  • How to remove Vista Total Security 2011?

I recently got the virus 'Vista Total Security 2011' and he blocked me to open my internet browsers. I changed all its settings and completed the process with the Task Manager, and now he let me on my browser. However, now I can't open anything on my computer (for example: Itunes, Skype, etc.) and it won't let me run things I download once I download them. It keeps saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. May not permissions to access you the item. "What I do and how do I remove this virus?

I'm not very good with computers, so I don't really know what to do... Help, please.

My problem is solved! I actually didn't use all the methods presented here, but thank you for your help. My friend told me I could use "System Restore" and some degree of restoration before I caught the virus.

If any of you have this problem, I strongly suggest you this :) It's really easy and I didn't do much. Thank you all and good luck to anyone having the same problem!
  • Malware 'Vista Internet Security 2010'

My wife's computer uses Vista Home OS and installed Panda Internet Security (updated).  I used this antivirus / firewall for many years without any problems.  An app called 'Vista Internet Security 2010' literally took over the regular computer pop ups saying that it has detected the main recorder software and lists a large number of another virus which he claims to have detected.  This application is not visible under installed programs and I found impossible to remove it or disable it.  Constantly, he asked at registration and of course a payment and blocks all access to the internet.  Another popup when opening internet explore request permission for a file named "av.exe" to access the internet.  I looked for this file (System and hidden files visible), but it is not visible in the given location.

My main computer with this particularly vicious malware infected family member.   I followed the instructions in a post on this site about MalwareBytes, but who has failed for me.

I was finally able to disable temporarily by running the Windows Task Manager.  Use this, I have found the application of 'Vista Internet Security 2010' and kill a few minutes both pure and simple.  Then, right-click on this entry for the purposes of ' Vista Internet Security 2010 ", I could then click on 'Go to the process' to find the name of the rogue processes involved."  For me, the process of thugs was appointed AV EXE.  Then, I was able to find and remove the AV. EXE file.

However, it was catastrophic in terms of my computer in general, since I've found while the rogue malware had also changed my registry.  In fact, some. EXE registry entries had been modified to refer to something as "DRY".  My general for registry entries. EXE, were damaged as well.  For example, after killing AV. EXE, my computer had almost ceased to exist.  I could run any. EXE to all programs.

But, finally, I have found that I coulld run. EXE by right-clicking on them, running programs 'run as administrator '.  I was then able to repair my broken registry by setting the. EXE file association link, by the use of http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/165/1/Restore-the-exe-file-association-in-Windows-Vista-after-incorrectly-associating-it-with-another-application.html.

The procedure described above may not be perfect [there should be managed independently by someone else].  But it can be useful.  This virus is particularly nasty.

    Rich

PS by the way, I have to admit that I was also a little irritated by the people of Norton AntiVirus.  Their software, I paid a few dollars over the years to use was useless.  I called support.  Rather than use my case as a way to improve and fix their software, they wanted to charge me $99.  The end result is that over time, I intend to go to MalwareBytes.

  • Is XP Total Security virus?

This seems to be a 'fake' piece of software. He joined himself in the MSFT security software.  He is running a routine continuously saying "Virus Infection". It will launch a scanner that lists the malicious software and where it is located.  the ONLY solution is to activate total security XP software.  When you click on save, it asks your personal information and credit card.  I tried to launch IE and Firefox.  The XP Total Security software blocks access to internet and requires you to revisit the site for credit card information. It's a resident app memory (I think) Security XP logo appears in the toolbar next to "time".  I now use window Malware detection tool, after 2 hours, no results, but it still works.  Any other suggestions? Hello

    (1) what anti-virus program you use to remove the virus from 2012 of security in vista home?

To work with this problem, refer to these methods.

    Step 1:

Perform a restore of the system to a point before the virus infection occurred.

    Step 2:

Perform system restore can bring back the virus. To be on the safer side, it is suggested that you run a computer virus scan after the system restore.

I suggest you run an antivirus scan using the Microsoft Safety Scanner to confirm that your computer is free from any infection by the virus. Please find the link below.

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
The Microsoft Safety Scanner is not a replacement for the use of antivirus software that offers continuous protection.

    Hello

read below for information on what it is and how to remove it

It changes its name, but it's the same Malware program

Win 7 Antispyware 2012, 2012 Antivirus Vistaand XP Security 2012 are all names for the same fake anti-spyware. This family of thieves is promoted in two ways. The first is to use antivirus scanners online fake state that your computer is infected and then prompt you to download a file that will install the infection. The other method are pirated web sites that attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in programs that you run on your computer to install the infection without your knowledge or permission. No matter how it is installed, as soon as it runs on your computer it will install as a variety of names in different programs and graphical interfaces depending on the version of Windows that is running. Whatever the name, however, they all end the same program with just a different skin to this topic. This rogue is going to program different names, one of which I have listed below based on the version of Windows that is installed on:

    Windows XP rogue name
    Name of Rogue Windows Vista
    Windows 7 Rogue name

  • 'Vista Internet Security' claims that I have infections but other software do not find them; asking me to purchase the program before deleting infections; balloons of warning that I can't turn off is displayed.

    Hello

A program called 'Vista Internet Security' randomly started scanning my computer today, even if I was not said or was even aware I had. She argues there are 33 infections on my PC and than remove them I have to sign up and buy the program (which I do not!). Even if I click remind me later or leave unprotected it pop again alerts such as Stealth Inrusion balloons! Misuse of the system! System Danger! Found tracking software! Security breach! and private life threatening! It resembles a formal program, but it is not on my PC anywhere. It says 'upgrade to the full version of Vista Internet Security security software now! Clean your system and avoid new attacks. »

I ran the Spybot program, but he found nothing. I have installed McAfee so I ran which but he found nothing also. I am running Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware scan but it has yet to find anything.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-Internet-Security-2010

Internet Security 2010 is a fake anti-spyware that is installed through the use of malicious software. Once installed, Internet Security will be configured to start automatically when you log in to Windows. It will then scan your computer and display many infections, but will not remove anything until you purchase the program. These infections, however, are all fake and are only to demonstrate that they trick you into thinking you are infected so that you then purchase the program. It goes without saying that you should definitely not buy this program.

Follow the steps CORRECT on the link above to remove it, including STOP the THIEF treat 1st before you scan them for it with Malwarebytes:

    1. Print out these instructions we will have to close each open window later in the fix.
    2. Before we do anything, we must first end to the processes that belong to Internet Security 2010 so that it does not interfere with the cleaning procedure. To do this, download the following file on your desktop.

      Rkill.com download link

    3. Once it is downloaded, double-click on the rkill.com in order to try automatically stop all processes related to Internet Security 2010 and other Rogue programs. Please be patient while the program seeks to various malware programs and end to them. When it's over, the black window will close automatically and you can continue to the next step. If you get a message that rkill is an infection, don't be concerned. This message is just a fake warning given by Internet Security 2010, when it terminates programs that can potentially remove. If you encounter these infections warnings that close Rkill, a tip is to leave the warning on the screen and then run Rkill again. By without closing the warning, this typically will allow you to bypass the malware trying to protect itself so that rkill can terminate Internet Security 2010. So, please try to run Rkill until malware is no longer running. You will then be able to proceed with the rest of the guide.

Do not restart your computer after running rkill as malware programs will start again.
