• Import of CSV with loop value FOR

  Good afternoon

  I'm new to LabView and trying to write a VI that will eventually run a set of calculations on a set of data with millions of data points. I want the VI to count the number of data imported points of the. As they are written to a CSV file array. The number of points eventually will help me determine the behavior of the end of my calculations, it is not optional.

  I have trouble getting the file to read each successive line. The value 'for the iterations of the loop"feeds into the 'start reading Offset' «Worksheet File.vi reading» My intention was that this would result in a new line being read in the table with each iteration of the loop. What I get is the first value read over and over again in the first row of the table. Any ideas?

• How can I display the display value for an element of lov in another area

  My page has a few elements that allow the user to select specific criteria for their report.
  pn_person - select point based on lov. Lov shows the name of the person and returns the code of the person in pn_person

• List using select value for relationship building

  I have a form of interactive report. I have one "after Header" (LOAD) of the process running the sql commands that will fill a table with the data that the report needs for a given week.
  
  I have a select list element that works like a "before header" which retrieves a list of the dates in a table. Dates containing only the first day of the week for the past two years. It is called "WEEK_OF" table and the column is called "WEEK_OF_DATE".
  
  The default value for the select list is the first day of the current week. And then all of the first day of the week of the WEEK_OF table.
  
  I wish that the process of LOADING using the value in the Select list. So, to start, I would list to display the report to begin with the data of the current week and the current week.
  
  So I tried to use the variable: WEEK_OF_DATE (name of the element) as the start date of the report. However: WEEK_OF_DATE is null.
  
  Also, after that I have the status, I would choose a new date in the list and have the report automatically refreshes with the new data.
  
  Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

  Hi Lyle,

  When you set a default value for a selection list that should be used to filter a report, I thought it best to do using a calculation, dependent on the element is NULL and the header before running. If other calculations are based on this value, it should have the sequence number low to ensure that the value is available for those.

  I am currently using calculation-> after presents... then when we create/update a record... these computaion takes place and the default value for the inserted values get... THIS WORKS PERFECTLY WELL.

  Simple words, the "DROP TABLESPACE" command does not support '&' character. & is a substitution of placeholder for SQL variable * more.

  Even if you provide the value for the "data files" prompt, the command does not work as it would lead to "drop tablespace including contents tsname *"details of your file *.

  Because I am not able to read these records at a time.

  OK, so you want to shoe the total amount in the form itself (I guess that somewhere under the dashboard lines?).

  You can do this easily using formulat elements:

  1 create a new item in your block where the field amount is places, set "section of the database" on the 'No', 'calculation mode' to the 'formula' and the 'formula' himself to something like:

  CASE WHEN :BLOCK.CHECKBOXITEM=CHECKVALUE THEN :BLOCK.AMOUNT+:BLOCK.ADJUSTMENT ELSE 0 END;
  

  This formula returns 0 if the checkboxitem is not checked, otherwise the sum of amount and adjustment (of course you can adjust the names of elements and the value for 'Checked')
  2. place the element in the layout, if you wish.
  3. set the property "Query all Records" to "true" for your block elements, this is necessary for the calculation to work
  3 create a control block to keep summary article in a, "Single Document" set to 'True '.
  4. place a new element in this control block, set 'Calcuation mode' to 'Summary', 'Summary block' to your block elements, 'Summary point' in newly created formula section in the block elements
  and function of synthesis for the "sum".
  5. place the element in the layout

• NULL values for some elements of the XML reading tree

  I am confirming that I interpret correctly all the elements of a custom data XML structure defined by my application (the schema is completely under my control).  Some of the elements in my XML tree are read as NULL values, even if similar items are readind as expected.  I have checked some obvious things like misspelling the names of keys, but have not yet find the problem.  Anyone who has debugged similar questions - what else could cause this?

  OK, I got the feeling (and actually hoped) it was a silly mistake of face-palm on my part (compared to a problem of BB10 who had little chance of getting fixed).

  The problem is that I copy the structure of custom data from Starter to my Active dir to my data directory to first install but do not crush him on subsequent launches, as the copy in the data directory is what the user changes and relies on.  I was not a delete and reinstall on each of my iterations, so I wasn't really loading the modified versions of my XML I wanted--just, I was getting a day old stale version which was actually for the items I didn't expect NULL values for nulls.  DOH!

  I have it here is the snippet of code that retrieves the values for all the attributes user OIM 11g. But this code returns the exception of null pointer for attributes with null values. I also put if condition to check for null pointer exception, but always the null value is thrown in the newspapers whenever this code snippet is executed in the event handler.

  A call to ToString on null will give you the exception. You should check that the value is not null before calling toString() on it.

  In addition, you must perform an additional control on the user object that you receive after your try catch block. If the user object is null, then there is no need to run code on the user object.

  To expand on what I said in my first post, you want to do something in this direction:

  Note that the WITH statement is only there to simulate a table for this example. With a table, all you do is get rid of the with and replace it with the name of "t" for your table name (also the name of the column with name column has in your table).

  I am creating a property node for "cursor.xscale", but when I try to write a numeric entry in it, it does not accept any value (at least all the values that I tried). An error indicating that the value is not valid. What is a valid value for this property and what exactly makes this this property (not a lot of documentation available I guess)

  the XScale property is a number from 0 to n - 1, where n is the number of scales X you have on your chart (usually 1).

  Here is an example of chart scales of X 3 and 2 cursor associated with the scale 'Time' and 'Time 2 "respectively.

  

  The reason why it is important, it is that the X values read you in the column 'X' cursor will be different depending on whether the cursor is associated with one or the other ladder, as you can see above.
