Equium A100-27-Flash cards not responding do not

I have a problem with flash cards not responding is not on my laptop Satellite A100-27.
It has been gradually getting worse for several months, period during which Windows would warn me that "Toshiba Flash Cards not responding' and invite me to look for a solution and close the program.

This always solved the problem, but recently flash cards work while I can not, for example turn the touchpad on or off, but Windows is no longer notifying me and looking for a solution.
The problem seems to be entirely circular, because Microsoft doesn't want to know if you bought your computer with the operating system already installed (why? Maybe they can't afford good customer!) and Toshiba offer no way at all to communicate with them directly, except at a prohibitive cost.

I'm the only person in the world to conclude that this appalling lack of any significant customer support is a clear indication of an attitude "grass you--I'm only interested in sales and profit" and y at - it a kind soul out there that can offer the possibility of a solution?

First of all keep cool!
Why you get excited about this? These things can happen, person only and not portable is perfect. In addition, you have not tried anything yet and I think that your problem can be solved in a few minutes then listen:

Flash cards you want to say are part of the package of added value. So you should try to reinstall the Toshiba tool and you can download the latest version here:

Before installing the latest version, remove the old first. Restart the computer, and then install the version you downloaded.

    a solution may be turning off the flash card service if Don t you need your USB.

    You can disable it by following these steps:

    -Go to start-> settings-> Control Panel-> administration-> Services tools

    -Make a right click on 'Smart Card' and left click on "Properties".

    -In the window who pop´s you must stop the service and disable it with the "Disabled" choice to the option "Startup Type".

    After that, your flash drive service is disabled and that you won´t get that annoying more errormessage.

    The problem is that you need install Microsoft patches before you continue installing the audio driver.

    I found some useful tips and advice in this forum and it seems that you need to install the
    KB888111 and KB835221 hotfix before installing the sound driver.

    I have a Toshiba Equium A100-063 (PSAAQE-00G006IT).
    The keyboard does not work, the usb keyboard does not work even in the bios.
    I disassembled the PC and unplugged the keyboard but does not work (even in bios).
    I formatted the PC and even the on-screen keyboard does not make me see the letters on the buttons.

    I just installed XP Pro on my tosh equium a100 provided vista as it ran very slowly and I had endless problems.

    All works well outside the DVD RAM drive, I got the correct driver from the toshiba support site and works in deivice managing all the and correct, I installed nero and decided to burn a Music Office but nothing helps, after selecting tracks nero don't does not reckognize the player in the drop down list only CREATE ONE IMAGE was available?

    I should try the following steps:

    First, you must remove the drive from the Device Manager and restart the laptop. After you restart the operating system should recognize the new device (ODD) again.

    Then, open the registry and delete the upper and lower filters of the key values:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    Then reboot again.

    I recently bought a box of 50 masterpieces of Mozart CD. I want them on my drive hard, but every so often, I hear the whirring autour CD in drive D: but it then stops and no further action takes place. Equium A100 does not recognize the disc: no disc in drive D:! If I go to my computer and click on D:, I get a warning "D:\ is not available..." I/o device error."

    This only happens with certain CD; others are fine. Could I do something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

    Hmm in my knowledge, not all CD and DVD are compatible and taken in charge and sometimes could happen that the drive can not read some CD.

    Maybe the firmware of the installed disk does contain all the details of manufacturing of CDs and properties and, therefore, the lens of the drive can not calibrate and manage the inserted CD.

    I found in my manual to the user a list of CD and DVD compatible and supported.
    There you should find the different manufacturers that produce a compatible media.

    Check if the hard drive, Flash card and external gets detected in disk management. If it gets detected in disk management, and then format the disk and assign a drive letter.

    I agree with Akuma. Remove value added package and install latest pre-installed support Toshiba and download page - http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads.

    Your Equium read MMC with XP card? If Yes, then I suggest you to reinstall your drivers and check if you have forgotten to download some drivers for download/install.

    Have you installed the two KBs (knowledge base) of Microsoft before running the installation program driver sound?

    Another question. What Service Pack you are using? Always SP2 or SP3 brand new? With the last of them, there are sometimes problems with the realtek sound card drivers.

    I don t think that the laptop or command buttons are broken. In my opinion the Toshiba control utility will not work. Why? Who knows? Maybe there's something wrong with the registry entries.

    I recommend you to download the Toshiba control tool and the common modules of the driver page.
    First remove the old controls of the operating system. Then restart the computer, reinstall the common modules and the new command buttons Toshiba utility.
    After restarting the laptop buttons should again work.

    I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A100-065 with Mocrosoft Vista operating system. Every now and then, I get a message on the top of my screen stating "Toshiba Flash Cards not react." I have to close the message before I can move forward. What could be the problem and how can it be solved?
