  • HP Envy 4520: Coupons printed with instant ink not scan

I use my printer primarily to print discount coupons and before starting the program of inistant ink, stores had no problem scanning of the coupons that I printed. However, that all changed when I installed new ink cartridges now and began to print. All the stores I went to redeem the coupons rejected or had to manually key in the coupons. It's extremely frustrating because it defeats the purpose of buying this new printer in the first place. Please advise! I really hope it's a simple solution.

It has been a long time when it happened. I couldn't find the exact culprit.

I ended up having to reload Windows due to another problem, and in doing so, he fixed the drop shadow.

You print directly from a browser such as Internet Explorer? If so, you can reset the browser or try another browser like Chrome or Firefox to test with.

Other than that, I don't know what is happening. You can always contact HP Instant Support of ink if you feel that you have failed in the cartridges. Sign in to your instant ink account to access contact information, or click on this link...

  • Photosmart 7520 does not not with Google cloud print

I have a photosmart 7520 which was recorded with HP and have an email address. I associate that with google cloud print.  When I try to print anything my chromebook. the cloud print queue indicates that it has printed, but nothing appears. When I feel the wireles test report told me I have 2 networks with the same SSID but I don't think I have.

I got some impressions from the 7520 but blindly - it is more often a failure. I restarted my router and restore the default settings for the installation all over again even once, but nothing helps.

    Hello JS01,.

Thank you for the updated information. And the information you gave me certainly help.

I have included a link to another thread on the forums with a customer who also has a BT Home Hub 5.  If you click on "this issue has been resolved view Solution ' it will take you to the post where the customer explains how to set up the Home Hub 5.

  • Definition of paper with Google Cloud Print size

Hi, I have a HP Photosmart 5520 and it's great work. The only problem that I had up to now is when I tried to print 6 x 4 using Google Cloud Print photos. Nowhere could I find an option to change the size of the paper, and when I printed, it was obviously still staggered to A4. When I tried to print from my phone the only option of paper size is A4 again. I finally got to work using the application of e-Print HP on my phone, but I expected that it should work with Google Cloud Print, did I miss something?

    Hi John,.

After all my research for Google Cloud Print, the only mention of the ability to change the size of the paper is to use the Google Cloud Print for Android application.

  • Duplex with Google Cloud Print

I have a 550 Chromebook and a Photosmart HP 6520. I use Google Cloud Print to print (the only option on Chromebooks). It works great except that I can't do double-sided printing to work. Some old threads here stated that this is not supported. Is this true? There is no duplex option in the print dialog box. There is an option on the printer in 'ECO' parameters, that I turned on.

I am able to make a double-sided printing of my using the HP eprint app android phone, but I really want to get this working on my Chromebook.

    JimKop
I'm not aware anyway you can print duplex using Google Cloud Print. Suggesting him only if possible would be to use the Hp ePrint app.

  • Want 7640 does not print color, but is printed in color on the Page of Test of Google Cloud Print

I can't print the colors in a print job from the Web via Google Cloud Print / ePrint.   It prints in black and white.

However, if I print a test page for Google Cloud Print, it prints in color.  I can also print a color copy.  My ink cartridges are filled.  When printing using chromium, the color preference is set to 'color '.  Everything works as expected.  The printer is capable of printing black & white jobs from across the internet.  The device is on.  Paper is in the tray.  The plateau is in the printer.  There is no jam.  I am trying to print source documents have color in them.  I am completely seen, and would be able to see the color in printed documents, if it existed.  Forgive my recitation of what is obvious, but I just spent several hours on a hotline explaining and reexplaining that my test print from the Web, color print.

My environment is printer Envy 7640 and HP 11 Chromebook

HERE IS WHERE THE CAUSE MAY BE:

When I visit the page of Google Cloud Print to http://www.google.com/cloudprint/learn/ , I am able to click on "Try It Now" to find my printer, select 'Grey_CMY' color 'Color', click 'Print' to generate a single color test page.  However, I can't find any way to save the preference of color by default, and when I go back to the Google Cloud Print Try It Now page, color is set back to "Grey_CMY".  So even if I'm selected in the print dialog box color Chrome , it may get deleted by default in Google Clout black and white printing.

    Any help is appreciated!

OK, here's the resolotion: when printing the dialog box, there is the link at the bottom of the dialog box "Print using the Google Cloud Print dialog box.  From there, the PAG printers are displayed by default of Grey_CMY can be substituted for the color and the job will be printed in color.

