  Have a SQL database that is about 500GB and will be gro to about 550GB before becoming an archive. This is an extract from DB, we are a hospital and use Meditech. A product called PICIS extracts data from this Repo DB data. It's on some old HW. I want to move it to a virtual machine. Can I create a giant VMDK file and copy the DB to it or I can introduce the logical unit number that is on as a disc ntfs on a virtual machine?

  The db guys want to build me a new physical box, I was thinking long term, that it is like a virtual machine as it is is more written in and will be for reference only.

  The size is a bit out of place when making this decision.  If you have the storage space on the SAN, then the volume VMFS or RDM approach would work.  To generalize - this 550 GB database will need little additional free space on the end of it, as well.  Add in additional free space for the VMFS volume, and you look a VMDK fill somewhere near that many people use for the typical sizes of their VMFS volumes.  There is a volume size maximum of 2 TB for VMFS volumes, without going into degrees, so it is easily possible to go to the VMFS approach.  Using RDMs seemed to be a more clean approach for me.  An additional advantage would be can easily FC reach the same volume of a physical server RDM subsequently, if there is still a need.

  One of the most appropriate to determine factors to determine whether or not to virtualize this workload should measure the load this database server will require to go forward.  Ideally, you want to base the current CPU server and physical measurement, memory, network and disk IOPS / s.  This information, coupled with your knowledge of your current environment, should tell you whether or not it would be a good candidate for virtualization.

  As with most things in the virtual world, it's a little difficult to generalize.  Measures and/or the real numbers are much better, where possible.

  I am considering buying a Z2100 used to, essentially, a few cents of a liquidator for recovery.  The printer has remained for months with no cartridge but some print heads (I know are probably trash). I have an another Z2100 that I can borrow the ink and the heads of the test, but only after I have to engage in the purchase and replace the timing belt.

  What should I look for? I don't mind sinking maybe $1000 in there, but I'm evaluating my risk of becoming much more expensive.

  Z2100 8 color and print quality has not as good as the 12 colors like Z3200 etc.

  If you serious about print quality, sped up your money for the newer model.

  Some routers will define a limited number of simultaneous connections. Domestic routers rarely do because the assumption is that the environment will not include such a high number.

  Ideally in a commercial environment you would separate on the hardware connection since the hardware firewall. It depends on the type of connection (ADSL?).

  3 things you want to check.  First of all do run all the reports of service that will tell you the status of all ink tanks, print heads and, possibly, the gas station.  Expiration dates are more important on the printheads on the ink tanks. To run a print head calibration routine to make sure that the printer is.  Finally, open the hood and look at the State of the drive belt.  See if it looks worn out as a substitute, it can be expensive.  Looking for black particles bearing under the belt like that indicates the level of wear.  There will always be a few particles, but a lot is present which could indicate that the belt is near time of replacement.

  This depends on how much storage you need.  You can spend with a HARD drive classic if you need a lot of storage up to 1 TB, or if you want you can go with an SSD of speed. You can get a HARD drive of 1 TB for what it can cost to buy a 250 GB SSD.  You can get the SSD more great but costs as much as your computer is interesting.

  If you are interested in an SSD is a good starting point: https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/ssd/owc you do not have to buy from them, but it will tell you everything that is involved with the installation of an SSD.

  For a HARD disk, I went with a Hitachi model in my MacBook.  I read reviews of web on sites like Amazon when purchasing technology (keeping in mind the people who do not have problems with a model are less likely to view only those who do and deserves to be done reading the negative comments to see if their complaint is justified), so any model will have some negative reviews.  For portable players with the ability, I wanted THAT HGST seemed to have the best odds.

  If you go for a HARD drive one other thing to consider is the rotation speed. Your old computer has a drive 5400 RPM in there. This consumes less energy and work more cost but, making it slower.  If you do not have to be also considering the battery life or temperature, you could install a 7200 RPM drive.

  I hope someone here can help me out. I'm looking for a tool/addon that can report exactly what on the page will raise an error of mixed content. The browser will tell me something on the page is not sure, but it doesn't tell me where or which is not secure, so I can fix it.

  Here is my recent example of this problem.
  I had a problem with a HTTPS page with one doubleclick on it tracking pixel. It was an iframed of pixel on the tracking of the standard page and iframed page was HTTPS without any problem of cert. It turned out that the current iframed page has a javascript call which was HTTP and this triggers the error of mixed content.

  Unfortunately it took me almost two days to understand iframed pages was the no-ssl, not anything on the site.

  If someone here could help me find a tool or point to a browser feature that I don't know who could help sniff me these fastest mixed content error would make you my life so much easier.

  You can glean some more information the Console browser Firefox (Ctrl + Shift + j). Mixed content blocks generate a log entry in the Security category. If you mix in the filter area in the upper right of the console, which should help down on the message. (Example screenshot attached.)

  Now... you still need to understand what generates the request, but I hope it helps.

  If in a shop, how they showed it, surely they had the support provided with the game when they got it.

  In any case, have you tried to contact Toshiba Australia, as any contact, personally, I've had with them has been helpful, and I think they suggest a plan of action to be undertaken, if they cannot provide the correct position of the stock.

  All of this assumes that you are in Australia, of course!

  For this particular model, I could not find another A40 Pro which has a DVD - RW, only DVD ROM. I also suggest to buy an external DVD - RW writer because an internal hard drive will cost much more. Probably triple what external there. External, you can find for about 50 but internal will cost at least about 90 more taxes. I'm sure it is internal that correspond to this machine, but at the moment I don't have the time to research each compatible model search of the car, it's why I suggest an external drive. I hope this helps.
