I contacted the Support of Skype to solve a problem with my Microsoft Account does not link/unlink properly, probably a bug in the system... so what do? Lock me out my account * beep * permanently. I can't make a new account, because I have contacts there that are irreplaceable.

The * beep * they ask you if you want to recover your account, Skype is * beep * impossible to answer. I don't remember what * beep * year I created the account. My contacts change their names all the time fucking. This is not * beep * just, I've had this account for centuries.

Do something about this Skype, or I will file a complaint, there are friends and family I'm losing contact with for always if I don't get this back.

After several rounds with live support, I finally got my account back, and I'm much calmer. (Thanks to Roberto a. and Earl John C.!) You did a good job, you deserve praise to come through where others didn't support)

It was too much hassle to reach the point of take over, so I got comments about the recovery process.

Just a tip for anyone who has had this problem. If you already had an account linked to your Microsoft Account or sign with support with a Skype name that you were formerly bound, tell them, that they can use as a piece of information to help verify your identity.

Unfortunately, it is not in the form of recovery, but it should be. The form should also accept live/msn contact names/emails and Skype not only, but it doesn't. MS account UID/profile information would be a good form of validation, but it's not either them.

In addition, signed up to this day should not be something that is necessary, because most of the people remember this detail, especially if they had the account for a long time, or he did not think / wiped their Inbox after registration. It is not clear if they ask when you first register your MS account, or your first registration to Skype with the account of Ms.

    The problem is now resolved.

    We have just restarted the vCenter which we changed the DB password.

    Once the DB password is changed and we have made changes in the CR, but forgot to restart VC... He will always hold the old powers DB with the DB access. Every time that the installation of the fix arrived on VC or DB server.

    It gets restarted., then VC tries to connect the DB with the old credentails. DB server see VC db tries to connect to the site of the old password with the largest number of attempts. Then DB server blocks the account.

    Simple solution is to restart VC at the time wherever you have changed the DB password.

    XP Pro SP3, class hard drive not connected to the internet, cannot be connected to the internet, last successful access had no problem indicated.  No media has been on computer, so no virus has been introduced.  On the next attempt to use the player, all accounts are shown as locked.  Locking strategy is after 3 failed attempts, but no attempts have been made.  Can't access all accounts, limited and admin.  Not use classic logon screen welcome screen.  Help, please.

    As an administrator for the workspace the workspace that contains the application navigate to home > Administration > manage Services > Set Workspace Preferences and ensure that the Expiration of the account and locking is set to activate.

    It's my first installation of the Apex and it's for a test/demo (no production).

    Env:

    Windows XP

    Oracle 11.2.0.1

    Apex 4.2.4

    I configured accordingly to the Oracle the Apex documentation + the listener (standalone mode)

    I start the listener with the following command-line to the java home dir

    I can't access the page: 8080/apex/listenerConfigure = > page not found

    But I can not connect to the admin (= internal workspace) even after good account unlock, change of pwd and tips read this forum

    I don't see any reason you want to uninstall it.

    Upgrade of the APEX and installation steps are the same. I don't know that there is nothing wrong.

    Run any script in apxchpwd.sql correct version

    OK, so I recently had to replace my hard drive on my pc, so I reinstalled windows, do not use the default that came with my pc. So I took it to a repair store to do this. They have set up a default account for me. When I got my pc back, I logged on my microsoft account, thinking that this would change my picture of lock/account. There can be no. Lock screen remained Rainbow, and account remained gray silhouette. I tried a lot of bugs that I found on the fourms several but none were of no help. It is also preventing me from adding a brooch, a photo password. I would like this be fixed, thanks in advance!

    I take that you replaced the hard drive and installed Windows to a retail disc and did not use the recovery feature.

  • All locked or disabled to restart user accounts

    I was faced with a problem with my user accounts getting locked out/disabled every time that I reboot my system. I can't start in safe mode, I can't run the system restore, I can't do anything but run a startup disk that will allow me to unlock locked accounts and remove the passwords so now that I'm stuck without the disc I'm totally locked out of my system.

    I am not connect to any network or something like that so they aren't locking me. I think it's Windows or a virus, but I've scanned several times my virus from the system.

    I realize maybe there's not much I can do until I have retrieve the boot disk, but I want to solve this problem, so it is not keep happening to me.

    A client asked me to allow on their domain account lockout threshold.

    I made the appropriate changes in group policy and also set up a notification by e-mail under Task Scheduler that is triggered by event ID 4740 appearing in the security log. http://community.Spiceworks.com/scripts/show/1588-send-email-on-account-lock-out

    It was during the test I noted after the nth wrong password, I got a screen on alert "the referenced account is currently locked and cannot be logged on.

    I tested again with an invalid username and did not get the same message. This is potentially a problem because it means that an attacker can't see a difference between a valid user name and an invalid user name without having to know any correct password.

    Is it possible that I can disable this alert screen so that the attackers are not presented with a way to validate user names?

    I am already aware that locking accounts are more favourable for other reasons the customer is informed of the possibility of an attack denial of service which deliberately trigger these locks and took some measures to mitigate the effects.

    However, because an informed decision was filed with stick to the strategy of locking of account I want to be able to mitigate this undesirable if possible another consequence.

    Locked out since a company account (to try to use an incorrect password too often), I am an approved user.  I have reset my account and waited two days. However, I still get the same message (locked account). Is there a toll free number, I can call to get the customer support.
