AE = & AElig;

O = & Oslash;

  • How to assign a keyboard macro to a keyboard shortcut

Does anyone know how to assign a keyboard macro to a keyboard shortcut?  I'm spoiled CodeWright by, if there is no selected item only when a 'Ctrl c' is issued, CodeWright automatically copy the line that the cursor is located. I'm trying to replicate this feature and the only way I can see it's a macro of the "copy line" keyboard right click on command.  Any thoughts?

    NABI:

Looks like you're talking about modifying the source code.  I don't know a way to create your own keyboard macro.  You can change the shortcut key assignments (CVI 9.1: Options-> change the shortcut keys), but it seems that you need more than that.

To make your example (a line no copying), I often have to press Ctrl-O, to cut the current line, immediately followed by a Ctrl-V to restore the original line.  This line is still in the buffer zone of the Clipboard, so I can go where I want the copy of the original line and press Ctrl + V.

In the event that you do not change the code but create shortcuts for your users in your application, you can catch the EVENT_KEYPRESS in your panel or command callback callback and check for key code combinations.  See the multikey.prj example program comes with CVI and the CVI for EVENT_KEYPRESS help.

It is sufficient in this case to hit Cmd/Ctrl-A to select all.

Normally, targeting the layers is used to apply one or more appearance attributes to the layer. Apparently, this is not what you do.

  • Shortcuts, macros and custom toolbar buttons

One of the things I like about the word is that I can easily create a shortcut like ALT + N for normal text, and I can create a macro as a pre-formatted table to contain a Note image and text both as a button on the toolbar.

Is that what I can do to automate HR, how to make a button for the independent search and replace tool on the toolbar?

Make a right-click on the toolbar in RH7 allows customization to it but not, as far as I know, this one.

MacroExpress is a software for automation of all kinds of processes, not just HR, bit like Multi file find useful and Replace are accessible through the tools pod, it might be a tricky to implement.

Are you aware that is built in the case R & MFF, as many of these tools, limited to research on a single line that can give erroneous results? FAR or BKReplaceEm are much better. A LOT of http://www.helpware.net and is more polished. BKReplaceEm is free.

Personally I never use built into the tool.

  • Problems with macros on the conflicts of the mouse with windows shortcuts

    Hello!

I just bought a Logitech G930 wireless mouse to use in my mmo games. The mouse has 13 programmable buttons and I use most of them to bind the different tricks to use in games.

However, when using a few things related to CTRL-1, 2 and 3, it does not work as I intended. When you press the makro and bind for CTRL-1, for example, I am thrown out of the game and face the screen to change windows. CTRL-2 set up a Web page, Google search in my case. The desired function is not the case in the game at all.

I tried to find a way to disable shortcuts in windows vista, but only to find instructions on how to disable those using the Windows key.

  • Added a macro to delete a file to start a shortcut in windows XP

When I click on a shortcut to the program, he starts the currently appropriate program and runs (pretty obvious things, I know). I want to do is to clear a cache file previous start-up businesses by automatically deleting the cache file, then run the program. I think it would be pretty easy stuff and I could do at the time of the BACK, but don't have any idea how to do that with Windows XP, my current operating system.

What program are you want to clear the cache of the and what is the full path of the cache, you do not want to delete?

The best way to do what you want is to create a batch file and place it in your startup folder.

    Del "path\file file to delete.

  • assign shortcuts to a file?

    Hi people

Is it possible to assign a shortcut to open a frequently used file (pdf)-?

like ctrl-alt-some-key and pop! Here is my everyday Companion...

Apple-Script? (I use launcher, BTW, but haven't found anything to get there.)

    Thank you!

    David

Drag the file into the dock, so all you need to do is click on it there is to open.

An Applescript script can be created to open the file, but it will also have to be clicked open.

The only other way I know is to use a macro as the Keyboard Maestroapplication. With it you can run it with a combination of keys you want, even one of the F keys.

I looked for the Add - ons that could automate this configuration change, but nothing helped. Only actions of web page can be saved in a macro, but no change in configuration.

A shortcut to access the appropriate dialog box would help as well. I could manually check / uncheck box saving all stages several necessary to get there. But I don't him not found anywhere.

I thank very you much for any help you can provide me.

I have a checkbox on the PrefBar to pass this parameter (browser.display.use_document_colors).

PrefBar can also assign a shortcut buttons and checkboxes.

My keyboard has had problems in the past and he was sent to Germany for repairs.
She came back, but after a few moments, the keyboard problem reappeared.
When you type to access pages Web etc. program expenses are open as if, I think it is called a macro program received access keys.

I used the keyboard screen to overcome this, but it is inaccessible today.
Has anyone encountered this problem before?
Is there a program to get rid of these problem of keyboard shortcuts?

    Thank you in advance.
    Julie

    > When entering for access to pages Web etc program expenses are open as if, I think it is called, a macro program received access keys.

What (s) did you press on exactly?

You can control the different characteristics of portable on different F (F1 - F10) keys (also part of the FN key): for example, you can enable or disable the touchpad or you can change the brightness of the display.
    Do you mean these keys?

The other hand OS Windows supports a feature called Accessibility Center.
Within accessibility you can adjust these settings to 'make it easier to use the keyboard.

Go to control panel and click Accessibility Center and find the link to make the keyboard easier to use. Once you're there, you'll want to make sure that the boxes to turn on sticky keys or turn FilterKeys are off which simply means the feature isn't active at the moment.

