LOOK for iOS distribution company - how?

I want to distribute AIR for iOS app using the certificate of Distribution of my customer's business.

I think that the soft, I made using Flash CS5.5 and FlashDevelop in Windows, must be compiled using Ad - Hoc distribution powers of my usual iOS developer and then, somehow, do I have to be decompressed and re-signed on a Mac.

Can someone give a well written, clear procedure to achieve?

Well, no thanks to everyone here, I found the answer. It is not necessary to sign in again. The distribution of the company be made easily from Flash using the credentials of the Enterprise Developer consistency and the type of 'Ad hoc' of distribution.

In fact, thanks to both of you who TRIED to answer!

  • LOOK for iOS: How can I distribute only the Retina screens?

    I am almost completed an app, I designed for iOS and tested on my iPhone 4. I bought a 2nd generation iPhone so I could test on the two resolutions of screen (320 x 480 and 640 x 960) before discovering what AIR for iOS does not support very old iOS devices (I think that the rule is to iOS 4 +).

    My question is how the distribution is managed if the application will not run on these older models? People with a 2nd gen iPhone should always access an application that I publish through AIR for iOS and then be angry when it is not supported on their device? Has anyone experience this problem?

    AIR 2.5 + requires iPhone 3GS + to run. It is based on the processor Inside that

    device and newer which includes a coprocessor NEON SIMD - a requirement

    the newest air builds on all platforms (more recent than PFI/AIR 2.0, which)

    comes with Flash Pro CS5.0).

    There should be a 'resolution' taking place in the AIR for iOS parameters

    dialog box, if you updated your PFI in CS5.0 or upgraded to CS5.5. You can

    Select 'High' for iPhone retina display support. This will not

    iPad 3 retina support however.

    Kevin N.

    Edit: I it is clear that the requirements of the device are put in your application and applied by the App Store - on old devices users will never see your AIR applications in their app store, and if they link it in the App Store, they'll get an explanation of why they are unable to install the application (it will be either the requirement of the OpenGL ARE 2.0 or the processor requirements - it is similar to if you try to install a single application on an iPhone iPad). Android works actually in the same way - old/cheap ARMv6 device users don't see your application requiring ARMv7 in their app Google Play/Marketplace.

  • Look for iOS parameters does not show

    Hello

    Flash Pro CS6

    When I click on the settings icon change App, nothing happens.

    The only way to challenge is the movement of the file available somewhere else or change its name.

    I'm tired to do every time I want to put the window.

    Is there any solution for this?

    Hello

    Thank you for your detailed answer, but I don't want to use the XML, it would be the same. Whenever I want to change something, I would need to open XML.

    the problem is not me not knowing how to do the settings on the XML, this is where the dialog available named 'settings for iOS', which aims to make adjustments in an easier way for developers/designers and this dialog box does not appear.

    I'm tired to change the available file name in order to bring this dialog box.

    If this does not work well on CS6, there should not be such option in CS6, it's as simple as that.

    I had to install CreativeCloud and things work in CC, but for those who have the same problem and using CS6, the only thing I can say is GOOD LUCK.

    Thank you.

  • LOOK for iOS, 'HelloWorld' fails to compile

    Flash CS 5.5 v11.5.1.349

    Windows 7 Professional SP 1

    I get the compile error when you post AIR for iOS (Flash Cs 5.5). It does not, what is wrong, said simply that he was unable to compile the files.

    "Error creating files.
    Failed to compile... »

    The application is simple - is the example Hello World in the help section, but it still does not work. (Of course, I have all the necessary certificates created.) What is even more interesting, the same fla without changing file compiles well on Flash CS5.5 my colleague, even if (11.5.1.349) versions are identical.

    The only time I get that error is when a file is in use (or Windows thinks it's) because he has started or selected in Windows Explorer, then you will fail to compile the SWF itself. Otherwise, do not hit browse and specifically defining the path to export product also the error for me.

    Is generated all SWF? If so, it has a size (> 0Ko)?

    One thing you should definitely do more than overlay latest Adobe Flash CS5.5 AIR. This will ensure that you have all the latest patches and updates to AIR for iOS. This may solve your problem.

