  Probably, I feel a bit stupid when I learn the answer, but here goes!

  Since the purchase of a new computer laptop on Vista, I find that a lot of web pages load with the little red cross in a square instead of the images. This only seems to happen with XP.

  Could someone tell me which of many safety features in Vista I should turn off to see these images?

  Ã * s problem: it could be everything about software.
  So, try these things like turn off the windows firewall and use a replacement or change some settings in your IE Explorer.
  A good choice would be to try to "Mozilla Firefox" (http://www.mozilla-europe.org) and be happy if it´s works perfectly.

  What browser do you use?  Try another one.

  Try to clean your temporary Internet files, Cookies, etc.

  When loading to the top of any Web site, I'm also greeted by a white box that covers most of the screen with an X at the top right, as if it were an advertisement, but it is just white. What happens on all pages for example Amazon, Youtube, Facebook. At first, I thought that it was a virus but Avast does not detect any threat, also I tried to restore my laptop to an earlier date and it still occurs.   While searching for the unauthorized software, do not neglect your Firefox Add-ons as a potential culprit. Some extensions may sneak in unnoticed. You can check and (if useless or unrecognized) disable them here:

  Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

• How to have a background image transparent web page to the browser

  I used a color gradient background image on my scene for my Web site.

  Managed to load the same background on the background of the browser.

  However, the result is not satisfactory that I can see the limits of background image site against the background of the browser.

  You can try to remove the background image on the Flash file, and then will the WMODE = transparent route.

  In Internet Explorer, you can go to Tools/Internet Options / Advanced tab / multimedia scroll down / uncheck the display image. This will prevent most of the loading images in Web pages. Is it possible to do this in Firefox?

• Why Firefox seems to zoom the web pages by default?

  To set your zoom level by default than that specified by the stylesheet to the site, you usually have an add-on. For example, there is a named Default FullZoom Level and one other named NoSquint with this feature. You have either of those installed?

  If you have not already tried disabling use Firefox hardware accelerated graphics, go ahead and try that as well.

  You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

  Uncheck the "use hardware acceleration when available.

  If you restart Firefox, is improved clarity?

  Under Windows, you can set compatibility modes dimension screen in your Firefox shortcut, and that everything will appear larger. I don't know if this same concept applies to the Mac.

  I want to display a web page (tab on the display Image or Web Page Options).

  I created the web page and step and it works, but the dialog is great.  There is plenty of space dead around him.  Is there a way to control (via the software), the size of the dialog box.

  Unfortunately, I believe that those are hard coded in the msgbox.dll.  You have the source code and could rebuild if you have the CVI.  The variable to look for is called STD_MARGIN in the file msgbox.c. I could not find a way through the API to change this.

• My web page uses svg images, but when the svg is printed by Firefox they are pixelated with bad resolution.

  I realized a web page that uses svg images. One of them is here:

  The svg is produced by Adobe Illustrator, CS5 version. Seen in any browser, the images look good at any magnification, but when I print the page in Firefox, the image is blurry seriously, apparently because that pixelation uses the wrong resolution.

  The same phenomenon occurs in all browsers, not quite as bad in Chrome, but still not perfect.

  Do you have plans to fix this bug, or do you have a work around?

  For some weird reason, some Web pages that I have access that do not have images or GIF files on load on Firefox in the form of empty GIF images which means I can't access the Web page that I chose to go.

  Some firewalls like Kaspersky can block content and send a GIF 1 x 1 instead.
  Kaspersky: Protection > firewall > Filtration System: disable the banner "Ad Blocker".

  Jscher200... you rock! Real Player was the problem. I've uninstalled it. I'm not taking any chances for the part of the application on my system, and my Flash Slide show works perfectly well. I was running down the wrong alley because I assume a relationship between the snap of him "to prevent additional pages of execution of dialog boxes" and the absence of images via the Flash Player.   Just got the Microsoftstore today and the picture quality is not good at all, photos and text are blurry on the web pages.   Verification on a site I built two years ago, I noticed that the png header does not load. Instead, I can see the last web page that I was reviewing, as if the header area is an invisible window. Site is OK in Safari, and OK on another Mac, just not mine.

  Seems to be well here on Linux.
  
  I saw the problems reported on Mac with (background) images in black (#000000) causing problems.

  Our family has a computer which is now 18 months old that it was loaded with Windows vista, again and we use Windows seven and Google as our browser. We have three users set up for my son and my wife who is the admin on the system by password.

  The button images and some pages are not displayed correctly the web they have a Red Cross in it if you hover over some of the buttons they invented the text boxes and work, but not all.

  However my wife who is the administrator has no meanings and we have removed all administrator rights, but the problem is still there for me and my son.

  Your help on this issue would be grately appreciated because he drives me crazy.
