  I have a user running XP Pro and Office 2003.  Whenever they double click a shortcut to a file of Excel spreadsheet, the above message appears.  Is not shortcut to Excel himself, this shortcut works very well.  He finds a shortcut on the desktop to a spreadsheet saved on the hard drive.  Outreach programs and failure to file are correct.  If you click on the actual spreadsheet of its location of origin rather than the shortcut, the file opens correctly.  I repaired Office and when that did not work, deleted and reinstalled, still the same problem.  This is not isolated to Excel or the other Word documents to the same thing, so I suspect that this is a problem in the registry.

  I use InDesign CC trial version now, and I would buy it after using it for a few weeks. I couldn't assign shortcuts to paragraph styles. Is it my problem or a restriction in the system? Could someone help me with this.

  When I click on the space provided for the addition of shortcut we are not throwing any message of error or I would say that I could click this text box and the cursor flashes but I couldn't I attribute a shortcut.

  Shortcuts for paragraph styles consist of a number on a keypad and a modifier key (for example, hit Cmd/Ctrl or Alt/Option). If your computer does not have a numeric keypad, you may need to use another method as fast application to apply paragraph styles.

  CTRL-Alt-E launches the first editor external secondary (first in alphabetical order in the list). I guess that your SEP is configured as the secondary Editor, so you must only make sure that it appears first in the list (as $SEP).

  Must use composer to do this to make a SVG file.  It's actually quite easy, create a blank page and create the shortcut key action.  Save, export to SVG and load in the theme.  Fact!

I am told that there should be a file in folder "InDesign shortcut sets" of CS5.5 I should be able to copy in the record required in CC. I find two files, but I can only see the file Default.indk and no file to my shortcuts custom. See the screen two catches:

  Found my answer. In addition to files for InDesign Version 5.0 and the new CC Version 11.0, I have files for Versions 6.0 and 7.5. The preselections were in the record 7.5. Don't know why I didn't research on these issues, yesterday, but happy to have my presets to return.
