  Hi Folks, I'm building a site with a lot of mc at different depths and am using just code to load a picture from an external source without using_root of commands in one of the mc, it works fine when I test Flash, image loading well etc... but if I test it in a browser the image does not load. In fact if I just export the movie and play my desktop image does not load. It drives me crazy and I spent hours trying to solve this problem with no joy. The one you have ideas?   I want to achieve the below:

  load swf files stored in a table based on what setting is selected in the xml file. It may be different combinations.

  To explain in brief. I have 4 Bay basic Introduction, demo, presentation and training. The user can select any combination of them as training Introduction or overview demo or Introduction + demo + preview, or all four, or it can be one of them.

  These files must always play in the sequence as these Introduction, presentation, demonstration, training. If the user selects Introduction + demo. Intro should play first and then demo. If the demonstration and training are selected demo should come before training and so on.

  I am able to load files and play as well using the above function. But if there is more then a file in a table says for example in training it does not load and play. I tried to use the String.split divide into different files by using commas, but it does not work. Another question, I have faced is that the files do not play sequentally.

  If, for example, demo and training are selected by the user training is played first, then demo.

  Would be useful for me someone to guide me on this.

  Regarding reading in order going, we could approach is to have a table that lists the toppics in their correct order and then use it to compare what the user has selected and build another array to contain the play sequence.  Go you through the table ordered in the order and see if the selection of the user table contains each element.  When this happens, then you add an item in the game board.

• iTunes app does not load movie page

  This behavior started recently.  Every day I open the iTunes on my iPad app 4th gen (running iOS 9.3.2) and tap the icon of movies down to check what movie is on sale (for the promotion of July).  Usually, it does not load.  It sits right there spinning and say "Loading"... ».  I waited 5 minutes and it does not load.

  All other updated pages at the point.  If I let the music before page load I loss of movies and then hit movies, it just displays the page of the music with a black background instead of a white one.

  My current 9.3.2 iPhone has the same problem.  Yes, I killed the iTunes apps and restarted the devices without a bit of luck.

  Free cell is a game quite harmless, distributed with the first implementations of win32s 20 years ago, it worked for me on OS/2, windows 2000, and windows 7.  If this does not work for you under Vista something else on your box is not as it should be: maybe you have too many services and applications currently running, or another point of view, not enough RAM for all that you do.

  You can use the Task Manager (ctrl + alt + delete) to figure out what else is going on, or try the Sysinternals process Explorer for this purpose.  The objective would be to identify some services/processes running using lots of resources (time CPU and RAM) and remove the image while you do not really have to them.  You can use Sysinternals autoruns or msconfig.exe to disable questionable things.

• Implementation in mosaic of images and animations

  Hello!

  Let me start by saying that I am a novice at web site design. I have a little bit of experience in the development of web pages with a very basic (and very limited) understanding of HTML and CSS. I dabbled slightly with programming in general, but I don't have any deep knowledge or experience. I'm an Illustrator and animator, who needs to rebuild a website from the ground up, but I don't want to take shortcuts. I would like to learn how to properly develop my site in Dreamweaver.

  I started the study, research and practice to bring together basic pages. I wrote some wireframes and have an idea General of what will be the content of each page. What I would like to ask the community, it is a guidance and advice to help me achieve a particular goal. Below is a picture to help explain what I'm aiming towards, followed by an explanation.

  

  The image above is one of several pages that I aim to create. Not all pages like this, but I chose to develop this one first because it is likely to be the most complicated page, that's why I would like to address it head on to help me learn.

  The basic idea is to have a background in mosaic with animated content that is placed on the mosaic model. Ideally, I would implement several sprites tiled in order to keep the scheme being too repetitive, but for now I'll keep it simple and one image of tiles. Animation assets will probably be gifs, unless someone wishes to suggest an alternative solution. To clarify, the active animation will be frame by frame traditionally animated content that will match the positioning of the different tiles. Animations will also have transparency and would ideally lead to different eras. I usually animate in After Effects and Photoshop, but I'll happily lead in something else (like CC animate or Edge animate) if he will provide me with the proper tools and solutions.

