  I have a Setup with the more recent vRA and more recent vRO external device. The plans use the CloneWorkflow to clone templates in vRA. There is also a workflow assigned (not not using Event Broker yet, still ExternalWFStubs) that is executed when a machine is supplied. So far, this perferctly worked. Now the underlying vCenter was Version 6 upgrade. Cloning of the machines still works perfectly and also the vRO workflow runs, but there is a problem: the attributes VC:VirtualMachine and vCAC:VirtualMachine are not transmitted to vRA to the vRO triggered workflow if it fails (they are configured as the input of the main workflow parameters). Anyone have any idea what could be the reason and how can I fix it? I'm a little at a loss because I do not see any errors in the logs next to these parameters are not passed on more and I can't really identify why the update of the vCenter influence the parameters vRA passes on vRO. VRA Plugin is installed on the external vRO and is the most recent version.

  For more information, vRA passes a string containing the name of the VM at vRO vCAC. vRO then runs runner/worker plugin vRA workflows that get the vCAC:VirtualMachine and the objects of their respective plugins VC:VirtualMachine. You could look at workflows of rider and see if you get the objects there or if they get lost somewhere else in the process.

  I will try to find all the VMS (vCAC:VirtualMachine) connected to a vCAC:vCAChost, put them in a table/loop, then use System.getModule("com.vmware.library.vcac").getPropertiesFromVirtualMachine (vCAChost, ARRAY), to get all the properties for all machines,

  I looked around and tried several actions but found no one that gets me what I want.

  There is a getAllVMsMatchingRegexp that works perfectly for com.vmware.library.vc.vm but not for com.vmware.library.vcac!

  This will retrieve the entity VM VCAC by match the name of the computer, but you can customize and iterate with action "getPropertiesFromVirtualMachine" to get the properties.

  I don't know if I'm just being dense and missing something obvious, but it doesn't seem like the vCAC:VirtualMachine object has no way to enter the vCAC:VCACHost delegate.  I created an action that I think should work for most objects.  In a similar way to vCD, I had assumed that most of the objects would have a .parent attribute or a function to get the host.  At the moment I can't imagine we ever have more than one vCACHost in a vCO to be honest, but you know how it goes.  I wrote this action to return to the vCAC:VCACHost, but if there is a way more easy/better please let me know.

  Since the iOS 10 update on iPhone and iPad, it seems that I can't find my AirPort Express for streaming music on my stereo.  When I click on AirPlay Mirroring it only looks for AppleTV and never find my Express.  Someone else has a similar problem?  Is there another setting I'm missing?

  AirPlay Mirroring and AirPlay streaming are two different things. With iOS 10, AirPlay Mirroring is accessible via the control panel. AirPlay Streaming has been integrated in the music app.

• Problems with three fingers looking for preview

  Hi all

  So I've upgraded to Mac OS Sierra the other night and it was absolutely great so far. However, there is a feature I noticed is either absent, either turned somewhere off the coast, and it is three fingers look upward in the preview. I'm at school and do a lot of my reading on a PDF in preview, and yes I just came across a few words that I don't know the definitions to. In the past, three fingers look has been one of the best features for its quick access to definitions. This is something I really miss and hope that it will be always possible somehow.

  Now, I noticed that it only worked in other applications as well, I went to settings and looked for the feature. I was able to find it in the settings of the Trackpad and he turned his back. That seems to have worked for just about every other app except Preview. If anyone has solutions to this problem, I'm all ears!

  Don't know what's happening, you do not give a lot of information, but if you have the constant beachballing (spinning wait cursor), which could mean that the hard drive is dying.

  Open Console.app in Applications > utilities. Filter, called "String Matching," right, high enter "I/o" without the quotes. What happens when you do this?

  My iMac HD has failed, and I took it to Apple to get it replaced. I had a Time Machine backup on an external hard drive Seagate. But my iMac just not see the backup drive Seagate. I don't know if there is a trick to getting the Seagate HD displays. It does not show in Finder or in disk utility. But when the iMac HD was not, and I looked for ways to restore, I saw a Time Machine backup date. Now, I can not see the drive. Even though I have the music and pictures stored in iCloud, all my apps are now gone. I don't know where to start. I was a fool to trust Time Machine? This is literally disastrous for me, and I don't know where to start. What I need, is to see this backup disk somewhere BTW, I plugged on another iMac and he did not see it either. Is there some magic for Seagate HD?

  Some things you can try:

  * Open the Finder preferences (under the Finder menu, top left of your screen). Make sure that on the general tab, the boxes are ticked for hard disks and drives, to show them on your desktop. Otherwise, they won't be visible.

  * Try a new cable. The cable went wrong.

  * Open disk utility when the drive is connected. You can see on the left hand side of the disk utility? If you see an external drive, try to mount in disk utility. If you can ride, the files are available? If this isn't the case, you can run disk utility to try to fix it.

  * Seagate's data recovery services.  http://www.Seagate.com/services-software/recover/ first of all, you can download their software and try it for free. If it can find files on the disk, you can then purchase the license of their recovery software to use to recover your files from the Seagate drive.   Our House is the proud owner of several Apple devices, together, we have 2 MacBooks, 2 iPhone and an iPad. Devices are distributed over more than 2 Apple ID, we want to keep it this way.

  But, as we both take a lot of pictures it is always a hassle to keep track of the best of them so that we are looking for an easy solution. I searched a bit already online but seem to be asking the wrong question, in any case, I can't find what I'm looking for so I'll try here now.

  -Pictures of fact on two iPhones are automatically downloaded / synchronized to one place, wherever we are.

  -This place should ideally be in our House (so preferably not cloud)

  -This place should also be easily accessible from a computer at home so that we can see both the photo when we want and send us some grandmother for example.

  Does anyone have or know a Setup program as described? We are willing to invest and have considered purchasing a Synology appliance for our backups etc already. One of the iPhone is an iPhone 4 which is still ok, so if possible, we would like to keep for a while, the other is an SE. The two MacBook are completely up to date.
