Live Mail contacts groups
I have Windows Live Mail on Windows 7. I can create groups of contacts, but I can't send a message to my groups. How can I fix it?
Yes. I know exactly what is wrong. AND how to fix it. Had the same problem. The solution is so simple, it will blow your mind.
The fundamental problem is WLM 2012. This problem does not exist with WLM 2011.
Download Windows Live Essentials 2011 (the container that has WLM)
http://g.live.com/1rewlive4-All/en/wlsetup-all.exe
Go to the control panel configuration, uninstall a program, uninstall Windows Live Essentials 2012
Restart your computer
Now start the installation for 2011 you previously downloaded. Uncheck everything except WLM when the opportunity.
Not a thing to be disrupted. Your data and everything exactly intact.
AND the most important groups actually works again.
Let us know how it works for you, if useful click

I can't find how to create a group list rom installed contacts window Live Mail contact.
Recently installed Live mail and as far as I can see there is no place to create a group list to send more than one person at5 e-mail once. I couldn't transfer my list of Outlook 2002 Group to live mail;
Given that you wrote "recently installed Live mail...". ", I assume you meant Windows Live Mail 2011 .
If not, please ignore the following.
If Yes...
Open WLM 2011 > at the bottom left, click the icon that represents Contactsat the top, click on category (category = group) > enter the name of the Group > select contacts who will be in the Group > click Save when done.

Windows Live Mail Contacts section
In the section contacts Windows Live Mail if I drag a contact of 'All the Contacts' in a subfolder how to remove the contact from the 'All Contacts' section while keeping in the subfolder?
The system of contacts in Windows Live Mail does not use the folders or subfolders. What you see are categories, which are more like labels. Learn more about the categories here: what happened to contact groups?

How can I remove "Echo Sound Test Service" my contacts in Windows Live Mail. I have Windows 7 and I don't have a Skype account. I have not add this contact 'remove them' button is grayed. I just spent the last 2 hours trying to remove this contact. It has been very frustrating.
You may not have a Skype account but echo is Skype and Skype can only be deleted. I saw several times and I'm starting to wonder if Microsoft doesn't create Skype accounts for all its accounts of Microsoft. AFAIK, you can't remove echo from anywhere but Skype. I learned to live with it

BlackBerry Smartphones Windows Live Mail contacts
I have my contacts from Windows Live Mail on my BB and they always synchoronized automatically until now, when they seem to have stopped. I could never understand how or when they synchronized, because sometimes he tookd days, and then all of a sudden this happened. Can someone shed light on this situation and tell me how to get my BB to refresh and update my contacts from Windows Live Mail?
Problem solved. I don't know why my contacts stopped syncing, but I uninstalled my hotmail account and then reinstalled and now the synchronization works as it should. As a matter of interest, the checkbox for synchronize completely disappeared during the time, I was unable to synchronize. He is now back and verification.

Windows Live Mail Contacts problem...
Hello...
I could use some help. : )
Background: I installed Windows Live Mail on your laptop Windows 8.1. Apparently somewhere during the process of adding additional e-mail accounts - Gmail account more specifically he asked do you want to include contacts. I said yes! Error! It resulted in each contact showing 2 times on my Windows 7 laptop running Windows Live.
Question: I have now each contact in my list of contacts twice. It says 'address book' under the name and can be edited. The other has no indication, and my best guess is that it's the Gmail account contact.
That's what I see on laptops respective... 1.) 8.1 portable Windows - people shows only 1 time contact. (2.) for laptop Windows 7 - Windows Live shows each 2 times contact
Tried: 1) software, Windows Live has two contacts. 2.), remove all contacts in Gmail, Windows Live still has these two contacts.
I'm at a lost how do I solve this problem... Thanks for your help.
Sandi
I do not believe that your explanation of how this happened is quite accurate. If you add an e-mail account in Windows Live Mail, there is no question of whether contacts should be included - email and contacts are completely separate processes in Windows Live Mail.
If you see contacts in Windows Live Mail, which are not ' of address book ", then you must be signed in to Windows Live Mail with a Microsoft Account (which could be your Gmail account). If this account is connected to Google, Google contacts will eventually synchronize with Windows Live Mail. You cannot change these contacts in Windows Live Mail.
To break the connection, click on the rightmost button on the home Ribbon tab and select view account information. Sign in to your account again, and then click permissions.
1. click on services and applications Manage.
2. click on Edit in the connected Google service you want to remove from your account
3. click on remove this connection completely.
4. click on Remove.Back in Windows Live Mail. Click again on the button to the right and select sign out of Windows Live Mail. Wait a few minutes, and then click New and connect. Check your list of contacts.

How can I edit contacts in windows live mail
Windows Live Mail is supported in this forum

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x 64. I use applications of windows live with the exception of 'family safety' (which is not currently installed).
All applications work well except for Live Mail which freezes when I'm connected and click contacts.
No problem sending, receipt or writing emails. No problem adding contacts to an email (even if I am connected to Live).
Simply, it freezes when I'm connected and click on the option of the application contacts. Or if I am in touch and then sign in to Windows Live.I did a repair of all windows Live products. I also followed another troubleshooting tutorial and changed the name of the folder 'contacts' to allow Live Mail re - sync contacts when I signed up again. None of these worked.
I would prefer not to have to re - install the app altogether if it can be avoided.
Any help is very appreciated!

How to remove Facebook from Windows Live Mail contacts
I know that I tried this issue before and tried every obvious answer which is suggested, you name it I tried it. I also looked at the answers of moderators to others, and none of them suggests anything that I have not tried. I truly believe that the only people who could answer this question is Microsoft, but they want you to pay for them to solve what is their fault. Anyone can confirm I'm fair around Microsoft (bastards of moneygrabbing, is Bill Gates until its last billion) or can someone give me an answer that really works. If you can, I'm sure you'd be the answer to the prayers of all those hundreds of people having the same problem.
What obvious answers? Tried what? Answers to all the moderators? We have no idea what you have done other than a useless mouth. What a waste of prayers when there are more important things in life.
