LR 3.3 import dialog box - import can be filtered by file type?
I sometimes use a Canon S95 point and shoot and get around the problem of having RAW images AND a certain aspect (e.g. square) ratio is to shoot with the RAW + JPEG setting. This allows me to draw in any aspect ratio with out cropping in post. For this reason, my LR import dialog box indicates the RAW images and the corresponding JPEG images. Often, I would just empty JPEG files and keep the RAWs.
Is it possible to check or select just the RAWs other than having to hand check each RAW while avoiding selective JPEG images. In other words, is there a way to filter or to separate what you want to import by file type.
Thanks for your help!
Lr import module is not supported filtering by file type, but you can use a Lr plug-in to achieve the same result. Further details at http://www.robcole.com/Rob/ProductsAndServices/ImporterLrPlugin/index.cfm

When I get an attachment to an email (using Zimbra Imail, Firefox, Windows XP Pro) and I click on it and select 'Download', I get the dialog box "enter the name of the file to save on...» "(because I already have the option"always ask me where to save files. "But the view of default file always in a 'list '. At least recently. I don't remember it always does this. In any case, I want the value default to a 'Détails' view, in ascending order, I can find then things so much faster that way. (I often use the 'Update' tab to bring up, the latest version of a file.) I know that I can go to the Menu 'view' icon and select 'Détails', but whenever I go in a sub-folder in this dialog box, I have to do this all over again and it wastes a lot of time and attention.
I did some research on the internet but have not found a way to solve this problem.
Try this:
a. open my documents, press the alt key.
b. click on Tools. Click on folder options.
c. click on the view tab and select Reset and check records.

* original title - libraries and some type of file
Hello
Libraries should show only the files that are contained in the files that you add to this library.
Example:
In Windows Explorer, select the Document library.
In the window display on the right, click the link x sites in the top/left of the window.
This will open a dialog box displays all the folders that have been added to this library.
By default, the Library of Documents should show the folders My Documents and public records .
If there is other records showing that you don't want in this library, Select the folder and click on the Remove button.
You can also right click the documentslibrary, in the Part of Navigation and select Properties. At the bottom of the Properties dialog box, click on the button by default is restore to remove all additional files have been added.
Tell us what you find.

I dragged a URL in the URL box - in this case a 2nd Yahoo! email login address so I could quickly switch between accounts - in the toolbar links (the one with the "Most visited" link.
Noting that the new URL link didn't have a Yahoo! icon I right click on the link and found that there is no option to change the URL link icon to, well, anything (!) as we can do for most of the files in Windows Explorer.
I could change the text label of the link without problem.
Is he buried somewhere else in Firefox the ability to do so and if so where?
If not can this option included in the dialog box properties of links in the future, please?
I would be really grateful one answer I know that my question has not fallen into the "bit bucket".
See you soon,.

Thank you

Hello
It's absolutely to do a custom pop dialog that warn you when there is a big pdf for printing.
However you will need JavaScript to create a code to perform this function.
You can see the following link for the same.

How can I change the file type extension?
Help please!
I was working in Paint.net and thought that my changes have been saved but I incorrectly saved in Paint.net it as 'nom.1' and making it inaccessible to paint.net or any program being the type of file 'file '. I then changed the name of "long.bmp", and who seemed like he did to be accessible but Paint.net is still not open it. On another file that I made the same mistake on, I changed the name to "name2.pdn" that worked and I am able to open it properly. I tried to change the name on the premiere of "name.pdn" in Windows Explorer, but for this file, it only changes the name "name.pdn" and not the extension. It's always a ".bmp" file How can I change to a file real '.pdn '?
Thanks for the help

InCopy CS5 can save a CS4 file type
I'm managing an e-learning project that requires a group of writers to use InCopy. Everyone including our client uses IC CS4, but one of my writers who could not find anything other than the latest version. If it uses the CS5 version is there a way to save on a compatible file CS4 that I can send it to the customer? For example, I know that Flash CS4 can save in a file format of CS3. Thank you.
It can work if the only consideration is the actual content. But on the calibration and the line breaks are likely to be turned off due to different text engines. Not recommended.

Hello
What was the program you were using and what has been the extension of file/format. You probably need
check with the support of the program.--------------------------------------------
It could be a codec problem:
Start - type in the search box-> Winver find upstairs and double click on - check version
You need Codec - get these if 32-bit

If 64-bit Vista - can run WMP in 32 or 64 bit mode.
Or try these: download - SAVE - go to the place where your put them RIGHT CLICK – RUN AS ADMIN.
For 32-bit use these - OR those listed above that I prefer.
K - Lite Codec Pack 5.0.5 & K-Lite Codec Pack 5.0.5 update

I only suggest:
1. use Windows Live Skydrive to transfer the cbs log. Then send us a link in the newspaper.
But apparently you don't have SkyDrive.SkyDrive is free and is part of the Windows Live products. Consider installing it.

Hello, the mobile version of firefox is not available on the windows phone platform: Firefox work on my mobile?
There was technical and legal obstacles in the app store initially that discouraged mozilla to start any developments in this direction. I do not know the current situation, but given that mozilla is now focusing its efforts on the creation of firefox os as a platform open source web-based, I doubt you'll see firefox on your windows phone device in the foreseeable future...

How can I get the file type?
Hello
I try to get the type of a specified file. But I don't want to get the file extension.
Instead I used the UNIX file command:
file - mime-type myfile.myExtension
Then I execute this command in my java class using the exec() method. Everything works fine. The main problem is that I need the file command in my BONES. If I run my java code on a Windows machine, it does not work. So, I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to get the type of file in a different way?.
Kind regards
HopcroftA quick search on google (java file mime type) faces up to this:

There is certainly no reliable way, but perhaps one that is listed on this page is "good enough."
