Make a brush to react to the texture of the paper

Perhaps someone knows how I can make a brush textured not react to a paper texture - as if it was real painting on textured paper?

Thanks for any ideas you may have!

Possible workaround for you: oil painting when brushed on a Web like pattern varies in thickness and character with the texture of the canvas showing through where the thickness of the paint is not enough to cover it.  With an adjustment of ground layer (texture), you can reduce its effect here and there using strokes eraser brush on the layer so that it appears that paint covers the floor of the more realistic canvas.  You'll need to experiment.  This isn't the process you are looking for, but a different approach to achieve something of the same look. The same principle applies to the fine Watercolour Painting of course there is no Impasto.

With the textured brush strokes, you can always add variety to the depth of the race using a jitter setting.

  • Is it possible to make a brush that has on the one hand the foreground color and the other the background color?

I did an image brush and wanted to have the outlines of each stamp or the color of foreground and background color inside so that they may overlap and I won't have to go through and manually paint in each stamps subsequently.

Other than what JJ showed with jitter, which doesn't sound like what you want, the answer is no. The closest you can come to that is to create a model and use scripts to fill Deco to center the pattern. In this example, I used the random fill with a selected path.

  • Question about the Texture of the paper, distressed Edge and a specific color overlay

    Hello!

I searched for the answer to this question without luck so far - would love to hear if anyone knows how I can do this!

I try to combine a texture of watercolor paper with a border of sponge (as much as I do) and then having the watercolor paper corresponds to a pantone color specific of my palette.

When I superimpose a color on white paper in one of the blending modes it seems not good. Is the same for setting the opacity of the color so that the texture is evident.

I feel that my question is not clear, so I'll try to summarize in screencaps!

    Adobe Question.png

I'm trying to make the texture in a color mark, so I don't have clearance for the color to a lighter shade, etc.

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Thank you very much!

Texture and color in blending mode multiply, order should not issue. Then load the edge as a layer mask.

  • How can I make this brush?

I'm doing a brush that has effects of particles in the middle and a gradual gradient on the edges of which looks like this:

    Fading-Particle.jpg

    Does anyone know how?

Create a pattern using an empty layer of dark grey thickets and reticulation filter.  Select the round soft brush to a large size and add the cross-linking of pattern (texture) you just made as a feature of the Texture.   Use an opacity lowish and stream parameters. Experiment the jitter of the depth of the Texture of the brush until you get the desired grain density.  If it does not give you the edge transitions smooth are you after that you can always use a large brush and soft round white (or whatever background color is) to gently soften the edges of your brush grainy shots.

  • Brush opacity overlap at the same time?

I just got an Intuos5 and I'm not very experienced with Photoshop settings about the use of the tablet. I want to reproduce the effect of drawing on paper with a marker, without raising my pen.

If you go over back in the same place 15 times on a piece of paper with a marker without (lift the marker), the task will be much darker than if you do only one.

I understand that in Photoshop, I can raise my pen off the coast of the Tablet and make the same outline 15 times, but logistically, that doesn't work just with the way I draw.

Basically, I'm wondering if there is a way to make sure the opacity is purely depends on how many times a certain task is covered WITHOUT LIFT MY PEN.

I know there are controls to switch the opacity of the brush to coincide with the spring pressure, but I don't want to destroy my new Tablet by sculpture in there to get a pure black stroke.

To illustrate what I mean by this, here is an extremely crude example where the left represents how photoshop works for me now, compared to how I would like it to work. Notice how go to the same place at the same time, these intersections are clouded.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Opacity determines how opaque the mark of the brush can possibly get.

Speed determines the speed at which the brush accumulates at the opacity.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community Support from Apple. I know how it is important to follow your alerts, and I want to help you get your work again.

Before we get too far, it's always a good idea to check that your 'secret' button just above your volume controls is not engaged. If you see that the yellow indicator go ahead and switch to the other position to turn it off.

Alternatively, you can drag up from the bottom of the screen and make sure that the control of "do not disturb" is disabled.

If those who are for the time off, go ahead and restart your phone and retest alerts. If the behaviour continues or if you encounter any problems, please reach out again and let the community know what other steps you have tried. The entire community is here to help.

  • I get a saying of popup, that I need to install software to make sure that my browser is the latest version, but I already have firefox 28.0 and I am bit suspicious.

I just started having this extra window that says: "RECOMMENDED updates! It is recommended to install the software to make sure that your browser is the latest version. Please update to continue. "The link says: Rvzr - a.akamaihd.NET. I'm a little reluctant to touch anything because it never happened. In addition, I've doubled checked and my firefox is 28.0 isn't up-to-date. I even re-downloaded firefox to ensure, and I always get the pop-up window.

You're smart to be wary. You can check to see if an unnoticed add-on slipped? In particular, I suggest disable all non-essential or unrecognized extensions on page modules. Either:

    • Command + shift + a
    • Tools menu > Modules

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off.

Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

That get rid of the nagging dialog boxes?

  • Make sure that wire you all the inputs and outputs of your node library function call?

This document says "make sure that wire you all the inputs and outputs of your node library function call.

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/WebSearch/7253D2F0D91F68058625752F005AB672?OpenDocument&submitted&&...

But all the terminals on the right side of the call library node considered "outputs" referred to in the foregoing statement?

This same document continues to show the right way to allocate memory with this illustration and in the illustration, the right "outputs" are left without junctions.

Am I right in assuming that the only terminals that count as outputs, those who use the code of the DLL (modify) as output?  If it is true, then all other terminals output associated with the values entered alone so don't really account as outputs, correct?

In the parameter call-library configuration screen there is a "Constant" check box and the help that he wrote "indicates whether the parameter is a constant."  What is this box? for me in the setup of the DLL call

Finally, assuming that a call from the DLL that is supposed to write in these five outputs, is it legitimate to use constants like this to book a space of memory for the output values?

How about if local variables associated with the output terminals are used instead?

Despite the linked document, it is necessary to connect the corresponding entry for simple scalar output parameters (for example a digital). LabVIEW automatically allocate memory for them. If you do not want the entries for all the output wire anyway, there should not be no difference between a constant and a local variable; I would use a constant to avoid useless local variables.

For settings that are only entries, there is not need to connect the outlet side. It's a bit simplistic since all parameters are entered only and get one result (other than the return value), you pass a memory address and modify the content to this address, but LabVIEW manages this dereferencing pointer for you. If you want to really get into the details, learn more about pointers in C.

The "Constant" check box acts as the qualifier "const" on a c function parameter. It tells the compiler that the function you are calling will not change this setting. If you call a function prototype includes a const parameter, then you must mark this as a constant parameter when you configure the call library function node. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry on this subject.
