  I ran into a problem of the incorporation of police where all the text fields with embedded police disappear when the SWF file is loaded as a child into a parent SWF. When the SWF file is read directly as stand-alone or inside a container of page HTML, text fields display perfectly with embedded fonts. Just not if the SWF is loaded into another SWF. It's basically the way I joined the police:

  Independent of how this feature works, you want to have your photos in one place and have a backup (second copy) somewhere else. All hard drives will not be successful at some point - some more early, some late - never trust to have your files in any safety devices if they are on a single disc. Once you have your sorted, it would be useful that you will organize/name/tag new photos immediately if the task is relatively short and simple. I copy my photos on my internal hard drive for my camera, take a quick look with preview to see who needs some changes and then decide where to put them - either drop them immediately after naming them or bring in an editing application and then file them away.

  The internal memory of the Dash device is not accessible to the user. Therefore, pictures and music files cannot be uploaded to the internal memory of the dashboard.

  However, the USB port on the Dash unit allows you to view photos or listen to music stored on a USB key.

  Please try to check the rendering under Edit menu options > Preferences > Page Display.

  Check if in smooth text field "for computer/laptop LCD screens" is selected.

  There are two possibilities, depending on what type of SWF you load. If you load a SWF9, then check on ApplicationDomain. If you load SWF8 or earlier, then read this technical note:

    I loaded "Sub.swf" in "Home.swf" via an empty movieclip.
    
    In "Sub.swf", I have some links that, when clicked call getURL and open an HTML page in the browser.
    
    But for some reason any the getURL does not work and I think its because the getURL is called from a movie loaded into "Home.swf".
    
    I tried to change the actionscript code for:
    
    _root.getURL('/MyPage.html');
    _parent.getURL('/MyPage.html');
    
    but neither (_root / _parent) seems to work?
    
    Need some help here please.

  It is not the getURL that's the problem. It's your _level0.imgMC.MC5 that is the problem.
