Make the length of a sound equal to the random duration of action

I want my duration of an audio clip to have the same length as the random duration of an event in the script.

Example: if my wheel spins for a random time, let's say 5 seconds, I want my audio clip length to 5 seconds longer. Thank for help.

What you can do, is have a looping sound stop when the animation ends.

  • How can I make the text box caption to display a text variable that is longer than the length?

    Hi all, I would like to do this: make a text caption to display a variable that contains a paragraph of text that the user has typed as soon as possible.

    I created the maximum length of the variable only 1000 and I am able to partially displayed variable in the text caption - only at the end of the first line of caption text.

    ICan someone tell me how to configure the text caption so that it can encapsulate texts? I can't find it in the properties panel.

    Thank you very much.

    No need to shout, even if I'm not native English, I understood your question very well, and this can be done with the enhanced TextArea widget as I mentioned. Here is a screenshot:

    Workflow:

    • Create a user variable, I scored it
    • Insert twice the widget with variable TextArea (Jim Leichliter, CaptivatePro), on the screen, these are the two rectangles on the bottom red and blue
    • Configure the first Widget to be associated with v_text and show this variable by inserting a default $$ v_text$ $
    • Configure the second Widget to display this variable by inserting returns a default $$ v_text$ $
    • You will need a button to refresh, so that the text appears in the second widget. Here I used the button, and then assigned to the action "Jump to slide" with the same number of slide so that the playback head rewound to the beginning of the slide
    • The text in the second widget shows; as you can see, it can be formatted as you wish.

    If you want to display the text in another slide, no need to make the action update, it automatically displays when you get to this slide.

    It is not a text caption that is displayed, but the widget. Is this a problem?

  • How to make the setting for the microphone internal on my Dell Vostro 1540/1550?

    The speakers work, but the microphone does not seem to be connected.

    Hello

    ·         What operating system do you use?

    ·         Were there recent changes made on the computer before the show?

    ·         You get the error message?

    Method 1:

    Try using the Audio playback problems troubleshooting to solve the problem. It search common problems with your volume settings, your sound card or driver and your speakers or a headset.

    Open the troubleshooting of Audio playback

    Method 2:

    I suggest you to update the latest audio drivers from the Dell website and check if it helps

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

    See also:

    Tips for solving common audio problems:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/tips-for-fixing-common-sound-problems

    Method 3:

    I suggest you try these steps,

    Step 1: Using Windows Sound Recorder to test the microphone.

    You can use this section to find out if the computer can record a signal from the

    Microphone and play again. Use Windows sound recorder to create an audio file using the following steps:

    a. Click Start, all programs, accessories, and then click Sound Recorder.

    b. click start recording and speak into the microphone.

    When you are finished recording, click on stop recording.

    Screen automatically opens.

    Type a file name and click Save. A type WAV or WMA file is created in the Documents folder.

    If you can record the Audio using the Microphone using the method above then theMicrophone works well.
    Now, it should work in any application that Supports Microphone. If the computer records the audio using the method above, then it might be a problem with the Microphone settings. Now, check the following settings.

    Step 2: activating the Microphone.

    a. Click Start, all programs, accessories, and then click Sound Recorder.

    b. click start recording and speak into the microphone.

    c. Recording tab showing a signal detected for the Microphone device

    Note: must have green check mark on that Microphone icon. Is no green check mark, this means that it is disabled. If there is no green mark on micro it never works. To activate the Microphone, right click on Microphone and click Activate. If you do not see the Microphone in the list, right click on the white space and select devices see the disabled. Then, you'd see the Microphone. However, if you don't see the green check mark on it, right-click on it and click Activate. Select Microphone and click on set as default (if defined as default button is active).

    If you see the green checkmark on Microphone the Microphone really works.

    Step 3: Increase the Microphone sensitivity and non-disabling the Microphone.

    a. Select Microphone and click the properties button.

    b. move the slider up to 100% of its range.

    c. If the mute is enabled, click the button mute to reactivate the device.

    d. If the Microphone Boost is available, amplify the volume.

    e. click OK to make the changes.

    Almost certainly an indication that a disc is a failure and should be
    replaced as soon as POSSIBLE.

    I get 4 hard drives and would like to know how to determine who makes clicking sounds.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    1. open the case and disconnect the power cables of all readers but
    C:, then run the computer for awhile. If we click, it is C: this is
    dying.

    2. then plug the power cable into a different drive and run it
    computer for a while. If you click on, it's that you reconnected
    who is dying.

    3, number 2 twice more if necessary to repeat.

  • Try to make the Table system (Acrobat Pro MS - Windows) dynamic intern

    Hi Experts...

    I developed system of presence of an intern in Adobe Acrobat Pro ms, Im new in JavaScript, but I managed to make the picture, but now I need to make the dynamic table, not all courses are 10 days, some are 20 days so every time I need to change the form (prepared) to copy the boxes and divide 100 / number of boxes so I can put a value in each box check out if the trainee course is 10 days so every day will come it will be equal to 10%, so at the end of

    I can see the percentage of presence, now I want to copy the boxes to cover all 4 weeks so I change the number of (duration) of the course each cru of the boxes will change their values dynamically, so the percentage of presence will work right.

    Here is the download link for the original PDF:

    So please can you help me or me to know what to do to make this table dynamically change the values for the checkboxes as percentage the guide will change automatically, thanks in advance.

    You might want to rethink your approach.

    I would like to change to count the number of checkboxes limited the period number and then simply divide the number of boxes checked by the number of the period.

  • How to make the animated lips that move with the text?

    Hello

    I would like to make the animated lips (as below) say some text. So I would like to move with the text that is said.

