  I need to make some rollover effects in a text: only a few related words must show an effect hover (color change). I need to apply these effects on some words only, but the Muse will not let me. Instead it only accepts the rollover effects for the whole of the text at a time. It is a serious and urgent issue, please let me know how I can change this.

  If you create a text without a hypertext link to any of the specific word, you can select the text block to enable the States Panel.

  But if you want to select a specific letter / word within a text frame and working on its States:

  1. Select the specific word, make a hyperlink
  2. Click file > Site Properties > tab content: you will find the opportunity to make changes to different States of the word of a hyperlink.

  If you want to create several styles within the frame of a text with different words:

  1. under the site properties > select the tab "Content": you will find the option to set different styles of hyperlink.
  2. Set the new style , click ok.
  3. Select the new style for another word

• Printing Acrobat 9 Pro makes the text of giberish

  When printing on the net for my Acrobat 9 Pro, the output of the image is perfect, yet the text is giberish all. Can anyone help?

  When I create a PDF file with Acro Pro text using FF4 is rendered as an image. FF3 doesn't have this (another rendering browsers text text as well). Win 7 Pro 64 bit, FF 4.0

  It seems to go away when you disable hardware acceleration: Tools-> Options-> advanced-> general-> browsing, uncheck the "use hardware acceleration when available. Then restart Firefox.

  Looks like a bug to me. Hardware acceleration should affect screen, not print not... and if it produces effects of impression, it should not impact it this way.

  I'm working on form textfield that allow the user to insert text and save it in the SQL database as the data type long text. User can retrieve the saved text and display in the web page as an article.
  
  The problem I'm facing right now is the article containing the RETURN/ENTER or new paragraph. When I ask article he become one paragraph, if I understand correctly there is a code that I have to insert when user types returrn/enter button until I have record in the SQL database.
  
  Anyone who knows what I need to add the code and how do I do to auto detect when the user hit the return/enter key as a textfield.

  Please try to check the rendering under Edit menu options > Preferences > Page Display.

  Check if in smooth text field "for computer/laptop LCD screens" is selected.

  More scanned documents cannot be changed, unless you have a software that can read digital information. The scanned document is just a picture of the item that you have scanned. You must have a software like OCR (optical character recognition) to be able to make changes to the digitized item.

  I checked the page drivers and it lists all the Windows 2000 drivers. Since you can now print the PDF from Adobe documents, most likely it is a problem with the settings for Word or account on the computer.

  Try the following steps to see if it will be useful.

  Go to start, Control Panel, user accounts, change user account control settings.

  Then drag the slider to the bottom never notify, and then restart your computer.

  What version of Word are you using?

• How to clear the text changes in a PDF Document

  I work in Adobe Reader DC and had previously entered several changes in a document via the complete Adobe & signature tool/feature. I need to delete some of the text entered earlier in the document, but when I return to the fill & sign tool or function, it allows only hit me on the text changes / existing.

  My question is this: how to erase or delete previously entered text changes / in a pdf document and enter the new text/changes?  Thanks in advance for your support in this matter.

  Thanks for the quick response. There are several sections in the document as the required signature and I signed electronically these sections. So I'll assume that since I already signed the document, I can't apply alterations to his text entered correct?

• Acrobat Pro XI, after placing a watermark on a PDF file, applying an A / Web certificate, then save as a PDF - A, the text in the document becomes unfathomable.

This translates into an error and the PDF file does not get it's / Web certification.  Is this a bug?  I can search for text in an A / Web document certified without watermark, fine.  I can search for text in a document with a watermark and no A / Web certification, very well.  But not with the two elements applied.  Why the watermark is causing a conflict?  Is there a way to solve or work around this problem?

  I do not know what A / Web is. But if you save as PDF/A-1a or PDF/A-1b, and that transparency, it must be flattened. Flattening often lose the text completely, for example, if the text superimpose a transparent image.  Your watermark is probably using transparency. Not a glitch or bug.
