  • Macromedia projector video is distorted on the Satellite Pro L series

    Hello

I have problems running a file of projection of Macromedia.
It works but the video is distorted.
If I remove the 965 chipset drivers, it works fine.

But of course, it's not ideal because it causes problems with switching between the projector and the screen of the monitor.

I tried to find more drivers today ect but same problem occurs.
There's nothing wrong with the presentation that it works well on any cell outside.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

Perhaps the graphic card driver should be updated I come to the conclusion that it is a problem of compatibility between the graphics driver and Macromedia projector, due to the fact that the video works properly after uninstalling.

Then why you n t visit the Intel page and download the latest graphic driver for 965 chipset.

By the way; computer laptop Satellite Pro L do you have?

  • Macromedia Projector stopped working with update?

I get the message "Macromedia Projector has stopped working" when I try to run games from play. They used to run fine.

I tried to run in compatibility mode, received the same message.

Windows Update installed a bunch of updates, the other day (KB979306, KB976264 KB975929, according to descriptions, I guess that one in the middle is the culprit here.)

Running Vista Home Premium SP 2 on Acer 5520G TM.

    bessest,
Have you tried other other than XP SP2 compatibility modes?  If not, then try the others on the list and see if one of them works.  If this does not help, perform a clean boot and test.  Let us know the results. Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

  • I tried to install VideoProfessor CD and a pop-up window has Macromedia Projector has stopped working what is the solution?

I tried to install VideoProfessor and I failed in my attempt. VideoProfessor icon appeared on my desk and MacroMedia Projector has stopped working

    Hello

    1. is the question confined to the CD video Professor?

Macromedia Projector is a utility that includes a Visual Flash presentation in a stand-alone EXE file, so you can view the images on a PC without the Flash Player installed.

I see that this problem could be associated with a problem between Direct X and Shockwave.  It can be corrected either by:

    ·         Re-install the latest Direct X

    ·         Uninstall and reinstall Shockwave, if you already have the latest direct

    Method 1:

To download and install the latest version of DirectX, follow these steps:
Visit the Microsoft Web site at the following address:
    http://msdn2.Microsoft.com/en-us/DirectX/aa937788.aspx (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/directx/aa937788.aspx)

Follow the steps on the Web site to download and install DirectX.
You can also visit the following address Microsoft Windows Update Web site to see if DirectX updates are available:
    http://windowsupdate.Microsoft.com

    Method 2:

    Also try the clean boot.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note: After a repair, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

    • The error message you received includes a hex code? What is the hexadecimal code 0 x 800 similar number...?

    Method 1:

This problem could be associated with a problem between Direct X and Shockwave.

It can be corrected either by:

    3 both of the above

    Method 2:
Try to run the game in compatibility mode for windows XP SP2:

To change the settings for compatibility manually for a program, right-click the program icon, click Properties, and then click the compatibility tab.

    Run the program compatibility Wizard:

    1.

Open the program compatibility Wizard by clicking the Start button , by clicking on the Control Panel, click programsand then click use an older with this version of Windows program.

    2.

Follow the instructions in the wizard.

If you are unable to install a program, insert the installation for the program and, using the wizard disk, navigate to the program setup file, usually called Setup.exe, Install.exe, or something similar. The wizard is not designed to work on programs that have an .msi file name extension.

If the above mentioned steps doesnot work, check with the manufacturer of game.

  • KeyframePlayer seems to cause error in projector

Director inside my code compiles without returning an error. If I play the movie inside the Director, everything seems to work properly, and no errors appear. When I publish a projector, run it and look at it, everything seems fine.

When I close my projector by clicking on the 'X' in the top right of the window, I get the below error:

Macromedia Projector has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I have commented a lot of code out there and it seems that keyframePlayer is the culprit. Just a trace of the race in a behavior script causes this error occurs when the closure of the projector (see attachment code.)

Are there traps or common mistakes about the keyframePlayer I should know about?

    * I use JavaScript

    Problem solved.

Manual removal of the modifier inside a function of stopMovie keyframePlayer seems that the error does not occur.

  • Duration of the conflicts with macromedia Director

    Hello

I have a request of the ISV who apparently uses macromedia Director, it is supposed to work on mac osx and windows etc. The application is 'Swiss Map' and it is a product of mapping. End of year last impression has stopped working, if you try to print, you will get the basic map, but overlays would be displaced, for cards you would get your way has moved a few hundred meters that effectively makes the useless product. I found that the problem started when I had installed photoshop elements and if I removed/Library/Application Support / Macromedia everything was back to normal.

Only now it is started again and I already deleted these files, so I'm stumped. My share of s two questions, first and it's one question broad and imprecise, where else would the first cause? And secondly, is there a way to control the execution environment at all? Can I control exactly where this application is looking for components or even just to know for sure. If it were simply executable I would have an idea where to look, but I don't have enough knowledge on macromedia Director to know quite where to start.

Obviously I connected the problem with people who support this, but I don't think that either they or me any real expectation that they will solve this problem or even be considered worth working on it. Meanwhile, I have a thousand francs for the software that is not fit for purpose and I burn money buy new cards every week.

    Thank you!

It seems that if you are the end user of a product, not the developer.

If I understand correctly, you contacted the company that developed the product.  They know better than anyone how the printing features and overlay have been implemented.  Perhaps you could suggest they post a question on this forum, giving technical details.  Other developers of Director on this forum will then have a better chance to suggest a solution, rather than to speculate in the dark.

Among the details that we will need to know are:

    * On what operating system experience you this problem?

    * Have you recently updated or modify the operating system?

    * What regional settings do you use (what country / language)?

    * Version of the Manager was used to create the application?

(You talk about "Macromedia Director", who is under the age of 6 years and was not designed for the newer operating systems)

    * What is an executable application or an application based on a browser?

    * Should I use a standalone projector or Shockwave projector?

    * What technology is used for printing (PrintOMatic, Flash,...)

    * Are these overlays 3D or 2D?

    * ...?

If you or the product developer can provide answers to these questions, then we can ask more detailed questions until someone finds a solution.
