  LR is not a file Explorer. He knows only the disks that you imported photos of.

  If you have previously imported these photos, then later moved into the external hard drive, go to the library files and "update location" Panel on the files that you moved.

  If you have never imported these images on the external hard drive, perform an import by using the option 'Add' (not ' copy') to keep the images on the external hard drive during import.

  By habit, I tend to combine PDF files in the Page pane by right-clicking thumbnails then 'Insert of Pages'-> 'From File'. For me, this preserves the tags of these two documents, although the tags may have to be moved to the correct location (if I remember correctly the tags for inserted pages are put at the end of the tag structure, regardless of where the pages are inserted), if I put the tags in the document to insert into a container as a Section tag It makes the process easier.   Why can't click a picture in the mail app and have it launch a photo viewing application. ?

  What you need to do is to go to control panel > programs > by default of the programs > set your default programs. Or search for programs by default, which must raise I have right as well (just start typing on the splash screen or slide from left to right and click on the search button).   I actually understand it. Not the best user friendly system. Where as before (CS5), I just had to go to crop tool and choose the dimensions and the inches now it in the window. Just really complicated for nothing.

  On what computer operating system is your first items 13 running? And you have updated 13 to 13.1 still using Help Menu/implementation of an open project? If this isn't the case, please consider this.

  Now to your question immediately.

  I would consider placing your files for organizing items (person, place or event) in albums that you create in the organizer of items for each. Then,

  (a) the content of the album of the opening of the first elements add multimedia/Organizer.

  or

  (b) by selecting your album in the elements Organizer, select the photos in the album you want, then right click anywhere in a selection and Edit with Premiere elements editor selection?
