Hello everyone, I'll try to be as accurate as possible, I'm sorry, until find us this first situation first, screenshots will have to wait.

I made the turn on the merry-go-round of configuration e-mail for more than a few hours now and I can't understand what could possibly impede this simple installation procedure. I forget something obvious ridiculously here?

Hooked up to a B - Berry Curve 9300 by Koodoo Mobile here in Canada a few days ago.

The package includes 2 GB of data, a text access and calling the package with visual voicemail.

Everything seems to work normally, I mean, I go to Configuration > email accounts (there is a short break, the software checks the updates), and then I get to the email settings window where you can choose among different messaging clients (Gmail, Yahoo!, AOL, Windows Live...)

By clicking on Windows Live, this opens up a submenu (@hotmail.com, @msn.com, @live.com)

I have scroll and select @hotmail.com enter my address complete email and password - hit continue and I get the error message "failed to update".

I have BES activated/installed or do I need to download a book service?

Do I need to adjust mobile settings in Windows Live?

Should I throw my curve of B-Berry under a bus and hope for the best?

On that last note, but what gives a joke? Any help appreciated and thanks in advance to all contributors.

I could not find all the answers on this forum about the error message that I received everything trying to implement my client WindowsLive Mail.

A quick call to Koodo Mobile quickly solved the problem. The technician would however not specify the cause of the problem. I know that Service books were broadcast on my device, as we had to check that the device has been registered on the network by means of access to the host Routing Table (Options > Search Bar > type in host , and then scroll down to select the host Routing Table - use the Menu key to save) and then I turned off the BB Curve 9300 removed the battery for 30 seconds and then reinstalled the battery allowing the machine to start.

    Everything works perfectly now.

You can reach Customer Service at 1-866-99-KOODO (1-866-995-6636).

Hope that this help anyone having similar problems with their BB Curve 9300.

    Hello

    1. what version of Windows is installed on your computer?

    2. have you made any recent hardware or exchange of software on your computer before this problem?

As you use Windows Photo Viewer, copy the images to your computer and then try to view the images.

    Hello

You don't tell us the account provider. Hotmail, Windows Live Mail, Yahoo or so on--just the provider
After the @ sign and no e-mail address full which responds automatically to blocks.

You must contact the mail provider, because we cannot help regardless of the provider.

Here is some info that might help:

  • Cannot access account livemail

Today, after installing a windows update, I can not on my account of livemail.  I tried to re set up, but I don't know the reception and sending of accounts for y7mail

    Hi, Rosemary,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    a. what version of Windows Live Mail is installed in the system?

    b. you get an error message during indexing to your Windows Live Mail account?

    c. do you mean the incoming mail and outgoing server for yahoo mail settings, when you say, "I don't know the reception and sending of accounts for y7mail?

If I understand you correctly, you try to reconfigure the Window Live Mail domain for your ymail (or yahoomail). Yahoo Mail offers a standard POP3 access for receiving incoming emails in your Inbox Yahoo mailbox, using your favorite email client software (Windows Live Mail, in your case). To configure your e-mail client to use your Yahoo account, you must select the POP3 Protocol and use the settings server of mail at the following address:

    • Yahoo Mail Server incoming (POP3) - pop.mail.yahoo.com (SSL enabled, port 465)
    • Yahoo mail server outgoing (SMTP) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com (SSL enabled, port 995)

To learn more about how to add an account in Windows Live Mail account, read the following article and check if it helps.

How can I add an account to Windows Live Mail?