    Download the SDK here:

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/air/air-SDK-download.html

    Instructions on layering (disregard the version number difference, simply use the correct number of AIR, you're coming to overlap instead, from 13 to 16):

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/overlay-air-SDK-Flash-Professional.html

    I also recommend to download and update Flash CS5.5 to have the latest version of Flash Player. This is so you can target and test using the version 16 (11.3 flash drive). Here is the download page for the Flash Player the latest debuggers, playerglobal.swc, etc.. :

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

    There is not a lot of information out there on how to install it in Flash CS5.5 but I'll give you the general jist:

    -Close Flash Pro

    -Install 2 browser plugins (activeX and plugin according to the debuggers)

    -Download the "projector content Debugger" and crush the FlashPlayerDebugger.exe in this default path: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Flash CS5.5\Players\Debug

    -Download the "projector" and crush the FlashPlayer.exe in this default path: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Flash CS5.5\Players\Release

    -Download the playerglobal.swc (make sure that it has named exactly that), then navigate to the default path: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Flash CS5.5\Common\Configuration\ActionScript 3.0

    -Create a folder in this path called "FP11.3" and place the playerglobal.swc in there.

    -Navigate to the default folder C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Flash CS5.5\Common\Configuration\Players

    -Duplicate the last FlashPlayer1x_x.xml file and name it FlashPlayer11_3.xml.

    -Change the file. Change the lines accordingly, the parts in bold are the changes:

    Flash Player 11.3

    Now you can restart flash and your target publication, you should see Flash Player 11.3 as target.

    To check 11.3 is installed correctly open a new AS3 document and paste this code and then run it using the DEBUGGER.

    Do not simply press CTRL +, it is just a player. Use CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER. You should now see the version followed 11.

    Here is the script code of the simple framework:

    import flash.system.Capabilities;

    trace (Capabilities.version);

    For using the debugger (CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER) I see: WIN 11,3,300,257

    For me using just came out (CTRL + ENTER): WIN 10,2,153,2

  • Enter the location of the image LOOK for iOS

    I have two images of launch for a game that I do with air for iOS, called Default.png and [email protected]. I can't find where to put them so that they are used when the opening play. Documentation from Adobe says they should be in the root directory, so I put them in the same folder as the appeared .ipa file, but that doesn't seem to work (I use a 4th gen iPod Touch for testing, so it doesn't take long to load the game, but I thought that I would see at least a glimpse of it). I also put the launch of the images in the folder AppIconsForPublish that Flash created when I imported the images I use for app icons, but still no luck. How can I get the launch images displayed?

    Icons are handled in a special way, when you publish the icons are brought to you, but they must be beside where the swf's going to be. I have mine in a folder of icons next to the swf.

    The splash screen is not treated in this way, you must add them manually in the publication settings. I think they could be located anywhere on your hard drive, but you must add them in individually, not inside a folder. Then that puts them at the root of the application itself.

  • LOOK for iOS version build freezes

    What I use:

    Mac OS X version 10.7.5

    Flash Pro CC and AIR 14.0.0.78 for iOS

    The application works in debug build on my iPad2, everything works great. I use sharedObject to store the preferences of users.

    On the Release version, the application starts normal. I am able to browse through the different screens and use other parts of the application without any problems. When I get to a Setup screen there is an edit and an Add button. By clicking on the button Edit not abnormally cases, when you click on the Add button, the application crashes. Community Adobe, need help with this problem!

    Is there a work-around, before I change all codes of sharedObject.

    Questions:

    • IOS type deployment Ad hoc or Apple's App Store , in my view, the application crashes with the following code:

    ConfigMenu.png

    • No errors show why the application froze on my iPad
    • The application was approved by Apple Store and not through the Application loader error

    This issue follows to the top of this post:

    https://forums.Adobe.com/message/6336759#6336759

    I think there should be more support from Adobe.

    I found the solution, sharedObjects had to be reconfigured and is currently working. The app is in the App Store.

  • LOOK for iOS: icons & launch Image question

    Start the Image:

    AIR was so changed since I used it the last time, I can't really know anything, the documentation is a little confusing for me. Could someone of you please answer my question? For some, it would be fairly simple.

