index = ListFindItem (myList, &val, startingPosition, IntCompare);
// index = 3 --> NOT OK: the behaviour is different compare to TEST_C.
// In this case, ListFindItem must return 0 (NOT 3) because startingPosition is out of range (<1).
// If you look for another item (not the last: val=1 ou val=2) ListFinfItem returns 0 --> OK
return 0;
}

Hello jm73,

The behavior you're seeing is planned. Please note that you can use the following two macros to specify the starting position: END_OF_LIST and FRONT_OF_LIST . Macros are defined as follows in toolbox.h :

#define FRONT_OF_LIST -1 /* Handy Constants that substitute for item positions */
#define END_OF_LIST 0 /* END_OF_LIST means one past current length of list when
inserting. Otherwise it refers the last item in the list. */

Specifying 0, you say the ListFindItem function to start looking at the end of the list, that is why, he finds the last item.

Apple Watch does not currently offer them alerts audible or haptic if it is taken out of the reach of the paired iPhone Bluetooth. • Error of flow OR MAX and attribute camera out of reach

I recently bought a camera Point Grey Grasshopper3, it seems to work fine at point software fly Cap Gris provides, but I get an error NI Max when I try to do a simple puncture (see below). This error appears every time I try to catch a time image the first after the opening OR MAX, even if the flow is set to maximum. Then I change the flow under control of the unit to any integer 125000000 max, and the camera works very well for MAX. It will capture images as much as I need. Then I save the camera output MAX, open MAX once again, it shows my saved settings, I'm going to capture images and I get the error again. If I change the range regardless of the number and it works again in the same session in MAX.

I had a gray point Zebra2 work very well and he used in my program LabVIEW with IMAQdx to acquire images. When I try to use grasshopper3, LabVIEW returns error attribute camera out of reach of the VI camera configuration. I use to test the camera of the VI is the camera just to open, configure acquisition, start acquiring, get the picture, cancel the acquisition and nearby IMAQdx camera configuration. I did twice open MAX, change the flow, save the camera, close MAX without grasping an image and then was able to acquire images in LabVIEW in the first inning. I would run the VI once again and then it returns the error to attribute camera out of reach. I changed the packet size, resolution and the frame rate of the camera with a difference in errors.

Since I am able to images of the stream from the camera to the gray point fly capture and Max after activating/deactivating the flow layout, it leads me to believe there is some sort of error MAX/LabVIEW that prevent me to capture the images.

Any ideas? Has anyone else had this problem with MAX and LV?

Looks like the point Grey cameras showed this error before the firmware on the basis. See this linkfor such a forum. I would monitor the camera (*.icd) file located in the data folder IMAQdx in public Documents to see if the actual value is be replaced after the configuration of the camera has been saved in MAX. There is a chance that the GigE. XML file which is transferred from the camera is overwrite these values in the unacceptable value. See this linkfor a KB about this error, which leads me to believe that this may be the problem.

• applied range__i resolution the resolution of my screen to the highest frequency and my screen is black screen and out of reach, I restarted my pc, but when it came to the login page my affixed screen again the same how can I get it back

I chose my resolution of windows xp to the highest frequency screen and my screen become black and displayed out of reach, I restarted my pc, but when it came to the login page my screen shows again her even, how can I get it back?

Hi hcosdihv,

Start the PC in safe mode then go back to the display settings and set the resolution to a lower level.

You start in Mode safe by constantly pressing the F8 key as your PC starts. A menu will appear and you must select the Safe Mode option.

Once you have changed the screen resolution, you can restart your PC normally.

Make sure that you "only" to select an output of the range option.

• Dual monitor dilemma: dvi - d, out of reach

I have been running this Setup dual monitor since late December and have had no problems so far. But before I did my primary secondary monitor and tried to run 'Civilization beyond Earth' (which I've cranked up for the highest possible settings) on it and was greeted with "dvi - d out of reach of the 67.5 khz/60 Hz" on a black screen. So I restarted my computer, which only complicated the issue because my LG (which again, read "dvi - d out of reach of the 67.5 khz/60 Hz") was my main monitor, and so I couldn't connect. It's been fixed only when I unplugged my other monitors the dvi cable, and my login screen appears. I can run the other monitor as my primary, but only if the LG is unplugged, and as soon as I plug my LG it becomes main monitor and displays new "dvi - d out of reach of the 67.5 khz/60 Hz", which means that I can't do my other monitor primary so that the two are connected.

My questions are: You have an idea, what is the problem? Or how to fix it? I can't stop the LG to the monitor main spot? Why is it read "dvi - d out of reach of the 67.5 khz/60 Hz" when the two are connected?

Hey Joe,

Thanks for posting your concern on the Microsoft community.

With the description you've provided, looks like there could be some problems with the resolution of the video card.

I suggest you increase the refresh rate of the video card and check if that helps. You can follow the steps described in the following article:

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/correct-monitor-flicker-refresh-rate#1TC=Windows-7

Note: If you notice flicker on a CRT monitor, you may need to change your screen resolution before changing the refresh rate. The resolution is high, the higher your refresh rate should be, but not every screen resolution is compatible with every refresh rate.

For more information, see

Change your screen resolution:

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/change-your-screen-resolution

Changes to the refresh rate affect all users who log on the computer.

Hope this information helps. Let us know the State and do not hesitate to write back to us for assistance.

• Strange problem of Debug with System.out.println

Hello

I have an interesting question that I have not been able to solve and I reach out for more help.

Earlier today my app stopped writing System.out.println messages in the console.

It is not a fact that I'm not running it in debug mode, because all debugging information is still there. I see that things get focus, etc.

But none of my system.out.println messages are written.

Even with System.out.println ("main entry method"); on the first line of the main method does not appear.

• Bug with an outer join, or & Analytics function (or rownum)

Hello

Seems to be a combination of an outer join, OR and rownum confuses the CBO.

First request is without rownum, the second is with rownum.

The second query expects 203 t lines and never ends. It should behave the same as query 1, with 24 M lines.

Remove the GOLD clause query 2 allows him to behave as a query 1, with 24 M lines.

RowNum in a subquery is supposed to ensure that the subquery is evaluated completely before filtering, otherwise, how could you go out rownum?

Your question is compounded because of the join condition that forces a level of nested loops, which means that the table should be fully analysed once for each line of conduct rowsource. You can either transform the join in an equijoin and allow a hash to run, or you join could materialize the subquery once.

Allow the hash join:

SELECT count (*)

Message FROM

LEFT JOIN (SELECT hi.message_id, hi.update_dt

ROWNUM

OF message_hist salvation) PM ON (i.message_id = h.message_id

AND i.update_dt = h.update_dt)

LEFT JOIN (SELECT hi.message_id, hi.update_dt

ROWNUM

OF message_hist salvation) h2 ON (i.message_id = h2.message_id

AND h2.update_dt<>

AND h2.update_dt <> i.update_dt)

You may need to change the first condition to make sure that you select the correct subquery.

-edit

Not able to view a plan but you can invade the second join condition select and then the result of a subquery with a predicate according to your requirement. This should delay the or rating and leave only an equijoin (although rowsource return may be slightly larger than the opposite).

-Second edition, it did not work exactly when I tried it.
