Automation of absolute or relative mode on graphs

Hello

I want to do a control triggers an event on my Panel frontal vi, which makes alternate time graphics mode to absolute relative in x mode.  I can't find the property or method where I can access this mode.  When right-clicking on the chart control, it's under view/properties/format type.  Anyone know where I can this change dynamically during execution?  I am looking in the properties/methods of the chart control reference, can't seem to find it.

Thanks for any help

Hi David,

Right click on the terminal chart and select: create > property Node > XScale > display Format > Format

    Hello

How can I know what are called the subVIs? I would like to know what type of path is used; absolute or relative.

The brilliant solution would be if I could choose a VI and a list of its subVIs with the path close to.

  • VCenter Mgmt and calculation with single SSO and related modes?

I am a great vCAC environment design and want to separate not only Mgmt/Compute clusters, but also of the vCenters.   I want to be able to manage these inLinkedMode vCenter.  My plan is to have 2 vCenter VM and VM Web/asingleSSO.    When you install the two vCenters, I've just direct them to the server shared Web SSO, and then enableLinkedMode?

Will this work?  Something else I'm missing?  AsingleWeb server instance will be able to manage multiple vCenters?

    Thank you

    -MattG

    Hello, MattG.

Yes, you can use 1 SS and 1 service WebClient for "single-pane-of-view" for 2 vCenters, I did the same thing recently, and you need not related modes. Just point your SSO and Web when installing two vCenters. But in this case, you can manage both of them single point in the Web Client, no thick vSphere client. If you need to manage two of them only heavy customer too, then you should make the related modes, but in this case as far as I know, you must also install multi-site SSO, not simple SSO node. I use the first schema.

    Sorry for my bad English.

  • Group related modes. 4.0 to 4.1

    Hi guys,.

    Here's my question:

We have two VCenter 4.0 in a group of related modes and we want to upgrade one of them in 4.1.

Is it possible to stay in bound mode if we have a VCenter 4.0 and a VCenter 4.1.

    Thank you very much

Yes, 4.0.x and 4.1 can be connected together, if that is the question you are asking.

  • Related modes, nothing happens?

I have built 3 separate independent vCenter servers during the last 2 months. DR, VDI and PROD.  Each is based on Windows 2008 R2 and vCenter 4.0 with update 1 is running.  They are also all on the same domain with the firewall disabled.  PROD was done last and I wanted it to be the first server in a connected mode configuration.  So, I proceeded to connect on the server DR and ran the vCenter Server Linked Mode Configuration in the menu start and choose Change Linked Mode Configuration.  I ticked the box "Instance of vCenter server joining an existing group of related modes" or another instance (isolate is greyed out) and registered in the domain name FULL of PROD with Port 389 LDAP server.  Installation completed without error, but when I connect to PROD with the vSphere Client, I don't see anything about DR.  I tried the same procedure with the Server VDI and which shows no more.  I don't have any errors, but nothing seems to happen.  Am I missing something?  Help!

    Scott.

    Try this: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1009551

Also, try to set up the linked profiles logged in as the same user that you have installed vCenter (or try local administrator).

  • "Destroyed" vCenter Server - can it be removed from related modes?

    Hi all

I have set up a small laboratory using esx 4.0 and vcenter 4.0 all them was working fine until today.

There are 2 servers vcenter linked mode. Today one of the servers (it was actually my office running as the second vcenter in the config of bound modes) "crashed" at a point that I'm not sure that it is worth trying to get windows back up again (bad registry file loading failure)

I would like to know how I can remove the second instance of vcenter configuration, so I get the nagging 1 vCenter server is not connected error message.

It would be even possible to reinstall windows, reinstall vcenter, assuming that the host names and intellectual property stay the same and the removal of bound mode later?

    Thank you

    DyJohnny

    Hello

Sorry for your fatal system shutdown.

Well, I don't know if it is possible to reinstall

Windows, reinstall vCenter, hostname/IP condition remain the same.

and then remove VC related modes.

Bound mode, you have added the two systems to the same domain. So for now, you could try removes the VC domain and connect to the system running and the VC as the local administrator.

In addition, I don't know what options you would get if you'd called Installer VC once more on the virtual circuit running. It might give you an option to separate the the Victoria Cross VC crashed (not sure but maybe worth a try).

    Thank you.

  • Change all links to the site from absolute to relative

So I'll try to make an individual link to absolute to relative, however, it is an image file to a favicon. When I change all the links of the site normally makes the link on the page all the "images/favicon.ico', but this does not work for pages not on the root of the site. So, how can I do this correctly?

    I use DW CS4.

I don't know what you're asking.  But by this root favicon of the site link, you should be fine in all pages.

    Search for "href = images/favicon.ico""and replace with"href="/images/favicon.ico".

  • Is it possible to change link paths from absolute to relative?

My company uses Dropbox to synchronize all our design files between all the computers in the designer. Currently our Illustrator files are too large (500 + MB) because we incorporate images. We must maximize save/download time and the space occupied by these files, if we put in place a folder structure that allows us to make a link to the images that we will store them in a folder.

Our structure of folder for the related files: CUSTOMER/PROJECT of NAME NAME/Version/assets/Linked Files/linkedFile.png

Our folder structure for the Illustrator comps: CUSTOMER NAME/PROJECT NAME/Version/Designs/Platform/Device/uiComp.ai

Unfortunately, Illustrator seems to refer to absolute paths for each linked file and each user has a different structure where their Dropbox folder.

