Looking for manual

I'm looking for the manual that will tell me what all the lights, buttons and things; that means this light flashes or how to change the mouse or how to make the mouse pad of the way you like.  I found some of them, but they are everywhere.  I would like to find them in one place, if possible.  I have a 4510 s HP's ProBook with Windows 7 on it.  Thanks for your help.

    Hereis the manual for Indesign. I don't have addresses for other practical applications but the other day I tried a one Incopy and I just changed Indesign in the address bar to Incopy and it took me straight to him.  Notice the PDF symbol at the top right of the page to download a PDF of it.

    I am trying to solve some problems on the PC of my mother for him and she not Vista operating instructions supplied with the installation of the plant on his Dell Inspiron 531.

    But it turns out there are some out there in free download e-book/PDF manuals, and one for Windows 7 is quite comprehensive, edited by a guy named Rich Robinson on http://mintywhite.com/books/ ...     It's a little complicated to register on this site... I click on a link to a book, then on the page following, I get my email address, then I get an email confirming my registration, by which I can get an e-mail newsletter every day with a new password to download e-books. If the newsletter has already been sent to this day there, I click a 2nd link in this email in order to receive another email with the password... then by clicking a link in the 2nd e-mail, I get to the page where I did enter the password... so I can download e-books... as easy as 1-2-3... 4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11...

    TIP: the password appears to be the same thing every day, or was yesterday and today it's 'mintywhiteBooks '... How sneaky.

    For a minute there, I thought that this site was a kind of lure because on the page "to subscribe/instructions", where I get my e-mail, there are 2 jpeg images that resemble password fields and links, but they are not... I'm not sure of what those who are for.
    This mintywhite.com seems to be quite the site for amateurs and Windows technicians.

  • How can I determine ID for more bluetooth wireless mice for manual synchronization.

    I'm not a fan of the new magic mouse 2 bit.  My old pairs of magic mouse easily on one of my 2 new iMacs, but not the other.  The problem computer says that I need to manually enter the ID of my magic mouse to pair bluetooth manually. I don't know how to find it? Help, please.

    HP sells the touchpad with the top cover, then only the whole top cover has a part number.

    You can sometimes find a seller on eBay who collapsed the top cover and will sell the Board of Directors of the touchpad, but are there no instructions in the manual how to work with this:

    HARD drive recovery can not be downloaded.
    You can not download the recovery disc as well.

    Generally, recovery disc HARD must be available on your laptop and you should be able to start this pressing F8 at the beginning of the initialization.
    Simply said: turn on the device, press F8 immediately after the laptop was turned on maybe you will have to press F8 several times in the line
    Then choose fix my computer and then you should see the drive HARD recovery option.

    If this is not available (no matter why), then you must create a recovery disc using called Recovery disk Creator tool that must be preinstalled on the laptop.

    Use your P/N on hp pilot site and find the service manual and see what the cottage to OD it uses and you can then use to refer to what DVD player burner you can get. And if it's a Sata Drive more recent OD are sata you just have to make sure that it is a DVD burner and then swap the front to match the original.

  • Looking for potential keyloggers

    MacBook Pro Mac OS X (10.7.5), activity (10.7.4) monitor, Terminal (2.2.3)

    I want to make sure that my computer is not a malicious keylogger infect. The discussions on this site, I searched and found this - keylogger detection - one I didn't not really it, especially the parties on the use of Terminal or what they call the grain or 'man', but the marked resolved commentary concludes that keyloggers can only get (or most likely) on manually or through sharing services (which I assume are under system preferences > sharing which I don't use anyway).

    Well, just to be sure, I've been watching the programs in my activity monitor:

    It's a little hard to follow because the list keeps getting longer or shorter. I found this list - deals with the Description of Mac OS X: by triviaware - and in her view, none of these programs are malicious.

    However, some of the programs in the activity monitor are not listed on the Web page I found (e.g. detection device, kernel_task, Safari Web Content and any program starting with Sophos) and some of them seem to appear more than once in the activity monitor (e.g. CVMCompiler, distnoted, launchd, UserEventAgent, xpchelper).

    My question is:

    1. Can anyone recommend a method of detection of keyloggers?
    2. One of these programs look suspicious?
    3. Can someone explain Terminal?

    Sophos is so-called "security software" that was installed, personally I don't think that you need, but it's your call. OS X will try to prevent known malware to run so the anti-virus scanner is probably not necessary (normally, they waste resources like RAM, time processor that you can be used elsewhere). Some companies require these elements to be installed, it might help if you share a lot of files with Windows users.

    kernel_task is the first process, the system starts at the start - don't mess with it: it's 'zero process' everything else works essentially on top of that.

    If you search around you will find other ways to possibly detect keyloggers, frankly they are all involved & you can be better to erase the OS & reset all passwords if you believe that the machine is compromised.

    You can get better help here, explaining why you think a key logger is installed, OS X should be safe if you follow some basic guidelines as to avoid to use the administrator account to work inside (using a standard user account instead) and do not install any software randomly from the internet.

    If the Mac is left unattended in a public place, anyone may be able to install the software if the admin password is known. Unattended Mac should require a password for login, be stopped when left or have the screensaver settings to require a password.

    The "kextstat" command in this post you linked to bows "kernel extensions" are very low-level 'plugins' who have the ability to modify the operating system for all users. Keyloggers can use it as a method to access the key, but there are probably other ways that a key logger can always run.

    How to find drivers for the motherboard? I can't find the disk for the drivers and I would like to get a manual because when I start computer I get an error:

  • "looking for credential tiles" - unsuccessful removal of Veriface and ReadyComm - HELP :(

    I did some research and tried and called and did everything, but can't seem to get my Lenovo to play nice.

    I bought this computer only a month or two before and have placed since my materials of the entire work here so a total rebuild of the system's very unnatractive.

    My main problem is, when I put up Outlook 2010 (expensive full version) with my exchange account that is hosted by Go Daddy (who were very patient with me and all my calls - it was also the expensive full version and all settings have been checked several times so it isn't a fault it), if I config it automatically or manually , the "Windows - Microsoft Outlook security - connection to [name]@[domain].com - looking for credential tiles]" pop box and will not die.

    I have read the forums and I saw that people had success uninstall (or the less disabling) ReadyComm (which was very difficult to find, but I did) and VeriFace I went and made through Control Panel.

    I restarted my computer and VeriFace has obviously not been eliminated, and the message of credential tiles was always there.

    I started my computer in safe mode, fact the msconfig and c:\programdata steps, actually purchased a software that promised to help me remove programs during good behaviour and all nothing is helping.

    I'm at the point now where I just want out of here, all programs from Lenovo (even if I'm afraid of the stuffing something upward) and all the downtime of not being able to use Outlook correctly (and trying to uninstall everything) drives me crazy.

    I actually did call to Geeks2U services, and even they couldn't fix it.

    Why is it so difficult to get around this? How can I make without a comprehensive re - build? Is there anyone out there?

    I do some reading in the tiles credential... my apologies in advance, as I'm not familiar with windows key rings.

    It seems that your research is correct: VeriFace interferes with the authentication system.

    Have you tried to reinstall VeriFace from the site, so that you can do a complete uninstall of it? If this does not work, could you post the errors that occur in your event viewer? There could be an indication as to where the authentication will fail.