Also, you gotta click on set up filter keys or set up sticky keys (or both). Disable filter keys Popup. If you went to the filter keys Setup screen, remove the FilterKeys check box lights up when you press right SHIFT for 8 seconds. To disable the Sticky Keys Popup, uncheck the box to turn on sticky keys when you press SHIFT five times.

Recommend that you check this Microsoft article about this feature:

  • script addon - new shortcuts

If anyone is interested, I've created a macro script to give me some extended with the LabWindows IDE features.  It is written in AutoHotkey, compiles to a single EXE, weighing<1MB.  pm="" me="" if="" you="" would="" like="" a="" copy,="" along="" with="" the="">

The two shortcuts perfom the following functions:

    (1) delete an entire line (CTRL + D)

    (2) toggle selection mode "button" (CTRL + ALT + S)

ElectroLund Hello, can you please explain what your Ctrl + D differs from cut into the Clipboard and Ctrl + Alt + S the mode of selection of text change already present options in the keyboard shortcuts?

(I updated the first Ctrl +, but I think remember me from its default value is different; the second is associated to Ctrl + Ins keys).

  • How to REMOVE the macro source code?

Somehow, I managed to record a macro of source code, and now I can not delete it!  Worse, I've added a macro key, which I keep hitting (naturally) not by chance.

Worse, I can't remove this macro!  The option is grayed out.  I can also delete the shortcut key assigned to it.  What I'm missing here?

I myself is not entitled, concentrated it as the temporary macro. It seems as if the temporary macro cannot be removed, so that your solution to fill it with harmless instructions is the way to go.

Given that whenever you record a temporary macro you overwrite the previous content, you can simplify the macro by recording a single statement only.

  • Outlook Express: Shortcut in "Tools/Message rules/Mail" Possible?

I discovered ways to create shortcuts to a large number of Windows functions, so that I don't have to click on the menus and submenus to make things happen, for example 'Safely Remove Hardware' is:

    "Shell32.dll, Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe '.

But I always applied the rules of messages manually to empty my OE Inbox. It is click on ' Tools / Message rules / Mail', followed by 'Apply now' and selecting what rules I want to apply for.

Is there a way to get this function works with a single click - a 'shortcut '?

    Best regards, Roger.

    Sorted! Thanks to AutoHotkey.com :)

I wrote a macro that checks if OE is running, and if not the macro runs it. Then the macro activates the window and sends alt - T, R, M, and alt - A. Job done!

The Windows key + SPACEBAR active macro:

    #space:
    IfWinExist Inbox - Outlook Express
    {
    WinActivate
    }
    on the other
    {
    Run "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe".
    WinWait Inbox - Outlook Express
    WinActivate
    }
    Send! T R M! A
    Return

I see myself doing a lot more with this free utility!

  • Urgent: how to create a shortcut with a relative path?

I put a set of files and folders nested on a server on a network location.  (Use of office machines Vista; I don't know that the server is running.  The files are a text file and two Office 2007 files).  Users will copy this set-up files on their computer (there is a program of VBA macro in a Word document, they need).  They need tomorrow (Friday) and the shortcut path gives me fits!

    The hierarchy looks like:

    MainDir
    File.txt
    SubDir1
    Shortcut to the Word file
    SubDir2
    Word file
    Excel file

I don't think even the paths associated with the shortcut until I looked a little deeper.  Because I put all the files and folders together on my computer, when I did a drag - move in the folder on the server, the target properties and start in the shortcut always pointed at my computer!  So now, I'm afraid that a user copy this on their machine will have a shortcut that points to ~ my ~ computer, instead of the file on their computer.

I deleted the shortcut located on the server and creates a new one from the Word file in the directory on the server.  Better - I think - but it still points to the location of the server.  And it is even more likely that, when the user opens the shortcut, it will try to open the file on the server, vice the file on their computer.

How can I create a shortcut to this Word file that will pick up the relative path from around where to reside?  I can just click > properties and change the target and start in paths?  Or do I need a VBScript or VBA?

I have to get this done fast!  A kick - in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

    Ed

    Hi Ed,

It is not possible to create a shortcut with a relative path.

You can try the following allows to bypass and check if it helps:

Create a shortcut to cmd.exe running the start command to open the current directory. Then set the MDC in the

    The shortcut properties.

    a. make a new shortcut to: cmd.exe /c start.

    b. now right-click on it and get the properties of the shortcut (shortcut tab).

    c. the shortened full path must have been set to this:

    %windir%\system32\CMD.exe /c start.

    d. set the directory of "start in" (i.e. DLG) to be a relative path:

(Example for a shortcut on the desktop)

    ...\SendTo

    e. click on "change icon...". "and set" look for icons in this file: "to: %SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll and press ENTER.

Standard folder icon will probably be in the lower right.

    f. now you can copy this file and simply change the "start in:" to make new related shortcuts directory.

NOTE: The above steps are just an example, so try this at your own risk. And check if it works.

You can also read the following article and check:

  • Classic BlackBerry how can I create a shortcut to the call forwarding settings?

I frequently update forwarding calls (all calls) to various destinations and want an easier way (Hotkey?) instead of: open phone app, scroll down from the top to join settings that often requires a few attempts scrolling, tap Settings, click call forwarding.

It really should be a way to create a 'macro' to all this.

    Thank you!

Agreed! A keyboard shortcut would be ideal
