  We got a new laptop in August 2013 and had accounts msn.com e-mail and yahoo on the mail app in windows 8. any fine until last Wednesday 1/10 when we now get message that the msn address is unavailable and it will not sync (or send test message) Yahoo account always fine and no problem on other devices - phone, i - pad & pc and no problems online via explore or google.

• Why can't I delete a facebook since the e-mail application account and people?

  So my mom just got a new laptop from Asus touch and I used it to understand Windows 8.   The binding between a Microsoft Account and a Facebook account is not really occur in Windows 8 machine, but rather in the backend of Windows Live.  Can you not open the people App, arrived to settings via bar charm, select accounts where you should see the connected Facebook account.  Click on that and you should see a link to "manage this account online.  This link will take you to a page that allows you to manage aspects of the connection between the Microsoft Account and a Facebook account.  The bottom is a link to "completely remove this connection."

  I never had the opportunity to remove a link from Facebook, but I imagine that this link will do what you want, leaving you free to tie your mother's Facebook acct to its Microsoft ACCT.

  I understand that after upgrading to Mac OS Sierra, you can't view attachments you receive via your IMAP e-mail account. I know it's important to have access to all your files, so I'm happy to help you.

  It is possible that during the upgrade, your IMAP mailbox has been corrupted and prevents you to view these attachments. To resolve this problem, we will rebuild your mailbox.

  To rebuild your mailbox:

  1. Open mail
  2. Select the mailbox in the sidebar to the left
  3. Use the Mail menu bar and choose BALL > rebuild. This will take some time depending on the number and size of messages in the Inbox mailbox.

  Thunderbird does not work with the authentication of step 2. Ask your provider how to use their service with a normal email client. An account Google can generate what they call a specific Application password. Maybe your provider has something similar.

  TB V - 24.4.0, Win XP32, fired from OE to the CT today on the friends system is about to run Win 7 64. One last question, I don't like having the pane complete message for security reasons, but when I go into this display/page/Message pane and uncheck it on every screen, every time that I reopen it TB, it gives the message pane on.   Well, you will need to find another program or even to use message rules to divert the emails from different accounts to different folders.  I don't know any other program that will do that with Windows Mail, then maybe you need to look for other e-mail programs.  I don't quite know which have the feature of Outlook Express identities, but I'm not an expert on other e-mail programs.
