Looksafe Yahoo search result

My address bar would take me to Google before, but now it redirects to yahoo, I have no addons except adblock and I ran, various programs to attempt to clean my PC, including malware bytes, adwcleaner, junkware removal tool, even the searchreset for firefox extension and nothing has worked. I also tried to get into the subject: config to change my preferences and that doesn't work anymore. I have reset firefox and still nothing, I don't know what I can do please help me.

I just started to use Yahoo search, and here an addon that removes the links from the search results and just redirect allows me to click on the URL link. When I was with Google, I used difficulty of Wladimir Palant of link Google Search (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/google-search-link-fix/?src=userprofile), but it does not work on Yahoo.

  • not meet the standards of Yahoo Search

As much as I dislike Google-everything on the Web, just as I don't like Microsoft-everything on my computer, Yahoo search is not very useful. I decided to make my default to Google search on Firefox for the following reason.

Yahoo, when looking for the obscure terms will give me search results that match my mandate to search for a t-shirt, but the results are other search engine results the same question. I found a lot, and when, two too many unknown so far, as well as search engines need to Ask, another useless search engine. A Yahoo search led, and toward an announcement of listing by Ask Yahoo, which in turn led me to, which in turn led me to Ask ~ closed loop.

Google to the opportunity to get together, but I really have to hunt for automatic registration. If I want to find something outside a property owned by Google, I use Google Minus Google search. Actually found a web page of the University that better explained something on a Google service that I find on Google "help". Google search for google minus google to find this one.

I did my default to Google search in the address bar, but I can't select Yahoo in the search bar. I'll give Yahoo a chance from time to time.

For all those who wish to put the default search to Google, simply open the Options and go to the 'search' tab. Select Google or another choice in the first entry. This will outline the default engine for use in the address bar (which Firefox calls the address bar), the search bar and the search fields on the pages of the Firefox Start Page and tabs.

In the following window, deselect the search engines you want to hide from view as alternative choices for use in the search bar.

Screenshot shows me using the window of old style instead of the default Options tab. I have restored only in the words: configuration page using advice found elsewhere in the knowledge base.

My second screen shot is of the search bar, in which I'm looking for "my words here" without the quotes, am clicking on the magnifying glass (black pointer) and displays the current default research and additional choices I have made available for myself.

By clicking on the magnifying glass to view this list, and then clicking on the engine I want to send my search, I come up with this page in the tab search engine I have open results.

  • How the * can I get rid of Yahoo search - Firefox still refuses my changes at the next startup.

    Work in Win10.
Firefox refuses to keep the changes I made to remove Yahoo.
Remove all browsers except Google - next time you start it again Yahoo!
No other browser has been replaced, with the exception of Yahoo.

It's very 'big brother', which I don't expect Firefox.

After spending hours fighting it, I'm at the "tip" of let - pun.

It seems you might have a bit of malicious software on this PC. I see an extension named Hub of results which is known as bearer of Malware.
Why don't you see if removing "garbage" that gets rid of your problem with Yahoo search 'come back' at the next startup, which is a symptom of Malware.
    http://malwaretips.com/blogs/ads-by-see-results-hub-removal/

When finished remove that, please install this extension - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/ - as a final step to get some reset preferences to default values. Note - that extension will run during installation and then disappear.

  • I created a Web site, how can I make it visible to others in Mozilla search results?

    Dear Mozilla community,

I just finished creating information website www.darimulutkemulut.com (DMM) which provides the possibility of publishing a few free classifieds. The site focuses mainly on visitors to the Indonesia, but can be used by everyone.

What will do to make the site become visible to others in the Mozilla search engine results? At the moment research Mozilla provides no search results for my site. The only opportunity to open the site - whether to put his name in the address bar. But normally people just use the search engine.

    Please advise, thank you

    Concerning
    Alex

"Mozilla" is not a "search engine" - it makes the programs that use the internet. Google, Bing and Yahoo are search engines, among others.

Firefox, Chrome, IE, and Safari are web browsers.

As far as http://www.darimulutkemulut.com goes, is always at the same begins to loading in America North and never loads completely enough for me to see any content at all.

This area does not seem to have an IP address assigned to it.

  • My Google search results screen is suddenly very small in Firefox 35.0.1

When I've upgraded to this version of Firefox, my default search engine has become Yahoo. I then used your directions to move to Google, but the display of results on Google are extremely low, while other search engines results remain at normal size. I don't want to start the zoom to increase the results display as then the Web sites I will be too large. I'm a consultant in marketing communications and must use Google to help my clients with SEO features.

I tried to attach screenshots of Firefox and Bing search results so you could see the difference, but they do not load. I'm on an iMac 10.7.5

Thank you both for responding. I am aware of the functionality of Zoom, but not the non-strabisme that I'll add to my toolbar.

Zoom was not the way I wanted to go because I didn't want to change how other Web sites appears. And did not constantly be buzzing in and out.

However, in the meantime, the problem disappeared. Not sure why it happened and why it disappeared, but for now it works correctly and all right.

  • Huge topics (URL links) appearing in Google search results

Since about a week or two ago (URL links) topics that appear in the Google search results I was huge.
I don't think this inconvenience comes from Google, because it does not happen with Internet Explorer 8. Furthermore, I believe that Google would not leave this question open for so long. In addition, it is less obvious when Firefox opens Yahoo. In short, it is a matter of "Firefox with Google".

    I run Firefox 27.0.1

    Thank you.

    Alkis

It's a good idea to test things in safe mode, but please be aware that not every change of setting will be reset in safe mode. So, reset can still solve the problem. Another thing you can try removes cookies (especially those estate of google), and the zoom reset, something could have with that before. Here's how to reset the zoom level: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/font-size-and-zoom-increase-size-of-web-pages

  • all google search results link same "scraper" web site and random content

In my google for a topic search results, links to many of the results (not wikipedia, but most of the other sites 'reliable') lead to the same redirect URL: Search - milk .net, which then redirects to all kinds of content, random and other unwanted web pages. It's like having a pop up ad to support the browser. Should what settings I use to control these redirects in google? It doesn't looking for yahoo, BTW.

    Hello

I don't know accurate information about research-milk, but this article should help you as she issues similar documents with "misappropriation of research."

  • Navigation Bar raise search results; no direct web page?

I use Google as my home page and the bar very high, where you are supposed to be able to type in an address and it takes you directly to the site, I think is disabled. Now when I go to type in the address, he brings just search results. I looked all over trying to figure out what is wrong, but nothing is. Help!

Sometimes - if I use Google, Yahoo, etc.. Any page that I use is the same, so I'm... 99.999% sure that this is a problem with Firefox.

Ah! Looks like you have replaced your address bar with the search bar. I recommend to reset things to the default value.

Follow the instructions here controls, buttons and Toolbars Customize Firefox but instead of customization, click restore default.
