LR4.1 - is there a way to speed up 'zoom' 1:1?

I use the Canon 7 d dng files.  When I zoom 1:1, it takes about 7 seconds to make the display.  When you go through 200-300 pictures to check the update, of course this adds a lot at a time.  I use a 24 "monitor @ 1920 x 1200, and if I do the image display area as small as possible, it takes about 6.5 seconds to make the display (loading...)."

Is there a way to make it faster?  Can I preload images with zoom in the database for a collection of photos?  I love LR, and I'm not interested in bashing the product.  I just want to maximize its pass.  Also, I know that the thread "Lightroom is slow," explains an extract 1:1.  I just ask this question more precisely as to not be part of a general complaint about LR.

Thank you.

Have you given previews of 1:1 in advance?  Otherwise, select all the photos in the grid view and go to the menu library > Previews > render 1:1 previews and wait until it finishes.

  • Is there a way to speed up the RK4 screws?

One of the oldest parts of my application is a simulation of a vector with a value of using the integrated RK4 screw to NiGmathlib. Simulations tend to have about 100 k series of this VI, with 1 k will take about 200ms. If I were to use an implementation of RK4 C under a function node, this would maybe go faster? Or do I just reduce the number of time steps?

Is there a specific lead-time, you must realize, or interest you by speeding up the performance in general?

If an implementation of code C of the RK4 would go more quickly depends on many factors such as the specific implementation of the code, how compilers translate the code, and if so or not the LabVIEW VI or C code is able to take advantage of parallel execution. If you are interested to know which is faster, your best bet is to try each idea. Change him much time seems like the easier, so why not start there and see what you can do?

  • Milo: Is there a way to change a zoom box proportionally?

Sometimes I want to zoom in on a photo, but I want to be sure that the original of the picture proportions remain the same.

I had hoped that I could use the zoom tool and drag the corner to hold the shift (like change the size of a selection of free transform).

but I remembered that gives only the mobile dotted, not anything resizable or furniture.

I can do it in several steps by

    (1) draw a rectangle of the same size as the original (with a low opacity that I can see through it),

    2) resize it to what I like to look through it.

    (3) harvest in this format, then

    (4) delete the rectangle

but it seems that he's got to be a quicker way.

What you're doing resembles what the crop tool does. If you drag the crop on the entire image tool, you can then shift to keep the proportions and the same when you resize the cropped area.

    HI mary08,

Welcome to the community of Sony!

The camera doesn't have the ability to crop or resize the image. To do this, you can use the software House Playmemories to change the image.

  • After auto-update today I stupidly agreed to return to its default state of Firefox. Is there a way I can undo this? (I lost all my sites speed dial).

After installation auto-implementation to date this morning a dialog box appears asking you if I want to go back to its default state of Firefox. I foolishly said yes and now I lost all my Speed Dial, URLs and passwords registered thumbnails. Is there any way I can cancel it to go back to the way Firefox has been implemented and work yesterday?

No, no, unless you have backed up your Firefox profile to restore the default state.

Is there a way to delete / remove the fax log?

    Hello

To my previous quote the second method must have erased the log of faxes do not know why it does not clear.
Try following these steps to reset.

    Reset partial:

    1. make sure that the unit is ON. Now, unplug the power cable from the device.

    2. press and hold # and 3 while plugging in the power cord

3 release the buttons when the product control panel indicates "partial Zero".

Sometimes the printer turns off by itself, you can release the button and use the power button

Turn the DEVICE, it now reads "Partial reset" and follow the instructions to set up

Note: To perform this reset the power cable must be unplugged and plugged it back as needed.

    Reset of semi-complete

  • Is there a way to make a disc ssd to work on an Inspiron E1405 with AHCI enabled?

Recently I branch a new samsung 256 gb 840pro ssd drive for my E1405, but I discovered that the bios does not have the option to switch to AHCI mode which is necessary for the new disc.  Is there a way to get out of this limitation, or I just need to live with it?

    Thanks Jackshack.

He did actually work and its much faster than my old drive.  However, I felt disappointed because the sequential read and write speeds was approximately 120 as opposed to my desktop computer, which is AHCI enabled processor intel core i5 with 6 GB of RAM on Windows 7, which uses the same drive was about 250 MB/s.

Also, if you'd respond, how is it with AHCI enabled, the sequential transmissions are much lower than the maximum possible speed of 540/530 MB / s, even if my desktop is much more newer than my laptop?  What are the possible bottlenecks in this case?

    Kind regards.

Piece of cake. Just make a slight change to the boundary conditions:

  • Is there a way to upload my iWeb site?

I lost my iWeb domain, is there a way to access my site and download it?

    Kind regards

    Paul

Yes, you can access your site on your server and if you connect to your server with a program such as Cyberduck ftp, then you can download your iWeb site files, but remember that as he is a published site, these are all html files and it won't be good for you because iWeb is no import , so will be unable to open html files.

If you have lost your domain.sites files that iWeb uses, then you will need to re - build your Web site from scratch, but as iWeb is not taken in charge and for the past 4 years, I would re-build your site with another application that it is actively updated.

Take a look at EverWeb here.

  • Is there a way to read the settings in a .pst file?

    Hi all!

I looked everywhere for info on this and found nothing. Anyone know how to read the settings contained in a .pst file? I found some that I really like, but would like to know what they are doing. In other words, what are the different used FX and what are their settings? I would use some other users have created as a starting point to create my own channels of FX. Open in a text editor doesn't show something like:

    @^@^@D^@^A^A^@^@^@^@^KEMAGPPST^@^@^A^H^@^@^@^@Âp^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@¿< 80 > ^ @^ @^ @^ @^ @^ @^ @^ @^ @^ @^ @^ @^ @^ @? < 80 > ^ @^ @@ ^ @^ @^ @

Is there a way to show somehow what they do and what they use the settings?

    Thank you!

You're right, the settings file contain only of the code when opened in a text editor.

But why don't you just open settings in a project, this way of seeing exactly what Plugins are loaded. Opening of the plug-in window will show you their parameters.

The only restriction is that GarageBand has only a limited view of Plugin window which can not show all settings. To do this you must open in Logic Pro X.

    Hope that helps
