  If you want thumbnails to display in your library, you can do the following:

  1. click on the "Start" button, type options files and click on the link 'Options folders' that appears.

  2. when several tabs 'Folder Options' dialog box is displayed, click the "View" tab

  3 always check "show icons, never thumbnails" to disable the generation of thumbnails. Clear this check box to enable the generation of thumbnails.

  4. click 'OK' to close the dialog box.

  Please check if you get a symbol of locking for images icons in windows Explorer.

  Try to restore Photoshop preferences to default.

  Steps to follow:

  To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

• Resizing action is not resize images

  Hello

  I have a lot of images I would like to reduce.  I keep to the creation of a new action in Photoshop, but it is not working properly.

  Here's what I do:

  Create new action in Photoshop

  Image1 open directory (image is 3000 x 3000)

  Resize to 1500 x 1500

  Save

  Close image

  End action

  When I run the batch I have choose this action, specify start and destination files, and then run it.  I tried this time as 'save' the original image and 'Save for web' in a new directory.  With these two technical, I get the same end result, the lot seems fine, but when I put my cursor on the images, its properties always display as 3000 x 3000.  The lot ran, but the images are not a new size.

  Do not save the "Open the file" action step

  As the same file will be processed.

  Folder options / tab / files and folders / uncheck

  I have a Dell V305 scanner, and I would like to convert images to PDF without running the OCR software.  Is this possible?  When I try to convert an image to PDF, it gives me an error "OCR program missing.   My CD drive is broken so I can't install the OCR from the CD software.  I looked for a download from Dell, but could not find one.   Can you suggest a solution?  Thank you very much

  I never tried to convert images into PDF without OCR. But I've only tried to convert PDFS into images using some PDF conversion tools. I wonder if there is some pluins can thus help with that? You can google it and give it a try. I wish you success. Good luck.

  This really isn't a problem, it's just an annoyance for me when my daughter and I play flash games online-based.  I just got a HP Pavilion while a touchscreen.  So far, everything is ok with it, but this question:

  First post on this forum!

  My quick launch icons are still important, even though I have a right click, properties, "use small icons" selected. Also tried with a costom toolbar. It worked in the past, but when I rebooted, I lost the custom bar, and when I added it again, the icons were large.

  Icons of tasks active resizing correctly with the above option, but the toolbars and the Quick Launch toolbar remain the same, great.

  Any ideas?

• Taskbar Windows 7 will not display images

  Recently I had to reboot my laptop to an earlier date. When I did I noticed that my taskbar of Windows 7 Home Premium are not clear, does not show an image on the page when wriggling on the task and in the corner of the Office is not erased when twitch on the lower right. It looks like an old for windows but when I check my system it still says Windows 7. I tried right click and find real estate for the taskbar, but nothing has done that before. Those are the only things now that I see has changed on my HP laptop. Any suggestions? I also check "aleo" but who appeared no problem.

  Another thing to check,

  Right-click on your desktop and select Customize,

  Make sure first that your still using a theme win 7 aero, if so,

  Click the Windows colors on the Middle bottom.

  Check the box to enable transparency, record.

• ERROR CODE 604, will not import images after the recent upgrade from trial version free of subscription.

  HI, I'm getting an error code 604 when I try to import images, it comes up with the following message, some import operations were not made, the following files were not imported because they could be read... items 1-100 etc.

  Hi thank you 99jon, you're perfectly right, it's to do with permissions and thanks for putting me on the right track to fix, the destination had for some strange reason changed during the upgrade, so raw files went to a file on the hard drive which has permissions rather than the images where he used to go (until the upgrade).  If anyone has this error code 604, please look to see where the images are current, is not always easy to say right away, I saw he entered the hard drive and initially assumed that it would go into pictures where it is before the upgrade, it would be useful that adobe has this error code with an explanation of what this means on their list of troubleshooting , but could not find any information anywhere.  It caused me a lot of delays with hundreds of images that I work on different maturities, but thank God its fixed, very happy
