LV2010 build request: error 1498 for LV class default Value.vi

I am creating an application (exe) with LabVIEW 2010 Professional Development System SP1 (32-bit) file. The operating system is Windows 7 Professional (64 bit). Unfortunately I get this error when I click on "build specifications/New/Application (EXE):"

Here is the full error message

Possible reasons:

LabVIEW: Library has errors. Correct the errors before performing this operation.

LabVIEW has tried to load the class in this path:
C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2010\vi.lib\AppBuilder\AB_Classes\Build\UI\AB_UI_Frmwk_Build.lvclass

The file is definitely available.

Well, this is also the code :-)

Do you know what happens? I guess that one cannot not so complicated to create an executable file. I'm doing something wrong?

Thank you, Nick

Hmmm you could try doing a repair of LabVIEW. Go to start > Control Panel > add and remove programs > National Instruments > modify (repair) LabVIEW. This will go through and make sure it has the correct paths to the request of the manufacturer. Let me know if it works

  • Why can I not use Get LV class Default Value in a dynamic VI?

I'm trying to substitute a VI that uses 'Get default class LV value' and get an error that I do not understand.  My parent, 'Message class of ANT' class, has two children - "Class ANT from the command" and "ANT-class response.  Children participate a lot of data and features, including the factory pattern that implements 'Load Message class' VI of the superclass (see image).  I would replace this VI with a version of command and a version of the response, which would simply call the version of the Message with their respective classes of the substitution of dynamic input and output terminals.  However, I get the error "Front Panel"ANT Out class Message"Terminal: type of execution do not spread of dynamic input to dynamic output.»

Don't know how to get around it.  Any ideas?

    Thank you

    -Jamie

That sounds like a strange thing to do - what you will do is to return the default value for the entry class. What is the reason for the class loader of the disc? You SHOULD have already loaded the class in memory, because the output type MUST be the same as the input type (this is a requirement of dynamic distribution work, because the error is telling you). Since you already have the class that is loaded in memory, there is an easier way to get the default value: wiring a loop For iteration 0, and the entry class through wire directly to the output class, with tunnels on the inputs and outputs (NOT shift registers). As the loop never executes, the output is the default value for this class (see https://lavag.org/topic/15354-testing-for-the-same-class/#entry92502).

Replace "to more specific class" with "class of Run-Time to preserve" will also work, but still, I can't understand why you try to do it at all.

  • Build the error associated with a class - why?

I have a class that I am creating I can use in any application as a utility class to call the browser.

However, when I add this class to an application - any application, including the HelloCascades - the build fails.

By comparing the console logs I see this at the end of a good generation (without this class)

I build to debug on the Simulator.  I tried the built device and these failure too.  I also tried 3 Beta and Beta 4.

If you look hard you will see in the Console log this:

    ZN2bb6system13InvokeRequest11setMimeTypeERK7QString

Now if I comment the line defining the Mime type, this changes then to complain about

    _ZN2bb6system13InvokeRequest6setUriERK7QString

My apologies in advance for the code.  Probably more like to kill, and I'm sure that the code I created is bad c ++, since in reality, I'm a Java learning C++ programmer.  But that being said, I would still like t understand why this class causes the build error.

    TIA

I call get the Default Value.vi LV class to dynamically load a class.

It was working fine until I added Open Config Data.vi to read an .ini file.

The application works fine when I press the button RUN in the LabView development environment, but when I create the executable file with Application Builder and then run it, I get:

    Test.VI

LabVIEW has tried to load the class in this path:

    g:\cal\devices\Digital300Meter\Digital300Meter.lvclass

I narrowed the problem down to open Config Data.vi included in the application, not in the class. I don't have to call the Open Data of Config vi to get this error.

I have a Subvi, called "SelectDevice" which refers to Open Data from Config. In my main Test.vi SelectDevice is in the true case of a true/false case structure, which is set to False.

If I put a design schema off around the Open Data of Config vi, I do not get the error.

I suspect that including Open Config Data include a VI in the application that interferes with the LV ranks by default.

    Thank you, it works!

I also put the additional Exclusions page as follows:

Disconnect the type definitions - verified

Remove unused polymorphic instances of VI - verified

Remove unused libraries project - members verified

Change the project library file after removing unused members - unaudited

I installed the Mobile Emulator 0.9.1 ripple with SDK for Tablet 2.2.0.5 WebWorks, following the instructions exacly on a Windows 7 64-bit machine.

If I try to package virtually any application (HelloWorld, weather, examples, something more complex, whatever), I get the following error:

I tried a lot of things. I'm guessing that it's a mistake with the SDK, since I can enter any path to any folder that exists on my HD as the path to the SDK and I get the same error.

You have apparent dbx file corruption. A common problem.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

Note that for some AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the program and reinstall in custom Mode and uncheck analysis when the option is the result of e-mail messages.

    Compact often as specified above.

