  I was faced with a problem with my user accounts getting locked out/disabled every time that I reboot my system. I can't start in safe mode, I can't run the system restore, I can't do anything but run a startup disk that will allow me to unlock locked accounts and remove the passwords so now that I'm stuck without the disc I'm totally locked out of my system.

  I am not connect to any network or something like that so they aren't locking me. I think it's Windows or a virus, but I've scanned several times my virus from the system.

  Hi all

  Last days face the vCenter DB account locked exits.

  Am using vCenter 5.5 version and first we found the vCenter service does not start and when checked said newspapers DB locked account.

  

  We have a separate team for DB, we went to db we checked the papers and States that, due to the repeated incorrect password attempt, on behalf of the db is locked.

  Am surprised like db account is configured only in ODBC. How is it that he gets locked due to incorrect password attempts. (For your information we have recently changed the password of account vCenter db and changed the same in all VC change db password following methods of vmware vCenter)

  Need help from anyone if'm wrong... what service or application is the lockign account.

  The problem is now resolved.

  We have just restarted the vCenter which we changed the DB password.

  Once the DB password is changed and we have made changes in the CR, but forgot to restart VC... He will always hold the old powers DB with the DB access. Every time that the installation of the fix arrived on VC or DB server.

  It gets restarted., then VC tries to connect the DB with the old credentails. DB server see VC db tries to connect to the site of the old password with the largest number of attempts. Then DB server blocks the account.

  Simple solution is to restart VC at the time wherever you have changed the DB password.

• Thunderbird has lost all my accounts and settings

  I have been using T-bird for years with only the default profile. I have my personal Setup account separately 2 corporate accounts that are grouped in the local folders.

  Yesterday, when I rebooted and started the T-bird, it was as if I had never set up all the accounts. There is no folder or messages and all my accounts had disappeared.

  I checked the C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default and the files are still there. It is just that my default profile is not to use them, even if the correct folder is displayed when I go to help/troubleshooting and click on 'display the folder '.

  Is your search Safari bar light grey or dark grey? If it's dark, it's set to private browsing. I kept is disconnected from websites as well, until I discovered that my Safari was in private by default mode. The turn off correction of the problem.

  To check, go to:

  Safari > Preferences > General > Safari opens with: > if it says 'A new private window', change it in a new window in the menu drop-down

  After changing, Safari closes completely and reopen it.

  If this isn't your problem, so hopefully someone more knowledgeable will advise you.

• XPRT: Adding a new contact add contact to ALL my accounts

  I just changed the XPRT so I hope that this issue is something that I just do bad. When I add a new contact on the phone, the contact is added to all my accounts (in this case 7 accounts), and each of them appears as a contact with 7 links. I don't see a place to specify the account to add contact when I'm creating, or when I try to change it.

  What I'm missing here? Is there a way to specify the account to add the contact to?

  I think that what you are looking for and im do not know because I only have my google

  account for the contact is:

  If you go to your contacts, press menu, select, then

  Parameters. I think that you can choose which accounts get link and which are not.

  How do you delete user accounts? Is it just C:\Dosument and settings users or accounts under the control panel? If you don't want to keep all these account data, you can try to delete the profile of click Start-> settings-> Control Panel-> system-> Advanced-> user profile and select the profile and remove. Also check under 'User accounts' in the control panel to remove the names of users.

  I set it up to lock an account after 3 failed attempts.

  If I open the "User accounts" applet, it causes the current user has a login attempt has failed. If I do this 3 times, I'm locked up.

  What is the origin of the attempts to logon? This does not happen if I use "Computer management" to access user accounts.
