While trying to install the latest version of live messenger, I get these error codes. I tried all the self-help support pages and the computer will not download and install .NET Framework 4 at all. Live messenger installs all the components, but then restores and gives these error messages, I think it's the part of the writer. I would be grateful for any help that is available.

Qosmio G40 - webcam and windows live messenger
Well I've had this problem before and was solved with the installation of Service Pack 1. Well now it comes back to haunt me again! Windows live messenger does not register the webcam. The cam works and I am registered in the control panel etc. It is only on live messenger it does not...
As described above, I have a Qosmio G40 with Windows Vista Ultimate and windows live messenger.
Live messenger is set to allow phone calls and Messenger live in general - but there is no exceptions for webcam in the Security Panel?
Looks quite simply that the cam is not lit - I have a black screen with static...
Any ideas to fix this?
* Download driver Chicony Webcam drivers from Toshiba Web site section was updated. If you can't find an updated driver, try a new driver of another model of Toshiba.
* Install the Service Pack 1 of Vista, or Vista Hotfix KB934374: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/934374 (KB934374 is included in SP1)
* Update your e-mail software (MSN/Yahoo Messenger, etc...)
* If you have another program that can use the webcam (e.g. Skype), make sure that they are completely closed and not, sitting in the system tray.
* Try to close the bar Assistant camera on the left side of the office.
* To stop the Camera Assistant software from running at startup, run Regedit and delete HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Camera Assistant Software". -
Satellite A100: webcam works does not for windows live messenger on Vista
I recently lost my picture when working for video calls in windows live messenger, the sound of two ways and I can see them, but no one can see me.
I also bought an external webcam, and it does not work either. When I go to Device Manager it says that the two cams don't work properly.
I tried to update the drivers but they are up-to-date.
I wonder if it's a problem of Windows live or Toshiba.
I use Windows Vista Home Premium and the new version of messenger.> I also bought an external webcam and it doesn t work either.
> When I go to Device Manager it says that the two cams don't work properlyFor me, it looks like a windows system problem.
Usually two webcams operate independently from each other and so I don t think that it is a webcam driver problem I think that it s windows or windows live messenger problem
Maybe something confused keys registry or files may be some updates to update or similarIn your case, I recommend you to uninstall the software of webcam software, internal external webcam and the windows live messenger.
Then, you must clean the BONES and the registry tool like CCLeaner cleaning, for example. It the free tool. After this, reinstall the Chicony webcam software and test functionality without installation of windows live messenger.
If the webcam will be functions then you could install the windows live messenger again. -
Satellite A300 - built-in Chicony webcam does not work with Win Live Messenger
Hello
I just bought a * Satellite A300-1MC * (works on Vista Home Premium) and downloaded Windows Live Mail and Live Messenger.
The integrated webcam does not work with Live Messenger; and when you select the tool, Audi + Vieo Setup in Messenger I get thye following message: "we are unable to launch the Audi video installation.
The webcam works fine with the Camera Assistant Software.I tried: 1) killing the AC software and from Messenger. (2) dowanloading one driver webcam Toshiba Web site; (3) update of Windows Vista
None of the above works.
Any suggestion received with joy...
ThomasYou can try to install the CAM such as ManyCams software - http://www.manycam.com/

Installing Windows Live Messenger problem (hr:0x8104000d)
Hello world
Yesterday I installed my Windows 7 Home Premium OS using the costum install because I wanted to whipe clean my Dell Inspiron 1440 laptop. And everything works so far, except that I can't install Windows Live Messenger.I tried to download the installer from explore.live.com essentials, microsoft.com and by using the Windows Update, but it does not install. I looked and tried to run the Windows Live installer about 6 times. And it's always the same thing. About 98% is to install the Windows Live Call, and when it reaches 100%, it cancels.
I also tried to download the Msn Messenger 7.0 and tries to update the software. For the record, I can't even use the Msn Messenger 7.0 because it says I need to update. And I can't update it because apparently I am not connected to .NET Messenger Service. I tried to test the connection, and it has failed due to an error of invalid character script. After that, I checked the advanced settings and ran tests; My TCP and HTTP Proxy connection works.
I am currently using Kaspersky Internet Security and I even checked to see if the firewall was blocking it, but the installation of Windows Live is considered a trusted software. I even tried to disable my firewall to see if it makes a difference. No luck so far.
The error that says:
Check that you are connected to the Internet. You cannot download Windows Live programs unless you are connected to the Internet. HR:0x8104000dI honestly do not understand. I am currently connected through a LAN network with an ethernet cable, but I also tried to unplug and connect to the internet via the WAN.
The only cause of this problem that comes to mind, it is that I had to uninstall the Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility utility before I could uninstall Windows 7. But I have already run all Windows updates. Not that it makes all the difference because I was already connected to the internet.
Any ideas on how to fix it?
UH well Windows Vista OS came with my laptop and I have improved with the installation of costum (new installation) to set up my Windows 7 operating system. If everything has been wiped clean. Obviously for this reason that I don't have windows live messenger installed. If I had simply updated the operating system, all my files are remained intact. My Windows 7 operating system is 64-bit, and yes it is compatible with my computer. As I said above, everything else seems to work.
As for Kaspersky Internet Security, it is supported by Win7 64 bit.
Reference: http://usa.kaspersky.com/products_services/internet-security.php?icid=50000028A Norton Internet Security trial came pre-installed with my laptop, but I removed this month there are using a Norton removal tool. Not that it matters now, since I wiped clean my drive hard when I installed Windows 7.
And as for the older versions of Windows Live Messenger, I think I mentioned on my first thread I knew that they did not work. Still, trying to update an older version seemed to be a good idea since I kept not install it. However, which also did not work.
Anyway, thanks for clarifying your first answer. I'll post this same thread on the discussion Forum to see if anyone there can inspire some light in my situation.
