Live, offline Mail

I had this problem before; thought I had fixed it, but it came back.

When I try to access Windows Live Mail (receipt of the check box), I get a box that says: I work in offline mode and I want to work online. I say yes, and he repeats two times, until something happens, and then maybe nothing happens. Later the mail comes, but it is a real PITA!
And, of course, I didn't guard "fix", because I do not think that it would happen again.

    Unfortunately, this feature is not available in Windows Live Mail.

    While Windows Live Mail is the successor to Outlook Express on Windows XP and Windows Mail on Windows Vista, there are several differences in features between Windows Live Mail and Windows Mail / Outlook Express when it is released in 2007. It is:

    • Ability to view and edit the source HTML email has been removed in Windows Live Mail
    • Ability to set margins has been removed
    • Scripted stationery for Windows Live Mail 2011 is available at Cloudeight stationery
    • Locally installed help documentation is not available for Windows Live Mail
    • The feature ID is not available in Windows Live Mail

    Make a right click No matter what email and click "Add sender to contacts" is a way.  Another way is to click on the Contacts icon in the lower left corner of the WLM and add it manually.

  • Outgoing offline mail server

    I can't send an email and when I try this, it goes into the Outbox.  Also, I got an error message:

    Cannot send Mail, the operation could not be completed. (MCMailErrorDomain error 1032.) When I go to the email preferences under account information, the server of outgoing (SMTP) mail shows Centurylong (offline).  Any ideas how to remedy this situation and be able to send mail again.  iCloud mail are not sent or the other (same as above e-mail server).

    Earlier, before all that happened, a message popped up on my home screen to enter my password of Qwest system preferences/accounts.  I did, but nothing happened.

    Essentially, when you start the game on your PC, it will ask you to connect or create a Windows Live account, so you can communicate with your friends, save games, etc. for this game. However, some do not have access to the internet or do not have an online account, so the game lets create you an offline account, then you can play the game, but you will not have access to the features that Windows Live offers.

    How can I create an offline windows live account? Im not able to play GTA IV and Arkham asylum, I see no link to make windows live account, when the game starts. They throw me only an error saying that I do not have a real account, I won't be able to save game progress... They are true, I lost 4 hours of game Arkham and the pregress has not been saved... :(

    You can go ahead and create the account Windows Live to play GTA IV and Arkham Asylum game these games require an account Windows Live to play the same.

  • Is there a way to convert Windows Live e-mail and files folders in Outlook Express format?

    I made the mistake (severe) a few years previously to install Windows Live Mail and Outlook Express abandonment on my Windows XP computer.  Now, I would run parallel iMAC and Windows messaging systems and e-mail iMAC tool does not recognize Windows Live Mail as mbox files. Therefore, I can't import Windows Live Mail in the iMAC email tool.  To add insult to injury, Microsoft Outlook email tool on the iMAC is import the Windows Live mail.  (No use asking, I guess, why Microsoft would enact incompatible messaging formats without integrating converters through the indexing schemes).  In short, is it possible to return to Outlook Express?
