MAMCityDownload.ocx

I recently noticed a file called "MAMCityDownload.ocx". This file is safe?

I also searched for an answer and got the misleading results. Help.

Hello

What happens when you check this file with your installed antivirus program?

. OCX files are ActiveX controls and a favorite vehicle for many viral malware.

I would recommend that you also download and run the Malwarebytes program.

    Hello

A survey on the net I found an info that the HHCTRL. OCX is responsible for HTML Help ActiveX control.
The ActiveX (Hhctrl.ocx) HTML help control provides rich functionality for support systems. Main features include: an expanded table of contents, keyword search, shortcuts and contextual help topics.

In my opinion, OS files or registry entries are corrupted. Research on the knowledge base Microsoft for some tips.

  • How to register cwui.ocx in Windows 7

    Hello

I'm having trouble installing cwui.ocx (from Measurement Studio) in Windows 7. The software for our product has been developed with Measurement Studio for Visual Basic V. 6. When I try to run it in Windows 7, I get the message "cannot load (or register) custom control cwui.ocx.  My software, including cwui.ocx, installs and runs correctly in Windows XP.

INSTALLATION PROGRAM. LST specifies the path as follows:

    File21 + 1, cwui.oC_, cwui.ocx, $ (WinSysPath), $(shared), 8/1/2001,2301952,66.0.3.589

Any suggestions for a fix for Windows 7 would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

I copied the cwui.ocx (and its dependencies), of MStudio 8.1.2.143 to a machine with Windows 7 installed. Then I tried manually register the control ActiveX using Regsvr32.exe cwui.ocx. It failed with errors if I did not run as administrator command prompt; Once I ran the prompt as an administrator and then recorded the administrative access ActiveX, it entered correctly. Thus, in my view, that he is a permissions problem.

Confirm that you are this runs with administrative privileges (Windows 7 is very particular about its access privileges for each program), and I bet that's the culprit.

    Hello

Finally, I would add my ocx and dll in my project (add the file). When I configure the executable file in the Source file, I have always understood the ocx and dll.

For the proprieties of the installer, in settings of Source code file, I select my ocx and dll and in file and folder attributes I check "register COM.

I don't know if that the right way to do it but it works.

  • Error in mscomct2.ocx after application of active directory

    Hello!

I developed a system of inventory for my business application, that I am currently working.

The application is developed using VB6 and works perfectly until the Active Directory is implemented.

The error will like "component mscomctl.ocx or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered... etc.

I already checked the administrator account and tried the app and it works exactly the way it should be.

I have already ruled out the user to the list of unauthorized users and included everyone in the group. I rebooted the computer several times.

I guess that active directory is causing the problem.

The error goes to the time windows 7 & 8 (64-bit)

    Please help me.
