  • I received 3 emails - "anti-spam feasibility" of Server Administrator - these are authentic or not?

Emails containing the following message is displayed:

Your webmail Quota exceeded it's set/Quota limit which is 20 GB.

You're running on 23 GB, due to hidden files and your mailbox from the folder.

Please CLICK HERE to activate the anti-spam engine and increase your Quota of Web mail.

Enable anti spam engine and increase your webmail Quota can lead to loss of important data / information and Documents in your mailbox / or cause limited access. Thank you

Ask your email provider if they have published messages. It's their server. Thunderbird only delivers messages. They do not issue them.

  • Anti-spam software installed that cannot be removed from FIrefox

I accidentally installed a spam-like a real application software (link to the announcement on the real site resembling download real). He installed a ton of different applications of spam, marketing and advertising on my computer, FIrefox, Chrome and IE to ruin. All the sweet is now uninstalled, computer has been scanned with an antivirus and anti-malware and are no threat. Chrome and IE are clearly without any problem, but Firefox is still Web sites redirect to add sites and adding spam ads on almost on every page.
There are two extensions you installed, Adobe and Oracle (two people with reduced mobility) and some Add-onns but all look authentic (office, Cisco codec, flash, Adobe, Foxit and Silverlight.
I already reinstalled Firefox twice with no success, and to be honest I have no more ideas on how to do to remove this application.
    Could you please help?

What did you use to search for malware?

This is our recommended 'tools' to use. You may need to use them all.

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP, if you do not already have one. Windows 8 already has integrated antivirus.

  • My email from Apple used to send spam

This is the first time (that I know) that my Apple email address has been used to send spam in bulk. I don't think that the account has been hacked, since I'm still able to sign in iCloud and access my mail. I guess that my address is being spoofed. I contacted the people I thought that had received spam from me.

Is it possible to stop this? I'm afraid that it will continue until everyone I contacted directly or sent by electronic mail will be spammed by me. It is an address that I use for almost everything.

Are there steps I can take to keep my e-mail address be used this way?

    Thank you.

Since your password has not changed for access, the password may have been learned through strikes or phishing somehow. It would still be a good idea to update your password information and security.  http://www.Apple.com/legal/more-resources/phishing/

Two-factor authentication is perhaps something to look at as well, so you can be made aware of all the connections on your account. Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support. To do this, before you change the other security settings on your account as your password if you decide to go ahead with it. Otherwise, you must wait 72 hours after the update of your password, etc. for security measures.

Finally, Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support should feel you the need for more reassured.

  • Get a contextual study apparently FF, it's authentic?

This morning [2013-29 GMT] when I looked up to FF (Mac OSX), a pop-up has crept upward from the bottom edge of the browser saying "you have chosen for a study of 2 minutes. Want to contribute? "etc. When I click on [OK], I was diverted to something like "Investigation SUMO" page asking to enter an email address. When I entered my email address I was diverted to support page FF and nothing else happened. I checked my Inbox reception (& Spam) and there is nothing related to the FF survey with timestamp corresponding. Was this pop-up a malware? Someone at - it had the same or similar pop-up apparently research official FF recently? Anyone confirm that it was an authentic or not? Thanks for your help.

Hi, Firefox is the collection of feedback from its users to improve the best user experience.

SUMO is short for support MOzilla. Do not worry. It is not a Malware. Its a real investigation only.
    Thank you for your time.

  • Why are sociable emails being caught as spam?

Lately, some, but not all, outgoing emails with PDF attachments are taken by the server as spam.  These are users who are ON the email server itself.  I tested and sent an email from the mail with 2 attachments in PDF Server, and he was caught as spam.

Is there a way to know WHY the server examines these spam emails?  When I look at the log file, the only thing I see is: 2E05685E2014: to <[email protected]>, relay - 127.0.0.1 [127.0.0.1]: 10024, delay = 2.5, delays=0.05/0/0.01/2.4, dns = 2.7.0, status = sent (250 Ok 2.7.0), scrapped, id = 95237-01-SPAM

Anyone know of a way to make this journal to show more so I can find the root of the problem?  I don't want outgoing emails marked as spam.

I don't have not upgraded to El Capitan server because I heard that there were a lot of problems with it.  Maybe I should now...  Could not be worse that this mess than I am now.

Thanks in advance for any info or help you can give me.

It is not related to the server version, and most likely means that you try sending without authentication. Thus, all your outgoing mail is scanned for spam and viruses as well.

The simplest solution is to send via port 587 and authenticate at the same time. This ignores the analysis of your own users.

If you do not, you will need to know why some emails are blocked. To increase the logging levels, you can use server admin. Make sure levels for SMTP and spam filters are defined in the 'Information '. You can set higher levels, but this should not be necessary and will make a lot of noise.

Personally, I would upgrade any server e-mail to El Capitan. Do not solve these problems (these issues are the same), but because the 10.6 is no longer supported, and you are running older versions of the junk e-mail filter and viruses.

  • I have received spam by using Firefox as my browser of Fed Ex; He was carrying a virus; instantly, a protection of $89.99 plan was forced on me; you do not like that of sales.

I have Kapersky Antivirus and that you don't need to spend $89.99 on some program promotes Mozilla. First of all, I do not expect spam to Fed Ex and should not open the email (which looked authentic and I order with Fed Ex delivery); However, your loop kept taking me back to the sale of high pressure of your antivirus shield program. Although I found that electronic mail has been contaminated, but please, not high pressure sales or scared. My own program handled for me.

Firefox has nothing to do with your email or you may have received spam. Firefox is just a browser you use to access your email (Email is managed by people like AOL, Gmail, etc..). And if you have received an email trying to sell you software, which came from a third party who is spamming.

