  Hello everyone,

  I'm looking for a printer that suite me for about a week now and still have not decided what to buy. I am inclined to it right now

  I print around 10-50 pages per month and I decided to get an all-in-one printer with a USB 2.0 support.

  I'm not interested in Wifi or network printer as I have a pogo plug in unit.

  I don't mean for print speeds high I print very less.

  When I looked at the HP inkjet printers, means advised pages to print is 400 pages per month, which is much more than what I will use eventually.

  My friends tell me, inkjet printer when it is insufficiently used to frequent replacement of the cartridge and that I should go for Laser alternatives. With my needs as a kid, I don't feel comfortable for a costly option.

  Is there a printer that will suit me?

  I have very little knowledge about printers and would appreciate any help

  Officejet printers would work very well in a situation like this. They will perform auto maintenance that keeps the head of printing and cartridges in good health. As long as you turn off the printer correctly (with power button / stop) they joined the cartridges in the "Service station".

  It should be.  Try these steps and results reports:

  When you turn on and connect the printer via USB, shows tasks for animation in the system tray at the right end of the bar, click it and monitor driver installation.  If the pilot goes then printer must print and perhaps scanning of base via the Windows fax and scanning utility.  To find such a piece of utility type its name in the search box.

  If the driver does not load type of devices and printers in the box to start the search, open it, check if printer is already displayed, right-click on it to open the properties, and try to print a Test page. If it does not print right click on printer again to solve problems.

  If the printer is not listed visit Support downloads of the printer Web page to download and install the base driver.  If a wireless printer, you will need the complete package to do it fully implemented.  If you want to be able to scan from the top of the printer to the PC, then you also need the full package.  Keep track of the configuration screens when you install the software.

  If you still have problems after return the exact error with photos if possible.

• Looking for a printer scanner!

  First timer, don't know if I'm in the right bench! Have a HP Scanjet 4890 computer Gateway 510 Series. When the Scanjet was installed there was a printer Epson C85, and I was able documents of scam to the printer without any problems. The printer bit the dust and I installed an Epson C120 and the Scanner does not recognize the printer. When you try to print by the scanner I get the message (must have a printer to copy, go to control panel and setting up a printer [1211]) I uninstalled the printer and reinstalled several times, moved cables for different ports but still no luck. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the scanner, still no luck. HP said that this model is no longer supported online. Any suggestions out there?... inches

  When I try to use web services on my printer so I can start the registration process on the cloud printer message it says "connection error".  But it is on the internet and will my laptop eprint. • Laptop permanently looking for WiFi printer

  I have an Officejet 6600 and it is connected wireless to many laptops and main computer. Since I installed the software, I noticed that the 'thought' slider comes EVERY minute. Sometimes, work in the background slows down some applications.

  When I uninstalled my laptop HP printing software sometimes not at all. A few days later, I reinstalled the software and the cursor to work again. So, I know it has something to do with the printer. I am assuming that she is trying to establish a connection.

• Don't port look for a printer in windows xp mode and virtual PC

  Have an older Calcomp plotter.  Used with Win xp.  The drivers are not compatible with windows 7 (64).  Upgrade to Win 7 Professional, downloaded xp mode and virtual PC.  All right.  Installed my plotter in xp Mode, but can't seem to find the plotter to printer usb port is connected to.  Knowledge tracer works because as I tried different ports, the test print on my HP printer that is set up a home network.  Reading the different instructions, but they are above my head.   Have HP touchsmart w / three usb ports on the back.  One of these ports to connect printer.  I think I need to make a set to the top of USB devices in xp mode, but do not understand what I have to do.  Anyone using xp mode and windows virtual PC with windows 7 that can simply explain it would be appreciated greatly.

  In XP Mode, set the plotter to XP Mode in the USB menu in XP Mode header bar.

  I use a Chromebook with a printer C310 and Google Cloud Print. The print dialog does not multiple copies. Additinally, the print dialog box provides to specify which pages in a given document to print, but still don't know, all pages printed on a documebnt.  HP can fix this problem or is it a problem of Google Cloud Print?

  Unfortunately, you use the Chromebook and the dialog box does not allow for multiple impressions, then this is probably a feature that has not been put in the Chromebook yet. I would suggest contacting their support, like printing for our printer software can only digest the orders it is given - if the command is not there for multiple copies then the printer will have any choice but to print them one at a time.

Whenever I pull up the "Web Services", it says that my printer needs to be updated... but when I try to update I get the message, "your printer has the latest updates installed. There is no new update at this time. »

  I mainly use Chrome OS, but it seems to have the same problem on a PC running Cloud Print via a browser. If I connect to the applications on the 8600 eStorage feature and go to display and print, then I can access Google Drive files and order a print of a PDF file through this interface and that they print correctly.  I had deleted the former use of the Cloud Print queue and queue ePrintCenter, but still no a PDF is via CloudPrint impression.

  I can't thank you enough for this explanation. I didn't know that there is a correlation between the error 'unknown' with the printer on the ePrint and Google Chrome website.  I have worked with greed to try to determine the causes of this error to www.hpconnected.com and so far everyone has said that it does not affect their impression.

  I now have a few steps for you and please let me know the result. I want you to set a static IP address on the printer.  I have created a comprehensive document which includes all the steps to solve a similar problem (maybe even the same problem).  Do not hesitate to try any suggestion in this link and let me know if any help really.

  All I ask is patience with me while I do some tests to see if your error on the ePrint site has something to do with Google Chrome.  In fact, thank you for giving me something more to test.

  Finally, if the static IP address is not help, just turn on the printer, and then try to print the PDF, because so far, it's what makes the error on the Web site to go.  Keep me posted.