    My application is exclusively for iPads, only works in landscape mode, so I've included images of launch 2, whose name: Default.png & [email protected]. (I named them after reading this: ) http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/air/build/WS901d38e593cd1bac1e63e3d129907d2886-8000.html )

    When I copied the final .ipa file to my iPad 2, and its launch image appeared in Portrait mode! So, I'm totally confused that how many launch I provide images and what should be their names? I use Flash Professional CC to publish, I have included images of launch in publication settings, so is there any order I must follow or order in the files just doesn't metter? Please keep it carefully considered that this app is only for iPads (specified in the publishing dialog box) and only works in landscape (both, left and right).

    Icons:

    I followed the above Web page and Flash Professional CC has provided these icons: 29 x 29, 48 x 48, 50 x 50, 58 x 58, 72 x 72, 100 x 100, 144 x 144 and 1024 x 1024. I know 50 x 50 icon is created by air 48 x 48, and yet I have provided it and icon 512 x 512 is only for the purpose of development, we provide manually while downloading on App Store, so I did not plan it.

    When I copied final. IPA to iTunes, iTunes doesn't show the application icon as it allows to determine the development-ipa. So, I just want confirm is that normal or I missed something?

    Finally, I copied final. IPA for my iPad 2, when I started, I noticed that first of all it show image 'launch' in portrait (as mentioned above) and then can be 1-2 seconds, the launch went image and it showed a blank (black) screen until my application has started. The black and white screen showed for 3-4 seconds. Is this normal?

    Thank you.

    Hey Yusuf,.

    "Default.png" is a bitmap portrait for iPhone, iPhone 3 and iPhone 3GS.

    ---

    For iPad 1, 2 & Mini, you will need an image 1024 x 768 called "Default - Landscape.png.

    For the iPad 3 and 4, you will need a 2048 x 1536 "[email protected]."

    ---

    So all you have to do is to include these images in the publication of launch settings and that's all, there is no special orders and you don't require other images 'Default' than these two. This should also fix your white screen problem.

    It is normal for release builds do not show their application icon in iTunes, you will notice that when you right click and press "Get Info" on an application, you should be able to see the icon.

    Hope that helps,

    O.

  • look for ios - ipad 3 - bitmap distortion

    I create an application testing on the ipad and ipad 3.  I have clips that I convert to bitmap images using the code below.  For some reason, bitmaps, seen on the ipad, are resized - a bitmap that has a width of 1496 displayed with a width of 1499.  There is also a visible deformation on the ipad - edges become pixelated/blurry - just as they would when you resize something.  The code always indicates the right width.

    Seen on computer, everything is fine - no resizing, without distortion.

    Why the bitmap is get distorted on ipad?

    var sPage:Sprite = mcMain.hPagesSource.mcPage_portrait_0;

    bdPage = new BitmapData(sPage.width,sPage.height,true,0x0);

    bdPage.draw (spacing, null, null, null, null, false);

    Subpage = new Bitmap (bdPage, "auto", false);

    mcMain.hPages.addChild (bPage);

    aPages.push (bPage);

    Let me know if you need anything that anyone else.

    Thank you!

    Looks like the problem is that I was using bitmaps that are too large.  I checked and read that the ipad 3 has a maximum of 2048 and 1024 for ipads earlier.  I was creating bitmaps that are too large.  Reduce the size of the bitmap image to less than 2048 x 2048 solves the problem.

    Thank you!

  • LOOK for iOS 3.1 - name of the application is more work?

    I named my "123 Someapp" app and mysteriously enforcement falls permanently "123" in the name part. It was very good.

    Yesterday, I noticed AIR3.1 was released and I bunk which. Someone at - it superimposed on the other AIR3.1? Note the name of your app does not completely work?

    FWIW, it's an iPad only app. This provision clearly states that the name of the application is "123 Someapp". In the AIR for the parameters of the IOS, I have "App name" parameter set correctly as well.

    Hi sinister:

    Can you please provide the following information in your descriptor of the App.

    1. the value of the name tag

    2. tag filename value (I guess it should be "Someapp" without 123)

    3 have you located the name of tag values?

    3.1 AIR the behavior is as follows:

    1. the name of the application (which is indicated on the device) comes from the value of the filename tag. Given the point 2 is not used by your application.

    2. If the value of the name tag is available in several languages (as described in http://help.adobe.com/en_US/air/build/WSD079A3A2-1B38-4543-A792-06594E4325FE.html ) then this value is used as the display name of the application. and the correct value is chosen according to the location of the device

    For example, you can change the values accordingly. If you find a few different behaviors post back please.