Shield anti-virus sounds like it may be part of a family of rogue anti-virus. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_security_software. Thus, it seems that you might have an infection on your computer if you installed this program. In addition, if you have provided your credit card for the anti-virus, the integrity of your credit card number is at stake.

Firefox to solve the problems caused by malware provides resources that you can use to help eradicate this virus.

  • Please verify the authenticity of this mail sent by the windows live team.

Today, Jan 22/12, I had Confirmation alert Windows Live team. I think this is a fake of: http://**** address email is removed from the privacy *. The message reads: Dear customer: your Windows Live Mail account has exceeded its limit and must be checked, is not verified within 24 hours, we will suspend your account. Click here___. to check your email account now. Thank you Windows Live 2011 Microsoft. I will not further with their request for information.
Can you let me know if this is an authentic email from windows live team?

It is not Microsoft.  It is a public-to-peer forum of mutual support where questions are asked and answers to Windows 7 users.

No one here is able to check that the spam you received is, indeed, spam, but it does not look like it.  There are many like her all the time.

  • ACS 5.1 13030 GANYMEDE + authentication error Question

    Hi all

I am trying to set up a new server GANYMEDE + and am trying to update all configurations of our network to point to the new server devices.  Everything is fine looking up now, but on the ACS monitoring tool, two of our switches are constantly spamming '13030 request authentication GANYMEDE + lack a username' error.  The network admin group have no problem is authenticating with these two switches and they confirm that it is not trying to connect.  Does anyone know if ACS monitor will show any sauce to the IP addresses of these applications?

If you click on the detail in your authentication error message, you should be able to find the 'Remote-address' field, which should tell you the remote IP address.

If you haven't seen an IP in the address 'remote' field, you may need to check the console port / switch to see if something is connected to, what could cause the problem.

  • Spam mail junk or not?

    Hi all
Received an email in my Inbox of Microsoft (Spam hunters) wondering whether or not it is Spam/Junk e-mail?

I always thought that Microsoft verifies our installations of windows during as authentic updates before proceeding with any update.  I was never asked to provide personal information about any account.

    The Tex to this email:

    _______________________________________________________________________________

    Windows user,.

It has come to our attention that your microsoft windows folders are up-to-date. Every single installation of Windows must be accompanied by a valid email for purposes of appropriate verification.

This requires you to check the e-mail account. Failure to check your records may result in suspension of account. Use the link below to check and confirm your records.

    Thank you

    Microsoft Windows team.

    _______________________________________________________________________________

Have been running this version of windows for years.  Never had any problems receiving automatic updates.

What is the best way to check this Email Message as spam or Legit?

    Thank you... Jay

Pure spam. Microsoft does not contact the owners of Windows machines, if not because he keeps no records on their name, location and E-mail address.

  • Spam/no IMAP spam comments

Is it possible to take advantage of the similar features as those offered by Convergence with service.feedback.spam and service.feedback.notspam in general IMAP? I would like to have the WMA or the messagestore be able to refer by e-mail in the same way when a user accesses his mailbox with any IMAP client and they move/copy a message or out of the Spam folder.

This feature exists in Messaging Server/ENS /?

The MSP does not review the Protocol after authentication. So, it would not be a good match.

You can use SLAS to allow a customer-written application receive notification of messages to a certain folder move.

Another thought would be to look at the contents of this folder periodically, perhaps by using the action of imexpire report:

    https://wikis.Oracle.com/display/CommSuite/imexpire
and MOS knowledge article: using Imexpire to report certain Types of mail (Doc ID 1488955.1)
Also note: 12432698 enhancement request - add header FIELDS OPTION FOR IMEXPIRE REPORT ACTION
(which means that he probably won't give you what you need today - you can open a query asking to be added to 12432698 ER)

But no, it has no function on the IMAP server to send a message to service.feedback.spam or service.feedback.notspam when it is copied to or removed from a "spam" folder

There is another request for improvement which is somewhat related to this topic, but still does not exactly what you want:

BUG 12172377 - SUNBT6450944-INTERFACE to MESSAGE VIRUS SCANNER

This will allow imexpire to use to perform the same type of analysis that the MTA can do, but on messages already in the store.

  • Phone verification (two-factor authentication) on Sierra is not available in Bangladesh

I upgraded to El Capitan in macOS Sierra today. But when I tried to set up two mobile verification or authentication my country (Bangladesh) was not listed there. I was wondering why this service is not available here in Bangladesh? Please give me a solution for telephone based it services.

If it is not supported in your country, then I'm afraid you're out of luck. As to why, you have to ask Apple https://getsupport.apple.com/ instead we support single users in these Community Forums.

  • Two-factor authentication

On my iMac after Sierra was an option to unlock with Apple Watch (security preferences panel). I click it and it says I need to disable the verification of two factor and enable two-factor authentication. Fine.

Did. Now the option to activate Apple Watch unlock on the mac has disappeared.

It works on my other Mac but not the iMac.

Also in the preferences to iCloud account, then on devices, I see that my Apple Watch can be used to receive the codes!

Someone knows how to fix these?

Tried to run iCloud power switch, disconnect the watch and repair, restart everything.

Just to be clear, the Mac is capable of auto unlock, it's an iMac end of 2015 and system report confirms it is compatible.

The apple support page also suggests watches should be able to receive the codes:

  • Can I choose my device of trust preferred to iCloud two-factor authentication?

I've recently implemented Icloud two-factor authentication, because I love the he adds extra security.

As usual, I have my macbook on me, I also have to log on windows pc, every now and then.

Unfortunately, ICloud chooses my headless mac mini which I use as a server at home instead of my laptop or Iphone.

I would like to stop receiving the confirmation on this machine code, everyone was faced with a similar problem?

If so how to solve it?

Codes to go to all the secure devices.

Of course, you can trust features remove at any time.
