Malfunctioning Office XP Professional with FrontPage

When I try to open some programs, I often get the window that says "Preparing to install," then the message that I need to provide a disk because the program above is not on my computer.  But, in the Add/Remove Programs list, this program is registered as being installed (Version: 10.0.6626.0, 218,00 MB size, on occasion, used last on 23/01/06).  What happens if I cannot find the original installation disc to buy and how to use this program?

The Diagnostics Office for Office XP are not available online. You will need the CD. You can try and see if you can borrow one from a friend.

You can contact Microsoft to see if you can get a replacement for Office XP CD.

Click on the article below for more information and telephone numbers.

  • want to scan document into word document, says I need XP Professional with FrontPage?

I want to be able to scan a document into a Word document.   I'm going to start, programs, and he said: scanning of document, but when it initializes said he needs from XP Professional with FrontPage?   where can I download it so I can use the digitization of documents?

New - depends on the software.  You did not mention the manufacturer or model of the scanner in question - so - even though it is highly unlikely that it's a Microsoft product, no one here can guide you directly to the manufacturer of products FAQ and manuals and forums and others for you show where you can get more information about how to use the scanner in question in the way you want to use.

    So, to simplify things:

    (1) what is the brand of scanner and the model?

    (2) have you installed all the drivers and the software of scanner said manufacturer?

  • Are files WordPerfect Office 2002 compatible with Windows 7?

Can't seem to be able to find converters of data files WordPerfect Office 2002.

    Hello Candleridge,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

    Word Perfect Office 2002 Professional supports Windows NT / 95 / XP / Me / 2000 / 98.
It is not compatible with Windows 7.

You might be able to install it in Compatibility Mode, but I don't know if it will work.
Please see the list below for more information on which their products are compatible with Windows 7.

Click here for a link to Corel.

    • Home offices

    • WinDVD 2010
    • WinDVD Pro 2010

These products have been tested and have no problems experienced when running on Windows 7. They will provide a similar experience with the same product running on Windows Vista or earlier operating systems

  • Remove MS Office Starter came with the computer

    I have a HP p6837C, AMD Athlon II X 4 running under Windows 7 64-bit.

I want to totally remove the MS Office Starter came with the computer and install a previous MS Office Professional, I had bought.

How safely get rid of which came with the computer

    Hello

Download and install the free version of Revo Uninstaller from the link below.

    http://www.revouninstaller.com/download-freeware-version.php

Run revo and use it to uninstall the software.  Make a right click on the program icon you want to remove and select uninstall.  During the process, that you may be asked to remove the registry entries, simply select all and then click on remove.  Do the same for any left over files and folders.  Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the PC.

    Kind regards

  • Error: "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office 2000 Professional.

How can I get rid of the message "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office 2000 Professional".  Apparently, the system does not find a valid source for this.  To my knowledge, I have not downloaded this software even though I must admit that it does not appear in my list of software.  I tried to remove the screws of the Panel control, but to no avail.

Thank you for your response.  I have now solved the problem by deleting the installation, using the cleanup utility.

However, I appreciate you trying to help me.

    diana73,

First of all, make sure that you're connected Administrators account to do.

How to change a drive letter to change an existing drive letter on a drive, on a partition, or a volume, follow these steps:

    1. Sign in as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
    2. Click Start , click run and type compmgmt.msc .
    3. In the left pane, and then click disk management .
    4. Right click on the drive, the partition, the logical drive or volume that you want to assign a drive letter to and then click change drive letter and paths .
    5. Click change .
    6. Click assign the following drive letter if it is not already selected, click the drive letter that you want to use, and then click OK .
    7. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the drive letter change.

The letter of the drive, partition, or volume that you specified is changed, and the new drive letter is displayed in the appropriate drive, partition, or volume in the disk management tool.
