  So, indeed, all expressions are AND-ed together.

  You can make a combination of two Get - sight lines of course.

  But I admit that this solution is not elegant or optimal.

  Primary key, unique constraints and foreign key are better applied using the native functionality of database constraint. If you like the rules to check if a key exists at the time of the evaluation, you can use a function defined by the user in a rule condition and this function can ask to turn the table keys.

• Distribution rules and registry variables between vFoglight facilities

  Hello!

  We are responsible for a number of clients vFoglight facilities. I wonder if there is a more automated way to manage rules vFoglight & variables of register (RV) (alarms). Many of the default rulesettings are questionable. I am looking for a solution where you can pack all your custom rules and RV and then deploy these settings on other facilities at vFoglight.

  I looked through the vFoglight 6.7 guide http://us-downloads.quest.com/Repository/support.quest.com/vFoglight/6.7/Documentation/Management%20Server/vFoglight_CommandLineReference.pdf command-line Reference

  There, on page 119, I found the command of the utility configexport (export or import of a monitoring policy). I already said that if you only keep the changes you made in for example in the rules, you could distribute these through differrent vFoglight facilities, is this correct? Is there someone who has created a script for this in the community?

  I learned that the best practices for managing individual and variable registry rules must copy each rule and RV in the user interface and then configure the new rule with the new RV in the rule editor.

  To do this is a very repetitive task. Is it possible to automate this supported/not supported? Also is it possible to distribute these customized rules & RV between vFoglight facilities, it automate still further?

  I had implemented a policy of control of the commandlline with the command:

  fglcmd.bat - usr foglight - pwd - srv - port 443 ssl - cmd - util:configexport f strategy. XML

  When I imported a strategy later. XML where I had deleted all the content with the exception of I reign with the command

  2. If a problem arises due to an import of strategy 'bad', it can be solved with an import of the backup strategy?

  3. is it possible/safe to distribute the policy like this setting, change the multiple rules/RVs in vFoglight different facilities? With other words, you I configfile change rulesetting in several facilities? (If they are of course the version of fms even)

  4. If the rule/RV is not created/copied before that, these rules/RVs are created?

  5. anyone done this before and created a script that they would like to share?

  It seems that it is possible to import new rules and have them appear in the management dashboard with the possibility of enableling rule the. A bug is interesting that they disappear from the new data management dashboard, but are visible in the dashboard management legacy rule.

  1 - does anyone know if the existing rule management dashboard will be removed anytime soon?

  Conditional highlighting depends on comparing the contents of the cell to be highlighted a fixed value or the value in another cell. To highlight an entire line, using a change in the style of text, you need to highlight every cell in the row.

  This means that you must provide something to compare the value in each cell. The simplest is to provide a second cell in which the value of the cell to be highlighted is copied on the condition that triggers the highlight.

  

  In the table above, the formula set out in the table below is entered in cell F2, and then filled up to the 5 row and full right of column J.

  The result is that IF the cell in this row of column D contains an X, the contents of the cell for this cell is copied in this cell, otherwise, this cell contains a string NULL.

  Each cell in columns A through E is the same conditional highlight rule:

  When the text (A2)

  is (the same as the text in) F2

  A2 "BOLD" text

  Select cells A2 - E5, Set up the rule for cell A2 and do not "preserve row" or "preserve the column.

  Columns F to J can be hidden.

  I was wondering if it was possible to use such terms in conditional highlighting or formulas Boolean to automatically generate cell borders to format my table automatically?

  This is a good feature if it is not possible at the moment because I work with what is considered to be a set of relatively small data for my line of work, and to properly format for easy use later it took me several hours already. It would be nice to be able to set up a model with conditional highlighting and automatic cell borders in order to shape future data sets easily.

  I have a defined roadmap parole rules for the first column, which is the date - highlighting, such that each number of the month in the date cell becomes a different color. I use only 3 colors for each quarter of the year.

  Some numbers to start vocabulary. Using specific vocabulary for numbers can avoid misunderstandings in future questions.

  Worksheet, Document, or spreadsheet document to refer to all of the document is saved in a file.

  The Document consists of at least a sheet, but can have additional sheets.

  When created, a sheet contains only one Table, by default named table 1. Other Tables may be added to the timesheet, as perhaps other objects such as text boxes, shapes, graphics and Images.

  Each sheet has a name, displayed in a tab. The name can be changed by the user.

  Tables are made up of cells, arranged in columns and rows. Each Table has a name, which may be modified by the user.

  Conditional highlighting rules are applied to cells and are part of the Format settings for that cell.

  The Format of a cell parameters can be copied and pasted to other cells.

  'Other cells' can be on the same Table or another Table.

  The 'other Table' can be on the same sheet or on another sheet.

  The 'other map' may be in the same "Document" or in another Document.

  To copy the format of a cell parameters, including conditional rules:

  • Click once on the cell to select.
  • Go (menu) Format > Style copy (or press option + command + C)

  To paste settings copied to another cell format (or a group of cells)

  While conditional highlighting saw is somewhat improved, it's going to be work to do what you want. You will need to compare your cell to every cell in your range:

  

  For example, a rule for each cell. You could probably deal with formulas and additional cells, but which may require an extra cell for each date that you want to match.

  After adding the second filter click on the AND it will change to OR, when you add the third filter (or filter more) you have the ability to group filter
  You can change the grouping based on your needs.

  One of our systems Consultants found a carton of community that creates dynamic records VMWare-based services. I have attached the cartridge and I included some comments from the author, Thomas Bryant.

  I am pleased to announce the release of version 1.0 of a cartridge personalized for VMware files.  I had a lot of customers ask me to automatically build services in vFoglight based on the structure of folders in vCenter, and that is exactly what will make this cartridge!  This cartridge contains a rule that runs once per hour and will create a category called files VMware services and then for each vCenter, the data center and the series of records, create services and add virtual machines to each, as in vCenter.  Simply load the cartridge and wait about 30 to 60 seconds depending on the number of files you have, and then services will be created.  Please let me know if things work, good or bad.

   

  Updated - Version 1.0.1 released

  The update fixes a problem with the sort order of the structure "Virtual Machines and templates" vs "Hosts and Clusters" and the following files which were not created properly.

   

  Known issues - currently will not remove a service based on a folder that has been deleted from vCenter.  I'll look to add this in the next version.

  One last thing. After you install the cartridge, a new rule, named Custom - create/update records VMware will be added under VMware_Folders cartridge. If edit you it and look at the Conditions & Actions tab, you should be able to see the groovy script that is used to create and populate the services. Here, you should be able to edit the prefix added to each folder in Foglight. By default, the prefix is "Folder_.

  Here's a strange. Whenever I get an alert message from Twitter to one of my email accounts, TB change the name of 'From' to 'James Smith (via Twitter)'. This includes anything sent from the address "[email protected]". I checked all my Message filters, and there is no rule, put in place to rename incoming emails from Twitter, so I'm stumped.

  For the record, I doubt that this has nothing to do with Twitter. It is a question of Thunderbird.
