• InDesign, asking the location of the embedded files

  I joined two links in an InDesign document until I sent them another designer, so I only send a file and not 3. However, the designer has called to tell InDesign was him asking to locate the embedded files or something, and he just couldn't work with the document.   Why not just send the 3 files. The incorporation of files is more or less the same thing. I don't think that you save on space or anything by doing this, well not much anyway. Just 3 zip files and send the zip file. Same thing.

  I'm in developer mode BB10, I set up my new box with everything.

• Configuration of the SDK software problem

  When installing Flex Builder 3 beta, I installed the SDK in a location not standard (it is the same for the already installed 2.0.1 SDK of Flex Builder 2). Flex Builder 3 is none of them. When I try to manually add (Window-> Preferences-> Flex-> installed Flex SDKS), I get an error message "the page contains invalid values". In Flex Builder 2, the location of the SDK has been configured in < file eclipse > / configuration/com.adobe.flexbuilder/flexbuilder2.xml, Flex Builder 3 does not have this configuration file, so I guess that it relies on a standard location for the SDK.
  -Are there of the workaround to get there (to add software development kits custom)?
  -What is the location of the standard installation of the SDK?

  Hi Peter,.

  A few questions:
  -have you installed the Standalone or Plugin of FB 3 version?
  -have you tried to uninstall and then re - install, either to a location standard or standard?

  It is important not to move the location of the SDKs folder tree by default once it is installed, FB is configured by the installer to find that tree and use it as its default global values. You can add your own additional copies of the SDK, in addition to the global default paths, but as if this works only if the default global paths are intact (juicy bug there).

  You can try another miracle solution is changing the file plugins/com.adobe.flexbuilder.flex_*/config.xml, to fix the overall paths which were disconnected on your system.

  OK, the migration can be done via Flash Pro because it requires access complation of command line. But this can be done easily. I hope that your operating system is Windows? ()) Because I don't use a Mac.

  ADT-migrate - stores pkcs12 - keystore cert.p12 myApp.air myAppIn.air

  This string can be performed easily.

  (1) locate your Adobe Air SDK and copy the path to the Clipboard.

  (2) create the folder somewhere and put your original.air

  (3) create the Migrate.txt file

  (4) type in:

  'C:\Program Files\Adobe\Air Flash Runtimes\4.0.0.1390\bin\adt.bat' - migrate - pkcs12 - keystore cert.p12 original.air update.air stores

  
  Change to full path to your Air SDK location. For example, it can be like:

  "C:\AdobeAirSDK\bin\adt.bat" - migrate - pkcs12 - keystore cert.p12 original.air update.air stores

  (5) rename Migrate.txt in Migrate.bat and run it. ADT may request your pass certificate. Enter it and press ENTER.

  I never make migration because I use only Embeded with *.exe internal distribution. But using the link you provide - you can do it yourself. Just change everythere adt to your other "C:\AdobeAirSDK\bin\adt.bat" your location of the sdk.

  But I always use ADT command-line

• Smart Array P440ar: ProLiant DL380 g9 &amp; controller Smart Array boot order

  Work on a server of gen9 ProLiant DL380 (SFF) with an of P440ar (version 3.00) at location 0 (embedded RAID) and a controller (version 2.52) P840 to location 1. I have the P440ar connected to the risers on the front of the system, and I'm starting off the P840 6.5 RHEL. If no hard drive is attached to the P440ar, it works, but if all the disks are connected to the P440ar, the boot device is not found. I tried to change the order of boot in RSBU controller, but the P440ar was the ONLY listed controller. I didn't even have an option to change the P840.

  Am I allowed to configure the system in this way?

  After fighting with it for several days, I deleted the system P840 and started with just the P440ar. Then I added the P840 in the system and restarting, the system automatically added the P840 to startup controller command list. Works fine now.

  I tried to trace an Air application on Android devices using logcat (on a PC of Windows 10). Logcat shows a lot of output, but Nothing of my application. I 'allowed debugging"checked in the settings of publication. Something else I might have missed?