So, I can't change the default, but I can ignore it, which is fine with me - I just need to know can I print in color.

Any help would be appreciated, but I read all the other messages on the subject and has never seen one of them.  All patches seemed is just fixed itself.  (I CAN SEE WHY THE GOOGLE CLOUD PRINT SITE IS BETA - very poorly supported and written)

  • Google Cloud Print setup - impossible to analyze the capabilities of the printer

I am trying to add my CP1525nw to Google Cloud Print as a Cloud, and not as a LOCAL printer printer, however every time that I add my eprint email I get the following message. "Impossible to analyze the capabilities of the printer" - I tried for public and private use for eprint settings with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I tried the reset email with no luck...

    EDIT - 01/04/11:

I chatted with HP support, and although the representative was extremely courteous, they could not help me.  The support agent assured me that the matter would be taken at a higher level and looked so I hope that we can have a resolution here shortly.

    EDIT - 04/04/11:

Received a response from the original HP rep that I chatted with online.  In short, it was not able to find a solution and States, that the question will be sent upwards to the highest level of technical support from HP...  We shall see.

    EDIT - 05/25/11:

After 2 months of waiting, HP has corrected the problem.  Don't forget to upgrade to the latest firmware and check all the settings before continuing.

The fix came from the side server - this defiinitely had nothing to do with the firmware.  I've updated on Monday for the latest on the HP website and it was still not working.   The gentlemen of tech support that helped me sent me an email a few hours after we talked, saying the sea a fix was to come.

Nevertheless, I am happy without worrying how the fix is here!

It took only 2 months to fix, but I'm glad it is.

  • All-in-one HP Officejet J6480: google cloud print

I wonder how (or if) I can save my all-in-one HP Officejet J6480 printer use Googe Cloud Print?

I had advanced under Chromebook settings then Google Cloud Print and when I click on manage printers he says there is no devices available and I want to register the device.

Thanks for any help with this!

    Hello @CookinCo22 ,

    Welcome to the HP forum.

I understand you're wondering if you can set your J4680 until chromebook.

For a printer can be configured on Google Cloud Print, it must have the functionality of the web services.

Unfortunately the J4680 doesn't have this feature.

If you have a PC or a Mac, you can set up a conventional printer.

The downside is that you should have the PC or Mac turned on to be able to print from the Chromebook.

The positive side is that you can print your chromebook.

    I hope this helps you.

I mainly use Chrome OS, but it seems to have the same problem on a PC running Cloud Print via a browser. If I connect to the applications on the 8600 eStorage feature and go to display and print, then I can access Google Drive files and order a print of a PDF file through this interface and that they print correctly.  I had deleted the former use of the Cloud Print queue and queue ePrintCenter, but still no a PDF is via CloudPrint impression.

I can't thank you enough for this explanation. I didn't know that there is a correlation between the error 'unknown' with the printer on the ePrint and Google Chrome website.  I have worked with greed to try to determine the causes of this error to www.hpconnected.com and so far everyone has said that it does not affect their impression.

You see the error in the hpconnected or the eprintcenter.com?

I now have a few steps for you and please let me know the result. I want you to set a static IP address on the printer.  I have created a comprehensive document which includes all the steps to solve a similar problem (maybe even the same problem).  Do not hesitate to try any suggestion in this link and let me know if any help really.

-Printer will not respond to touch and Communication Network is lost-I am a link you directly how to set a static IP address, but just know that I will be having try you a number of relevant suggestions if it does not work.

All I ask is patience with me while I do some tests to see if your error on the ePrint site has something to do with Google Chrome.  In fact, thank you for giving me something more to test.

Finally, if the static IP address is not help, just turn on the printer, and then try to print the PDF, because so far, it's what makes the error on the Web site to go.  Keep me posted.

  • Error in the external employment when Google Cloud Printing Service: HP Laserjet 1102w Professional P

I set up my printer and associated with Google Cloud Printing. I shared the printer with my daughter who is on a chromebook. When she tries to print, the printer is here and the job is sent to bu ePrint I get an error saying: "error in the external employment service". No documents are able to print. Google says that it is a problem of HP.

I deleted the printer on my behalf of girls and it re-shared and associated again, but this is not enough. On my Printers page, my daughter's google account is identified as "authorized to print." But it still does not work. Any ideas?

Thanks Jerends. I had checked all these options and none worked, so I deleted the printers and re-associates a few minutes. That did the trick. Just as the helpdesk CTR-ALT-DEL trick.

Strange thing has been/is that he used to work, but something happed to raise this issue.
