  Turn off the feature in the App Store system preference. Then download and reinstall the config of the beta, then diasable the new device in the App Store system preference. After disabling 2nd, updates should disappear.

  I already bought Apple Pages and Numbers for use on an iMac running El Capitan. Now I upgraded my macbook pro to El Capitan and want to update these programs, but on the App Store, I am only offered a newer version, which requires the Sierra. How can I get the version I need? Thank you, Robert

  Have you tried clicking on the icon in the Mac App Store to see what is happening? In the past, the Mac App Store will say that version will not run on your operating system & offer to download the latest compatible version. I don't think this has changed, but I don't have a Mac in El Capitan to try.

  My Apple Mail signatures are gone!  I don't know how it happened.  When I look in mail preferences, all the signatures for all of my email accounts are now gone.  I have 8 setup of email accounts and had 10 registered signatures.

  Of course, along with millions of others, I give why apple cannot provide even a decent email client. But this issue is actually of rhetoric. For this post, I'd be completely satisfied to receive help to solve my immediate problem.

I have the option to enter a prefix and enter a tag on this screen, but entering information here does not ungray save button. It defaults to the last saved file name and I would crush it with the new file name I wanted. There is no driver for this OS available. I tried restarting the computer and the printer/scanner.

  From the record Applications open the HP folder and move HP Scan to the trash, then empty the trash.

  I bought CS6 4 years. I think it is absurd that it becomes unusable so early.

  CS6 released in 2012 is now 8 versions behind the current CC 2015.3.  And it is not certified to run on the operating systems Windows 7 or OS x 10.7.  If it works on El Capitan, great!  You can continue to use it for another 3-4 years.  Just do not upgrade to Sierra until you're ready to raise a creative level Cloud.

  I have a maxed out end 2013 the MacBook Pro Core i7 to 2.6 GHz, 16 GB of DDR3 RAM, 1 TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 M 2048 MB, Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB.

  Also, I have a DELL P2415Q Display 24 inches (3840 x 2160) using Thunderbolt, are involved through the headphone jack and use a USB for lightning to recharge my iPhone.

  I upgraded to macOS Sierra the day he is released and had no problems until this morning. I unplugged my external screen and speakers and used my laptop for about 15 minutes, the battery, and then returned to my office and plugged my Thunderbolt, rear speakers display in and my CPU shot at 100% and never came back down. My Mac is essentially useless because kernel_task is eating all my CPU and to prevent another asks to enter the CPU.

  At this point, it seems that any time that puts something on the charging system and increase the temperature internal internal components of my Mac kernel_task maxes my CPU, which brings my Mac to its knees.

  Any ideas how to fix? Is this just a major bug in 10.12?

  What does that mean? I try to download on the App store and I get a popup saying "this 10.12 macOS version can not be installed on this computer."  I click on "Learn more" and nothing happens.  I've recently upgraded to El Capitan without problem.  I am running a mid 2007 24 "iMac that works as good as the day I bought it! Help!

  If I understand correctly, you tried to install macOS a few times and it failed. Now you're stuck on language selection screen and it will not progress. I recommend you read this article, it explains how to start on the recovery screen and install a new version of Mac OS or disk utility to repair any problems, it can be seen.
