• 3 MainStage mapping expression midi pedal

  MainStage 3 question. I recently redesigned my guitar rig to include some pedals in a rack drawer that I can control via my midi controller (Voodoo Lab Ground Control Pro). I decided to add my M-Audio M-Track to the rack so I can use virtual effects and plugins with MainStage. Everything works so far impressive and I get some really great sounds without my pedalboard full so it will make for a small backup/repetition plus platform.

  One of the patches that I'm working on now is going to be big ambient swells. I use the plugin Shimverb of Valhalla (awesome plugin, especially at this price!) and I'll probably add some digital delay him as well.

  I want to use my expression pedal (Ernie Ball Volume Pedal Jr.) via the sockets of the expression on the ground control to control the volume for this patch. I got this to work with a little trial and error. The problem is that when I use the expression pedal to control the overall volume of the patch is. I want to control my entry level so that when I lower the volume with the exp pedal the reverb and delay continue to ring. I see a parameter in the assignments and Mapping tab labeled 'entry level '. I think this would be the parameter I want to exp pedal control. The small icon next to him has a lock on it and I can't adjust the settings. I think this one is set up for more like a toggle switch rather than a signal that sweeps a range.

  So, basically, I want to control the volume of my patch before it hits the plugins/effects. Is this possible? It seems that it shouldn't be that hard to make it work. I tried Google without success so far. Here is a picture of what I have so far. When I select 'volume', then I can adjust the settings. When I select "input volume" I don't have any options to change anything.

  I hope that what I'm trying to make sense of. I think that it shouldn't really be that difficult. Thanks in advance guys. I really appreciate it

  

  I found a way to make it work. I will post it here in case someone else has a similar problem. I added a plugin to 'gain' on the front of the signal chain for the patch then assigned the expression pedal to adjust the level of the plugin. Min value to something like 96 db and max has the value 0. Works perfectly for what I needed.

• 3.2.2 MainStage Concerts will not open

  Periodically, when I try to open a MainStage concert, he does not. I get the spinning wheel of death color and have to force quit the application.

  I used to have the problem of corruption, but have been free of corruption for the last 2 or 3 months. I have made two changes to my workflow, but cannot tell you to that which, if not more, the issue of corruption.  I also moved to a new driver of materials updated for El Capitan, but the corruption had stopped before

  1. I discovered that in switching between the hardware configurations and multiple output, some bands of stereo channels would become mono and vice versa.  I made the channel strips that everything is material that I use both.  I check every time than in quite awhile to make sure.

  2. I kept my concerts both a local and player to iCloud (for a return to the top).  Sometimes the iCloud backups would get puff - I don't know why.  I now only save on iCloud if I have a connection fast bulletproof (a full Concert can be a file of 1 G.)

  Just in case, I also use the file command "Save as" to save a return to the top of a good Concert known as the "BackUp".

  If you must rebuild, I also found that it is MUCH easier to save the Concert as a patch (in the menu in the list of Patch set "Save as Patch") done to rebuild.  I also save the custom Channel Strip settings (in the drop down "Channel Strip") to avoid having to rebuild these too.

  Which versions of OS and software do you use?  You receive an error message?

  On the top of my head, try to go to ~/Library/Saved States Application / and that starts com.apple.mainstage trash.  Empty the trash, restart and try opening MainStage again.

• Buzz of noise in the tempo switch

  My song has 4 different tempos. Every time that happens, occurs a humming noise. If I get all tracks FX behind it disappears. How can I keep the delay, but not the buzz?

  If that kills too late in the face of that time, and then introduce a Gain ahead of every delay, automate the Gain to cut admission to the delay when changing the tempo. Who will cut the whole track, however.

• Trails of the icon when switching between desktops in the Sierra

  I noticed some display problems since the update for Sierra. I see some trails icon when switching between desktop computers as well as a line of 1px of random colors on the right side of the screen seems to be leftover pixels for the desktop switch as well.

• Selection not switching on

  Im having a problem where when I try to enable/disable certain alarms I turn on or off. When I switch on it will switch display green, and then he will return immediately after my selection to switch on (showing it is disabled). Looks like the animation is buggy or something. Factory reset just my watch and still have the same problem.

  A part of which is related to the upgraded Photos app. If you have lots of photos (in thousands), it will take a lot of time for it reach to analyze your photo library.   You don't need the Extension Safari DDG, since DDG has been integrated natively in Safari for some time. Select the Safari menu > Preferences > Search and select the dropdown Search engine DuckDuckGo . Then, select Extensions, select the extension DuckDuckGo and Uninstall.

  Leaving the current Extension is OK but it does nothing.

  I don't know what it is. If you do not either, get rid of it. At least delete your login items.

• Animation switching Office issues

  Does anyone else know a different animation in the Yosemite Sierra? Switching between desktop computers, the files animate as well and will be geek sometimes. Just curious, if it is a bug. I also have problems with the desktop image not resizing not between my Apple screen and the laptop, but one thing at a time. Thank you!