    What would be the best way to do it in an Adobe program? Thanks in advance!

    lips photo.jpg

    The best way to do it would be to learn now to use Adobe character animation. Simply design a work in layers so that the different sounds are on different layers.

    There are also manual techniques that require a familiarity with the distortion and masking tools in AE and a knowledge of the time remapping effect. You can also use audio levels to trigger the movement. Using this technique you can divide the image in the upper lip, lower lip and then use expressions to drive to position distortion tools. The good technique depends on the look you are after. If you just want to use those lips she's going to be quite difficult to get a "oh" sound or a 'b' as in "oh Boy" which seems natural.

    Are you new to AE? What you are wanting to do will require some basic skills in AE and probably Photoshop or Illustrator.

  • I used even to make the Blurays for a long time, with success, with no problems. Today, on my current project (.iso file estimated size ~ 19 GB) MENUS rendering time is reported as 31 + Hrs. Is this OK, or is there a problem?

    My system: 2013 Mac Pro: Core, 64 GB of Ram, two GPU of D700 12 / 3GB. I was creating an ISO image file using ENCORE 6. I am currently using the latest ADOBE CC system.

    The menu on which rendering takes a while has three normal buttons linking to 3 first videos produced. The menu has a long file AUDIO (about 90 minutes) as an attachment.

    After letting the rendering process to continue for 4 hours, on the audit of the progress window, progress bars seemed not to be ahead. I waited 2 + hours of overtime and checked again. Progress bars have been in the same place (no deposit). Activity monitor showed that still was still running. At this point, I cancelled the task. Then, I wanted to just MAKE THE MENUS. It is currently running for the 95 + last minutes. Details 'Render' reported ~29.5+ hours as TIME REMAINING. The number of processed IMAGES currently shows ~ 27000 + showing as 169065 in total. The meter for executives of the ongoing transformation to increment of the above stated figure of snapshot of 27000.

    I think that maybe I should let it continue to operate at the end (i.e. 30 hours of rendering time, if all goes well). Is - this sound NORMAL?

    Any advice will be appreciated.

    Never tried such an audio file for a long time. Are you sure that there is no video movement in this menu?

    What format is the audio file?

  • Make the swatch legend Script

    I was wondering if someone could help me edit this text written by John Wundes. Its almost perfect for what I need, but my problem is the text within the sample box when it is returned to the little ones. Ideally, I'd like that it be 90% of the actual sample size. I copied and pasted here if someone could help me I would be very happy. I tried to ask John on his Blog a few times, but I got no response. Also I would like to delete the CMYK values it returns with just the name of PMS only.

    1. the text is small

    2 remove the CMYK values it returns with just the name of PMS only

    Just a quick look at the code, try the following:

    1.) for the size, after this line:

    textRef = doc.textFrames.areaText(textRectRef);

    Add the following line, the numerical value on any size suits you:

    textRef.textRange.characterAttributes.size = 20;

    (2.) about removing the CMYK values for PMS colors, change this line:

    textRef.contents = swatches[c].name+ "\r" + getColorValues(swatches[c].color);

    To do this:

    textRef.contents = swatches[c].name;

    Once again... just a little wink, but maybe it will help your efforts.

  • How to make the background transparent?  He continues to show white.

    I'm trying to change text colors.  Once I have change the background is transparent it becomes white.  How can I fix it to make the transparent background to stay?

    It sounds as if you rasterize the text layer. In this case, before going in Edition > fill (with white?), click on the padlock at the top of the layers panel to lock the transparent area.

  • Make the artboard that is furthest to the right of the active artboard

    Hi all! I'm trying to understand if it is possible to make the artboard that is furthest to the right in a document, the active work plan. Plans of work, unfortunately, are made in a random order, otherwise I would just select a final which was made. Thanks in advance!

    Small example, go through all the work plans and test his edge right rect

    var ab = app.activeDocument.artboards;

    winner of the var, maxR = 0;

    for (var i = 0; i)< ab.length;="" i++)="">

    var rect is ab [i] .artboardRect;.

    var r = rect [2];

    If (r > = maxR)

    {

    maxR = r;

    Winner = i;

    }

    }

    alert (maxR + 'to' + winner + "name:" + ab [winner] .name);

  • How can I make the gum last the entire video tool in After Effects?

    Hi, I'm new to After effects. I noticed that when I put a picture on a video and tried to erase this image using the Eraser tool, the image is only cleared on the framework that I stopped the film to. is possible to make the Eraser tool are removed for the duration of the video?

    Sure. Set the length of the brush to infinity. And by all means read the help. It's basic stuff that can be easily answered by reading the relevant chapters.

  • Make the button load words from the list

    Hey guys!

    Just a note, I don't know about programming and I am new to Flash so please tell you the possible answers in the most simple way, thanks!

    So I do an application that when you click a button, it will be to randomly select a who, what, when, where and why from a list that I do.

    So say there's a button that says new idea.

    When I click the button it is:

    Who:

    Who:

    When:

    Where:

    Why:

    Say a small list of who's 1, 2 and 3

    A small list of what is 4, 5 and 6

    A small list of when is 7, 8 and 9

    A small list hence is 10, 11, 12

    And a small list of og is why the 13, 14 and 15

    How can I do so when I click on the new button idea it (by chance), will select one who, what, when, where and why of their list?

    Please help tell me what to do to make the button do place a word in a list, to what I'm asking!

    Please, I beg you!

    Thank you!!!

    To make a random selection from a list, you must first have the list.  A table is a good list, so for each category, create a table and fill each with any choice you intend.

    For the an elements to choose randomly from the list, you can use mathematical methods taken Actionscript supported by.

    var whoList: Array = [1,2,3];

    var randomWho = whoList [Math.floor (Math.random () * whoList.length)];