  If I had to get more advanced, I would include an element of interactivity. Something in the sense of having the animation assets change or make an animation based on the mouse position. But for now I don't know of the term. I like to keep things relatively simple because my experience is limited.

  What I'm asking, is any guidance or advice that may be useful for helping me achieve my goal of completing that single page. I hope that by creating this page, I will learn a lot of things on the way and making solid progress towards power complete the site as a whole. Whatever it is would help, because I'm not sure of what would be the best methodology to use in this situation.

  Don't apologize for the lack of conciseness, with things the more information the better.

  A lively cc file won't work properly, you want to use a number of animations and later to provide interactivity (this would work for 1 or 2 however), but the random positioning is a major problem.

  First of all, let me tell you that it is possible, however, (you knew this was coming didn't you) with knowledge only beginners html/css and no knowledge of javascript, you have a major problem. No matter what method you use, interactivity is virtually impossible without an advanced understanding of css and javascript.

  According to your animation, you can use an animated gif, or to animate a simple number of animations css sprites, this positioning randomly will require javascript, html/css has no post random number generator / integrated in the plug.

  HTML is essentially static with no built-in method to place or move anything in the html code, (it may not even submit a form for you). We have to move something in a position given in the browser viewport using css and change this position javascript.

  My advice would be to become reasonably proficient with the use of css animations, before going any further. Although when first met by many, css animations can seem complexed, is not, and this is probably your best option to start, once you have made your first animation based on this film becomes much simpler. I would recommend if extensive testing as animations more you have the less sensitive you page becomes whole.

  Another possibility is to use svg and animate it, but that would require a good knowledge of javascript.

• Problem with the sounds and animations working together...

  Hi all

  I learned how to use Adobe InDesign recently (as in...) Today).  I adapt well to the format after only a few hundred moments of pulling hair.  I create an interactive document and there is a place where I want an animation and sound to play at the same time when you hover over this task.  I figured out how to add a button to the region and I used that to the sound.  Then I discovered that I could add an animation to the button as well.  However, when the button is hovered over, the sound is played, and then, once it's done, the animation occurs.  I discovered that if I put first animation online, then the opposite is true.  I get the animation, then the sound.  I need them to play at the same time as the sound IS the sound effect for the animation.  SOOOO... I tried to put the two buttons, two of them wired to turn off when you move the cursor over them, but that didn't work.  All I get is any button is on top.  They are not both work with a hover.  Is there a way to make the sound and animation to play together, in the sink with the other?

  You will see your animation and sound in the distribution panel. Shift-click to activate both and click play together on the bottom of the Panel.

• Loading movies with AS3

  I'm trying to understand how works AS3 than AS2 when using the navigation buttons to load external .swf files.

  In AS2, I have 5 menu buttons. Each button contained a script to load an external .swf file into layer 2 (on top of my existing film). It also contains a line of code to unload a movie that was already in layer 2. This way new movies arrived head and are easy to identify when it came time for them to be discharged.

  Now in AS3, I can't find a similar way to work with external movies, since there is no more layers. I create a movieLoader and add a child so it loads my external .swf - that works very well.

  But how can I say each button to remove all children already exist before loading the new child? The way it works now, the movies just keep stilts above the other whenever I click on a button.

  Here is the code that I put with each key, activated by a mouse event listener. "requested_movie_name" would be different for each button.

  You do not need to identify what film to unload, a charger can contain only a single child display both object.  To unload the loader for the code you showed that you would simply use...

  movieLoader.unload ();

  Because you load swf files, you should look through the help documentation for the Loader class and the unload method because it has a few special remarks that might help your scenario.

When I insert this movie into another movie using the LoadMovieNum or component loading, I can is more compressed between the fields. I tried to set the tabIndex nothing helps.