    Designer 1 Dropbox path: /jessi/user/Dropbox /

Designer 2 Dropbox path: / Volumes/Dropbox / (he holds on an external drive)

    Designer 3 Dropbox path: / Users/rusty/Dropbox /

For this reason, if another designer opens a file, all the links are broken. If the paths are relative, it would work.

We all use. Adobe Illustrator CC (2014)

Unfortunately you can not change the paths of the link to relative

    Try

Let us know if this works with CC 2014

  • Absolute addressing related vs

I used Captivate project and created successfully from the pages of menu with buttons to access existing projects. It works beautifully. (Using Captivate Menu Builder has been a disaster, but that's another story).

When I copied all the files on a disc and took the project of the disk, only the first page worked. Whenever I used a button of call/jump to another file, he could not locate the file. The error message listed on full filename of the location of the original file, the letter of the hard drive and all. He wasn't even trying to get the disk.

I tried to use a link to a project rather than a file, but who had the same problem.

Can someone tell me how to get the button to access a relative address instead of the absolute?

    Thanks a bunch

Hi 123mustbeme and welcome to our community

    You said:
I tried to use a link to a project rather than a file, but who had the same problem.

Normally, everything you do is point on the project. You're then left with a relative link. Note that ultimately, you will need to place the two output that you create as well as the project that you have access to in the same folder, but I've never seen fail in this way.

Some people pushing confused about the binding in this way and don't understand how Captivate can know what he is supposed to link to, because in the end, you are pointing to the. CP file for the project that you are linking. But Captivate has resolved it for me. Exactly HOW it works, it's still a mystery. I'm just happy that it works.

  • SSO domain ID correspond with membership of related modes

    Hello

SSO is of course a pain in the @$S, I have created two fresh instances of vCenter. All services have been installed individually (so no simple installation).

The two instances are configured for multisite

Before installing the second instance I exported as explained in the articles UNIQUE authentication data.
I created the second instance in the same way. Has pointed out my primary server for SSO SSO using multimode.
Once 2nd vCenter was running I exported the UNIQUE authentication data and imported on the primary standards body, again according to the instructions in KB.

Then I tried to join the second instance in bound mode the first instance that fails.
The tool.log of status.txt file and join say there is an incompatibility of domain ID. Apparently this happens when not to use the multisite SSO, but I set it up in these two facilities.

What could be the cause of that time? I found an article that talks of veryfying ID but for some reason that I do not have access

    http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/search.do?cmd=displayKC & docType = kc & externalId = 2050493 & sliceId = 1 & docTypeID = DT_KB_1_1 & dia...

I checked that the first Victoria Cross and indeed appearing as part of a config attached. I was not able to isolate configuration as editor that reported an error. I managed to get it joined after I deleted the 2nd VC instance by the ADSI Configurator in the first instance.
It seems so when there is an error with joining during installation that it leaves some settings behind which prevents to join them later.

  • Missing data in the LDM diagram type when boning relational mode

    I use OSDM v3.3.0.734.
I created the relational model by importing the DDL script.
Then I retroconcu to create the LDM.
However I can't attribute data types in the schema of the LDM.
If I right click-> view-> details yet it does not show me the data types.
The only options I see when I click on 'Détails' are details, only names, attributes.
It does not show me options PK/FK, types of data etc...

    Thank you.

    Hello

you need to change the notation used--data types are not displayed in the Barker notation.

  • possible bug in colorTransform-related mode full screen (projector and standalone flash player 10)

    Hi all

It seems to have hit a bug in the current drive (tested on 10.1.52.14):

If I programmatically change the color of a sprite consisting in a text and a circle the output is different if the application is in mode full-screen (the text is not colored in fs)

In my class mousedown event handler I call the following (slightly simplified the code to make things easier to understand here):

    var cTrans:ColorTransform = new ColorTransform();

    _hColor =0xD78500
    Recolor the clicked sprite
    cTrans.color = _hColor;

    this.transform.colorTransform = cTrans;

This is what I get in windowed mode (expected behavior):Capture_w.PNG

It's the same sprite full screen:Capture_fs.PNG

I can switch between windowed mode and full screen and the text gets colorful or not, as stated above.

Anyone got clues about what's going on? I mean that's not supposed to probably not be that way...

    No solution (easy) workaround?

    Thank you very much

    Mike

Well I tried to make a projector and do not see with it, but then again my install puts 10.0.22.87 in the projector.

I could try changing the Sprite to a MovieClip and see if that helps.

My question is can I ASSOCIATE the VC 2.5 to 4.0 VC?

    Thank you...

No, you can't. You can only bind VC4 to VC4.

  • Is CFFILE read uses only the absolute path or the relative path too?

I use cffile read access to my file to json. I would like to know if the cffile uses only absolute or relative path too? If I tried to use the relative path, it kept send me errors on non-existent file.

Read what I posted on the documentation. CFFILE read must be an absolute path. If you use a path relative to its parent to the CF temp folder:

If not an absolute path (starting with a drive letter and a colon or a slash to advance or back), it is relative to the ColdFusion temporary directory, which is returned by the GetTempDirectory function.

There is no relative path from your web files. IF you just put a relative path, it will attempt in the CWS for the file temp folder.
