  ODI (9.3.1.1) can load data into the planning and REPLACE the existing data?
  Currently of our ODI by "ADD" load to existing data data - so that is I accidentally run the load twice, it would be double planning numbers. I don't know how to do it to REPLACE so that running more than twice has no effect.

  With the help of the essbase adapter you would use a rule of load, in the State of charge, you can set whether to replace or add to existing values. It is not difficult to pass.

• How to load data into the planning your application through FDMEE of Multicurrecny?

  Hi all

  I am new to FDMEE, I got hit with the loading of data, here's my problem,

  My application is the application of multicurrency with USD as the currency of presentation and a few more currencies like GBP, etc. INR currency basis to individual entities. The requirement is to load real historical data in application of planning in local currencies and in USD.

  I have a data file for USD. However, I have several files for local currencies, all data files will be in the same format. When I tried to load with the configuration under configuration of integration in location of given functional currency as USD and the data value as USD , but still only "Local" data loading, when I checked the recovery of data in Smart mode by keeping the dimension currency in Page and selecting USD, it shows no data , but if I choose Local it retrieves data!  Is it possible to load data from both local USD currency?

  Any help on this is much appreciated, thanks in advance.

  Now, I managed to load time USD (presentation currency) and Local (different base for the entity currency). Before that I did not forget the currency (USD / Local) in the functional currency of the location field.

  Ive just started using ODI 11 g. While I was trying to load the metadata in the planning application, I got an error copied below. At first strange thing, when I created a new interface, the staging area are diff of target option was grayed. only after that I did the maps, I could come back and and activate this option. Was it a change in functionality or something wrong on my part.
  I tried to use two motors SUNOPSIS and planning scheme, nothing has worked, the two were throwing the same error. IAM, load data from a csv file (the same who worked in the 10g version)

• Data Synchronizer do not load data into the target application

  I am facing problem when I try to synchronize data between two applications EPMA (BSO). When I set the synchronization initiates the process and it gives the status as "xxxx" none of the documents sent to the destination server. But after that, the process hangs at 50% and no data is filled to the destination application. Please help me solve this problem.

• Loading the data into the planning

  I'm a little confused how loading data in the planning of the work of the application. I have created the new application of planning with the Application Wizard, created the database, etc.. Then, after documentation (the administrator Planning Guide), I loaded the metadata using contour loading utility (OutlineLoad). Now I want to load the data. Following a few steps from ducumentation I add DIRECT_DATA_LOAD = False parameter (there is no front) and the DATA_LOAD_FILE_PATH parameter points to a directory on the server (I tried creating the empty file and DATA_LOAD_FILE_PATH the value piont this file). After saving configuration and restart the schedule I used Adminsitation to load data to choose the size of data loading, Driver-Dimension, I recorded it and then... no new files in the DATA_LOAD_FILE_PATH catalog has been created. What I am doing wrong?

  1. on the server of Essbase, put in place a system odbc for your MySQL database connection
  2. in the State of charge, go to the file menu and select open source SQL database and in the source of data in your SQL statement. A few tips.   Is it possible to reuse the functionality of loading data from the Dataworkshop inside an application.   When you created the DSN for the spreed excel worksheet you dot not uncheck the read-only box.
  Make sure that the read-only checkbox is not checked, otherwise you will get an error message when trying to insert data into the Excel worksheet (error: "[Microsoft] [ODBC Excel Driver] operation must use an update query.").
