  • Windows 7 HOME PREMIUM on P7 - 1446 s Wireless Drivers

Howdy all. I looked for an answer to this question on the HP community Furms but he came up empty. I see that others have had success downgrading to Windows 7 PRO, but I'm trying to downgrade to Win7 Home Premium and cannot fing the Wireless drivers for the wireless card.

The machine is a P7 - 1446 s and even once, I installed Win7 Home Premium. I have all THE OTHER DRIVERS, but couldn't find the good drivres wireless.

Following the advice of others, I downloaded the Original Win 7 driver Ralink Wireless Network Controller 4.1.100.1332 sp55504. And also the .rar file driver directly from Broadcom? Web site for the family of AR813x_AR815x_AR816x_v2.1.0.17_WHQL of cards.

    Nothing. I'm puzzled.

Once again, my device manager everything is CLEAN with the exception of one device that has a yellow warning mark that says: controller network, and has properties of (bus PCI 4, device 0, function 0)

  • How to make a backup of operating system vista Home premium on hp pavilion entertainment pc

I need or want to make DVDs to backup my operating system on an H - P with windows vista home premium on a Pavilion P P C h. Entertainment is the latest version with the built in webcam.

    Hello

I'm sorry, but you can make a backup of the computer with Vista Home Premium using the Vista operating system.

Only Windows Vista professional, comprehensive and company have a more advanced backup and restore utility called Windows complete PC Backup and Restore.

For this you will need to program 3rd group.

It is a program that must be bought:

    http://www.Acronis.com/homecomputing/products/TrueImage/

There are other free programs to do this, but I them haven't used lately to recommend.

If you wish to only have a way of reinstalling Vista again, HP has a recovery partiton of the recovery disks from.

It's the HP of the information on how to do it:

  • Can I switch from Vista Home Premium 32 bit to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit?

I wanted to basically triple - check the compatibility of my laptop current in what concerns the upgrade from Vista to Windows 7.

As a student, I can get windows 7 professional 64 bit for £30. Their moment I'm running a 32-bit version of vista Home premium, and I wanted to confirm my laptop is up to running a 64-bit operating system, and that the upgrade from a 32-bit version of Vista to a 64-bit Windows 7 version is also possible.

I ran the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, and it is said that everything should be correct regarding my hardware specifications.

The results of the 64-bit Upgrade Advisor version:

-"Your graphics card supports Aero de Windows interface.
    -Processor: 2.1 GHz
-3.0 GB of RAM (I know it's 4 GB but 32-bit vista can not handle the truth)
    -80.7 GB free on C:

The consultant warn me that I'll have to do a clean install, rather than an upgrade. I'm not worried about it, I can back up my files to an external hard drive.

What I want to know is, I will certainly be able to upgrade Vista Home Premium 32 bit to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, with the upgrade kit here http://store.digitalriver.com/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayHomePage&Locale=en_GB&SiteID=msshgb at the bottom of the page?

    Thanks for your help.

You will need to do a clean install, there is no place on the way to upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.

Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed.

    Upgrade paths:
When important changes to your computer, for example an upgrade, it is always recommended that you back up your system before installing a new version of Windows. In your case, you can upgrade to Windows 7 depending on the edition and the architecture of Windows Vista, you have installed. If you are running a 32-bit version of Vista and upgrade to a 64-bit (Windows 7 edition) version, you'll have a pure make install, it is the opposite case.

If you are using Windows Vista Home Basic or Premium consumer editions, you can only upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate. Also, you can make the downgrades, which means, if you are running Windows Vista Ultimate Edition now, you cannot downgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium. You perform logical upgrades:

Windows Vista Home Basic > Windows 7 Home Basic, Premium or Ultimate
Windows Vista Edition Home Premium > Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate
Windows Vista Business > Windows 7 Professional, enterprise or ultimate edition
Windows Vista Business > Windows 7 Enterprise
Windows Vista Ultimate > Windows 7 Ultimate. Andre Da Costa http://adacosta.spaces.live.com http://www.activewin.com

  • Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade will allow an upgrade from Vista Home Premium x 64 to Windows 7 Ultimate x 64?

I bought a HP laptop with Windows Vista Edition Home Premium x 64 in April 08.  If I buy a Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade, SKU: GLC-00184, I'll be able to upgrade to windows 7 Home Premium x 64 or Windows 7 Ultimate x 64?

The http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/help/upgrading-from-windows-vista-to-windows-7?T1=tab02 table seems to indicate that would be the case.  On the other hand, it does not seem logical that we could move from Vista Ultimate or vVsta HP to Win7 Ultimate for the same price.

    Thanks for the clarification.

Yes, you can make a place in Windows Vista Edition upgrade Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate.

When important changes to your computer, for example an upgrade, it is always recommended that you back up your system before installing a new version of Windows. In your case, you can upgrade to Windows 7 depending on the edition and the architecture of Windows Vista, you have installed. Code GFC symbolizes the product depending on the location in most cases and in some cases, this has to do with the versions.

The GFC-00019 is a commercial container 32 and 64-bit disk operating system version. TheGFC-00564 is a 32 bit OEM version. A commercial version can be installed on any computer. But always alone at the same time. But if you install on a computer (and then he got damaged without repair possible) and then I bought another you can install it on the new computer.

An OEM copy can only be installed on computers. If this computer got far beyond repair that you can not use it again as with the retail version. You can install the OEM as many times as you like on the original computer.

  • Where can I find my product code for Home Premium?

I keep are asked to put in my code to check my product, but the code on the label on the bottom will not and the trial version is ex officio. I can't find the product code for Home Premium preinstalled. It wasn't the tape inside the box.

The product key on the bottom of your computer is for Windows 7 (which should come already active). This product key cannot be used to activate a trial version of MS Office. For activation of Office, you must buy the key product/appropriate for MS Office.

  • I'm looking for a Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium downgrade my 10 Windows on my computer hp pavilion dv6 laptop?

    Help.

I have this hp pavilion dv6 bought in 2012 in Singapore. This laptop came with a pre-installed windows 7 Home premium 64-bit. Earlier this year, I got the free update of Windows 10 and I was happily obliged to update my windows 7 to windows 10.

Few things I know, updates do not automatically at level my other drivers and software that was running smoothly in my laptop before upgrading. That was include my external hard drive I used to back up all my files once a month. My external hard drive has been iomega eGo 2 TB of capacity.

To cut the story short, I now want to downgrade to Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit, one I had before, as many of my software are more able to run smoothly, and my hard drive with all my important data is now inaccessible, whenever I plugged the HDD in my pc.

I always kept my original product key for windows, but I can't find a reliable source where I can download it again and reinstall it to replace the windows 10 today running on my laptop.

Can someone help me with this?

    Thank you.

    David.