  My apologies to take a long time to get back to you. I just moved into a new State, and it took some time to settle. I followed the instructions and made some conjectures from the link that you provided, and I could see the tracing instructions in LogCat, as well as within Flash with Android app running on a real device. My steps:

  (1) creates a new AIR Android app

  (2) added a setInterval() who shot every 2 seconds with a callback function that simply contains an action trace ("Hello World").

  3) changed the "Android deployment type" to "Debug". This form can be found under the tab "Deployment" of the 'AIR for Android Settings '. This causes the app to always want to connect to an IP address that can be debugged, whenever you launch the application. You use it to debug the application in Flash using the debug-> menu option to start a remote debugging Session.

  (4) publishes the application on a device

  (5) open command line and 'CD' in the 'Bad' file located under (AIR SDK folder)-> lib-> android-> bin

  (6) in the command line, type: adb logcat air. MyApp: I *: S

  The "MyApp" should be replaced by your applications "App ID". After this, you should see trace any statement in your application as they are triggered. If your application is published with the type of deployment "release Device", then it will not work. I suspect that was problem you can't see them. The box "Enable debugging" under general settings to publish this does not affect as mine was not checked by default.

  When you launch the app on your device, you will see he is trying to connect to an IP address of debugging. You can simply click Cancel on the popup and it will always be able to see the tracing instructions in the command line.

  Problem has been solved now.

  Question is is that I created a folder for the project of jdev. Created file's readme default text in it.

  Causing the problem while deploying the application

  Once, I deleted all the readme .txt file in default the entire file. Problem solved.

  Check the location of the SDK by browsing "Tools-> preferences-> Oracle Cloud-> Cloud Service SDK Java", navigate to the folder and navigate to the directory of sup 'lib '. Check the version with the command:

  java-jar javacloud.jar - version

  Oracle Cloud Java Deployer of Service tool.

  Version: 13.2.7.0

  What is the version that was posted to you? If something else "13.2.7.0" try to download the latest version of the SDK, unzip it somewhere and point your Jdev on the new version.

• Air on iOS 18 9

  Hey, so I wanted to test an app on Xcode 7/iOS beta 9 and I get this error message. I use flash builder 4.7 btw.

  Error occurred during the installation of the application:
  Unknown or not SDK version supported: /Applications/Xcode-beta.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Develo per/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator.sdk

  It works fine on iOS Simulator 8. So, does that mean that air 18 does not work on iOS 9? Sorry I don't have a real device to install iOS 9 on.

  This error appears because of not to use command line tools correct xcode. Please set the following properties-

  (1) open xocde.

  (2) Xcode > preferences > locations > command line tools

  (3) set it to the 7 of Xcode.

  Also, please check after properties in flash builder > launch configuration.

  (1) the location of the SDK - DKs /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/S Simulator

  (2) default device - IPad

• Adobe Air for Flash CS6 works only on Android 5.0.2

  I tried to publish a game that I have developed in Adobe Flash CS6 using the Adobe Air platform.

  I've done this countless times before, I'm not new to develop in Flash.

  Even if everyone thinks that HTML5 will take over as "Flash is dead" I still think it's a great development platform.

  I have trouble getting my APK files to run on Android 5.0.2 (Lolipop) without apparent reason.

  If I choose to install AIR separately, it works. If I decide to incorporate it into the APK, it gives an error immediately after the launch of the app.

  There is no error code and nothing I can do reference. just an error "The Application was able to start".

  AIR installed on the computer is not the same as the AIR SDK. You don't want to not download either version of the AIR SDK:

  So, the short version of what I hope are you currently build for AIR 3.2, who would have a chance with the latest versions of Android, and edit using AIR 18 or 19 would be a good idea.

  Why is the referenced host here 'localhost '?  Should not the XML continue my code of points my vCenter Server's FULL domain name?  It's throwing me for a loop, because when I try for any transaction on the service established by PHP SoapClient instance, my code expires because it tries to connect to localhost instead of the actual address of my Server vCenter.

  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  Even more useful would be a code example using PHP 5.3 SoapClient class (as opposed to nusoap, that I've seen it used, because it is not fully functional under PHP 5.3).  Thank you!