    And backup often.

  • Ripple packaging error: Oh, Snap! Build request failed with the message: zip i/o error: no zip file or directory error: could not create output file

I am trying to package and sign an application with ripple and I get this error: Oh, Snap! Build request failed with the message: zip i/o error: no zip file or directory error: could not create output file

What can possibly be the problem here?

    Solved!

I had the field output folder of the same value as the name of the archive

  • Build EXE Error _ BeginUpdateResourceA.vi

Have you guys ever seen this error before?

"Generation failed...". Error 1 has occurred in BeginUpdateResourceA.vi.

I looked for the file named "BeginUpdateResourceA.vi", but I couldn't find it. The file is not in the project of course.  The error only occurs to my customer's system.

    Configurations:

    1 LabVIEW Professional Development System 2013 SP1

    2. the source VI is a TestStand Custom operator Interface. Other normal screws are good build.

    3. There is no problem before installing a security program that is provided by my client ' coporate. The program periodically checks each file in the system.

If you have the solution to this problem, please let me know.

    Best regards

    Joonam

Let me add that I have seen this error before and what it it make me feel again this morning.  It worked fine until my last code (minor) update.  On a whim, I just to build another executable in the same project (which worked well) and when to try again with the first specification to build, had "error 1 has occurred in EndUpdateResourceA.vi"

This thread has some changes to begin... vi.  Mr._Jim suggested:

    1. Mass of the entire application of the compilation directory

    2. LabVIEW of closure and reopening

I would like a solution to this.  Maybe it'll go away when I switch to LV2014?  Maybe I'll just blame my lousy computer and go home...

  • Version with ControlLogix - link cRIO (implicit messaging), "(Code 16 #0315) problem" connection request error: invalid segment type ""

I have developed and delivered a system in Germany several years ago.  He worked then.  But the cRIO was damaged and replaced by a newer model, and does not now.  I suspect (and Support technical OR agree) it's a problem of software version, which could be solved with the NOT-MAX Software Installer.  But I do not have access to the system myself, and correspondence is slow and tedious.

The original system was a cRIO-9073, developed with LabView 2009.  He used the implicit Messaging.  The ID of Instance, sizes, IP addresses, etc everything has worked very well.

The current system is a cRIO-9074, with LabView DURATION 14.0 (I guess that LV 2014), Scan Engine 4.3, NI - Industrial Communications for Ethernet/IP 14.0.0, etc.  Programs FPGA and processor are responsible and seem to work in the cRIO.  The "EthernetIP Set Assembly Instance Data.vi' will return no error.  But the PLC just pointing out "(Code 16 #0315)" connection request error: invalid segment type "."  We looked at intellectual property (the mistake was different), sizes and body #s.

The PLC doesn't have to all be modified.

Anyone know if there is no problem of compatibility with LV-2014 and Ethernet/IP 14.0.0?  Or if there are all the other required packages?

I am including the NOT-Max reports.

    Hi ZX81

To help you 2009 application to work with the new cRIO, you must deploy it to the device. You must in order to deploy the cRIO, make sure it has the same versions of software that you used with the old cRIO.

You can format the cRIO NI MAX and deploy the application of LV, 2009. However, if you do not have access to the cRIO or your client does not have the necessary software, you can deploy the application in another cRIO with software (cRIO same model and same modules as your client) and create a picture of it and send it to your customer so that it can deploy the cRIO even without the software on his computer. The following document explains how to do this.

  • Builder IP error

The property using intellectual builder for cRIO-9068 or 7932R produces the same result, regardless of the VI that I select. I tried with a simple VI that connects a constant to an indicator and the result is the same. The quick estimate still works fine. I tested this on 2 separate virtual machines that run LabVIEW 2015 sp1 with Vivado 2014.4 tools.

    That's what said the summary:

An error occurred during the generation. FPGA IP Builder: Internal error returned by Xilinx fuse. Contact National Instruments technical support.

The last part of the journal report reads as follows:

Compilation of construction architecture entity xil_defaultlib.m319c0140_toph [m319c0140_toph]

GCC.exe: internal error: abandoned (collect2 program)

Please submit a bug report. See <> http://www.mingw.org/bugs.shtml> for instructions.

    Hi jarcTek,

I just checked with a colleague and he turns off the manufacturer IP must use local compile the tools and will not work with cloud to compile or compile server. That being said, your normal compilations outside level component IP or the intellectual property Builder should work with Cloud compile.

The constructor of the intellectual property, I recommend to install on a Windows 7 Virtual Machine just to confirm that this is the problem you are experiencing. If so you will unfortunately need to downgrade or maintain a system/VM that can run the constructor of the intellectual property.

Compilation tools support is due to the fact that the compiler of Xilinx that we use does not support Windows 8 or 10. I don't know why we have not setup a warning, but the installer cannot check what operating system, it runs on, unfortunately, and therefore could not warn you.
