  I use Windows 7. I reinstall my Windows 7 and since then, most of my file become encrypted (Green shows in Explorer).

  Points to note:

  Safe MODE does not help.
  I am logged on as administrator, what makes it more frustrating.

  I do not know of the all other folders that Act up like this.

  Ok. so please try the following:

  Make sure that the HP Solution Center is not closed.

  Enter C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP\Digital Imaging\bin and search for the file hpqxmlul.dll .

  Move this file to a temporary folder elsewhere as your office, just to backup porpuses.

  Download and save the following file to your desktop, remove it by double-clicking, a new hpqxmlul.dll file appears on your desktop.

  Move this file in C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP\Digital Imaging\bin.

  Now, launch the HP Solution Center and try scanning.

I followed all of the fixes recommended for this question, that I have found here and on the internet. Fine, I can print from any other program. Unfortunately, the error message keeps popping up, and I can't print.

  I started a conversation with the support, they took control of my PC and that fixed it.  Was not fast, but they basically reset the PS preferences.  They made sure to back up all my custom templates, forms, actions, etc., before be reset and it worked.
